Awful commercial
Complaint Rating: 75 % with 4 votes
Company information:

I have never sent a complaint to a company before this, but I feel very strongly about this issue!!! This is in reference to you commercial where the "Daddy" BurgerKing comes in with "apple fries" for his children. The "Child" Burger King comes in, KICKS daddy and takes the fries. How dare you show this kind of behavior! We have a tough enough time teaching our children good manners!!!

I seriously doubt that I will ever eat at Burger King again!!! AND I WILL VOICE MY OPINION TO MANY OTHERS!!!

I am one of the smart people who chose, deliberately, not to have children. I think only stupid people are reproducing at an alarming rate and therefore adding more problems to the planet. Perhaps you have trouble with your children, but that's your fault, not Burger King's.
Therefore, I think the commercial is hilarious! If parents got kicked on a regular basis, maybe more people would choose not to have any more. Ha!

I agree, Mrs. Funny Stuff! How can u blame a silly commercial for ur child's behavior? If u raised them rite, u wouldn't have that problem. I have 2 kids, BUT they could c that BK commercial and u can't PAY THEM to hit me or my hubby like that. NO MATTER HOW MANY TIMES THAT COMMERCIAL BROADCASTS.

I have never responded to anything like this before. We have 6 children and 12 grandchildren and Burger King has always been our favorite fast food restaurant. ( We have also owned our own dinner house and lounge for the past 27 years, so we deal with the public.) This commercial is outrageous, this is condoning how "some" kids act in today's world, "unfortunately too many". And this is why they act this way. They are given the O.K. to behave in this fashion by T.V., Schools, and the government not allowing parents to parent their own children. The kids have the laws on their side to such a degree that they hold their parents over a barrel and threaten them if they don't get their way. That child in your commercial should have been reprimanded, spanked, had the apple fries taken away and sent to his room until he learned how to behave. Since you have come up with this great idea maybe you should be sent to your room and everybody ignore you for awhile. To the girl who said she did did not want children and thought this was funny. I hope she has a few and they all act like the child in your commercial. She will deserve it. You need to rethink your values, or people will not value your operation. How would you like all the children who frequent your restaurant to kick your employees. You are prompting this.

I am becoming more and more disgusted with the rude commercials that Burger King is running. I just don't understand how anyone can think a child kicking his father is funny unless that person is rude, crude and disgusting themselves. You do indeed need to rethink your values or people will not continue to value your business.
I too have 3 children, 4 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren, none of whom would be allowed to behave in such an unkind way to their parents because we love them too much to allow them to be so obnoxious and rude.

I Agree 100% that is the worst AD I've seen for a Fast Food.

I will NEVER take my Grandchildren to Burger King again.

We don't need to teach children to be rude, what happened to Respect for our parents? It would have never entered my mind to KICK my Dad-I respected him.

Burger King is an advertiser on the most trashy, filthy, moral busting show ever shown on networkTV. The show is called "swingtown" If allowed to continue, anything can and will be shown, at the the risk of the further damage of the sancity of marriage and the familTell them y. Our dear young people have little hope for the future as it is. They need to have us stand up for decency .. the show portraysmarried couples randomly sleeping with each others spouses...t minor children drinking and much more. A large group of us are boycotting cbs TV and their advertisers . Many have pulled their support from the show. We will do so until they clean uo their act .Burger King is out as well as long as they advertise and help that garbage !!! IF you object, CBSTV phone__323-575-2345. YOU know where Burger King is. Tell them your On your on your to Wendys____or wherever. THANKS Sleepless in O C.

I just saw the TV ad for the crayola kids meals...having the father lie to the teacher...this is not teaching values to children or that parents are teaching values to their children...I don't want my Grandson watching ads like this one or the one where the child kicks the "Burger King" dad to get apple fries...use your brains and values and improve your ads!!!

I am absolutely appalled at the "time of the month" commercial that's playing now. I have been a relatively regular customer to Burger Kings, but no more after the disgusting commercials they are running recently.

I totally agree with the others on the Burger King commercials. I think all of the commercials are disrespectful. The one with the whopper speaking to the whopper, jr. is so rude, I cannot believe it was on tv. Burger King needs to change a negative into a positive. My husband and I could not believe what we were hearing. Please reconsider the attitude portrayed in these commercials.
