I am a regular costumer at this establishment located in Manchester CT. I placed a takeout order today and decided to pay via credit card, the cashier that was helping me out initially was very friendly and was trying to help. The problems began once she decided to look for assistance, once it was explained to her that credit cards payments failed with 2...

Buffalo Wild Wings the glass ceiling

"Is Bdubs a good place to work?" I'm often asked. Unfortunately my answer is not a simple yes or no, but more of a "that depends". It depends on who you are if your a female at all the answer is usually yes, especially between the ages of 16 and 24. For women buffalo wild wings offers a great work environment, with loads of opportunities to climb the corporate ladder. But if you are a man between the ages of 16 and 30 then the answers is a big fat NO! I have worked there for 7 months now and and just realized that I've hit the glass ceiling without ever leaving the floor. On the other hand, the beautiful young girl that I began working this job with climbed the corporate ladder rather quickly. We started around the same time but she was promoted within the first two months to cashier. I've been here seven months and I've had only one cashier shift. I was also promised a server position around Christmas time and guess what? I never even saw the training manual. Shocker! But what really pisses me off is the fact that they're hiring servers left and right even though on their case about waiting tables. Nothing good has come from this job and the money sucks for the ### I have to deal with on a daily basis.

Buffalo Wild Wings bad service

I recently went to the new Buffalo Wild Wing in St. Marys, Oh and the waitress didn't give us any refills, the appetizer came out right before we were getting ready to leave, the waitress "helper" asked us to get our food of of the tray because she thought she would drop it, my food was cold, and also I found a hair in my food. They took the potato wedges off the bill for having a hair in it but never offered me new ones. I was very displeased. If you are going to open a new business I understand that it might not be all together the first few weeks but make sure the workers know what they are doing and are properly trained!

On February 11, 2009 myself and my family dined at Buffalo Wild Wings in Colonial Heights, VA. Upon trying one of the wings I ordered, I didn't like the taste and kindly asked to exchange them for another flavor. Mind you I only had six wings. When told by my waitress, Deanna, "no, because the business is trying to save money", I asked to speak with a manager. So the manager named Wayne came to the table and very abruptly said "we don't take food back just because the customer doesn't like it. We're in the business of making money. Do you know how much we would lose if we took back everything our customers didn't like?" I replied in saying "well isn't the main goal of the restaurant business customer service?" Wayne replied saying "again we're in the business of making money." completely disregarding the issue of customer service. Then he stated "generally what we do is when a customer doesn't like their chicken, we put it in grease at 350 degrees until the sauce runs off, then dip the same wings in a new sauce for you." I asked "isn't that unsanitary? and "so you're telling me a customer can bite off of a piece of chicken, take it out of their mouth, ask for a new sauce, and you dip it in re-used grease, then in sauce thats supposed to be for new food, and bring it back out?" He immediately said "yes, claiming the temperature of the grease kills germs while taking off the unwanted sauce." This means the grease and sauce they are using contains bacteria and germs from other customers mouths from unwanted food. This is unacceptable as well as unsanitary. When asked how long this was going on, he said "well I wasn't supposed to tell you that much, but that's how we always do our chicken." Also added was to send them back and get a new sauce they charge you for a whole new set of chicken although you are really getting back the same chicken you already had. Something needs to be done about this practice and the unsanitary conditions of the food served.

We decided to dine at the local BWW for some wings, and we thought it a bit cold indoors and decided to dine outside. It was five minutes before we were greeted by our waitress, and just when things were looking up, they changed the channel on the TV, took our order, and we waited for almost an hour and a half before our order finally arrived. Things were so bad that the manager thought he would come out and BS with us instead of ascertaining if they were growing the chickens before butcher. AFTER SOME ANNOYING CHIT CHAT, THE MANAGER SEEMED PERTURBED WHEN MY WIFE ASKED HIM WHERE THE (EXPLICATIVE) OUR ORDER WAS AT. Even at their busiest, we have never waited that long for some wings. Seems like pathetic managerial and waitressing skills are only employed in Derby, Kansas.

This place is terrible.. this is a letter i sent to their contact us link on their main web site over a week ago with no reply.. today I was bored so I spent a bit of time to find the CEO of BWW's email address

Hello, Ms. Smith

I had sent this letter to your sites contact us link, I was really expecting a reply to it. But after a week with out a call, or even a email I started thinking maybe the people that read those replies just do not care either. below is a copy of the letter I sent and I am looking forward to a reply.

Thanks

my name

Generally I get good service when i dine in, but i usually go to the merriville location.

this time I went to the new Crown Point Indiana location. This was the worst service I have received at any restaurant. First upon arriving I asked to be seated at a booth. the host blatantly ignored this and brought me to a table, again I asked for a booth, that was clearly open at the time. But yet again that was blown off and was told well i can put you at this half booth, by this time I was tired of dealing with her ignorance, and lack of customer appreciation so I said whatever and sat there. ( This is when I realized where people go to work when they are fired from Mc Donalds.)

Then came the long wait for food, it must of taken so long because it was over cooked, the boneless wings where hard and crunchy, the last one when i went to pick it up with a fork was so well done that it shattered. Having worked at restaurants I know better than to send back food at a place that employs teenage cooks.

Finally we where able to get a manager over to our table, it worried me for a bit that the wall that they where leaning on for the past 20 minutes might fall over without them holding it up. I informed them of all the problems with the meal. They graciously insult me with a $5 off on my next meal coupon. I thought wow I payed for $30 of dry food and they gave me a $5 off my next visit.. What is the real bad part is that coupon was under what I left the waiteress as a tip since it was not her fault. At that point I knew for a fact that this place is full of fired Mc Donalds employees. I was going to wright screw your $5 off on the card and leave it on table, but thought maybe one day I will give a different location a try.. either way I will not return to that bww location.

the CEO's email address is sallysmith@buffalowildwings.com

just to comment i work at one of the many places that this store has popped up... there is no training as waitstaff they are shown how to put orders in and that it. cooks your put on a station and u have to learn for yourself.. their wing certification training as they call it is a big fat joke. it tells you how to train people ok well if you wasn't properly trained when you get hired how are you to train someone the proper ways .. the book doesn't say anything about what the proper ways to do things. i have trained in 2 areas neither time was a given training just put on that station and had to learn it(front of house and back of house). the managers are just see the money signs and the bonus they get in their checks for not giving out to many comp's among other factors. and if that store just opened it will only get worse. the one i work at was great when i started but now its a ### hole were no cares there is only a few of us who try to make good but its a losing battle... about to find another job

no she is right the one i work at i am asked to do that all the time but i never re fry something that has been served/ ate off of. i throw it away. ( i have my food sanitation license) i know better then to do that.. but the thing is if you are not sure about a sauce you are able to ask for a sample of that sauce before ordering it on your wings... esp if its a new sauce they are testing out... and my job has been threatened for wasting food because i won't re cook things ... but they have stopped were i work at due to that i threatened to make a formal complaint to the local health department

What did you expect to get out of emailing the CEO? Did you think she would personally call the manager in Crown Point, Indiana and say, "HEY, GIVE THIS PERSON A FREE MEAL!" If you never plan on going back then why go through all the trouble of emailing her? If anything, you should have contacted the owner(s) and I'm sure they would have told their manager to refund you.

Sally, this is an unusual request so please bare with me.

Not sure if you have heard of us or not but our legal names are Rock Star and Super Star. We changed our names to raise awareness to the ever growing issue of substance abuse amongst our youth here in this country. We have recently finished recording our debut album “Serenity”, (alongside members of Kiss, Heart, Goo Goo Dolls, etc) and are looking forward to its spring/summer release. It’s touted as the first ever Rock and Roll CD to combat the disease of addiction. Our goal with the CD is to send a strong message that living a life without drugs and alcohol is the only way to achieve your dreams and since we know there are kids who would rather listen to music than read a book, we are using music to reach them in the language they understand.

11 of the 12 songs are sobriety related however we saved one song that is to serve as a tribute to this great country, its armed forces, police, and firefighters. It is a patriotic rock song called National Anthem 2.0 and is performed by members of Trans-Siberian Orchestra and ourselves, created with the sincere sentiment toward our great nation. The song has already garnered some great reviews from so many of our military members and their families. We are all very excited about it. In fact, the song has already recieved interest from radio stations across the country and one town in Georgia will be playing the song to help welcome home members of the National Guard during their town’s parade in June!

Sally, as you know, schools across the country are cutting sports initiaves across the board. Recently in Chicago, the public school system decided to cancel all sophomore sport programs due to lack of funding. As you can imagine, this is tragic. Kids need sports in schools to help keep them stay off the streets and away from drugs. Buffalo Wild Wings (I am actually from Buffalo and thoroughly enjoy your wings!) restaurants scream great sportsmanship. This is why I am writing.

My brother and I have devised a marketing strategy utilizing the song that will enable sports teams affected by the recent Chicago Public Schools budget cuts to utilize it as a tool to raise funds to underwrite their teams’ costs. We have developed a very innovative and creative way to raise money unlike anything that has ever come before it with this song and would like to discuss with you the possibility to have BW3 help us on this endeavor. Our schools sports initiaves are so very important and we feel its our responsibility to do what we can to save them by any means possible.

I'm including a YouTube link to an HD version of National Anthem 2.0, which uses the song below.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FhvQdwAkpok

Is this something that you would consider?

Sincerely,

Kris Kancler (A.K.A Super Star)

We just had another awful experience at BWW and I wrote in a complaint as well. They screwed up my order last time and gave me a $10 credit. We went in tonight and my credit just magically disappeared and they had no record of it. Bunch of crock. Oh and by the way the food tonight tasted like $%&* and my waitress was rude. I have in mind to contact someone higher up on the food chain. LRX did anyone ever respond to you? ... and you other people leaving comments about unemployment and stuff need to then realize that the employees of BWW should feel lucky to have a job and treat their customers with some respect.

Buffalo Wild Wings refusal of service

On the evening of Friday Dec. 30th, I intended to treat my 3 year old daughter to a father/daughter restaurant night. What I got was an eventless evening of dissapointment and a belly full of disgust. I drove to the local Buffalo Wild Wings on Coulter st. and approached the door carrying my baby girl. When I got to the door I noticed two employees conversating while leaning against both doors. I waited a moment and the older caucasion worker acknowledged me and smiled. I smiled back and pulled the door. It appeared to be locked and the man shooed me away with his hand. I was cnfused by the unwelcoming so I tapped on the glass. All of a sudden he burst the door open, almost slamming into my 3 yr old daughter, with the man furious at my knock. "Na uh, You think you're somebody, Knocking on my door?"

Buffalo Wild Wings buffalo wild wings - awful customer service

Recently, a few friends and I had decided to go out to our local Buffalo Wild Wings restaurant for our friend's 21st birthday. We thought this would be a great place for us to get some food and drinks. We had all been there multiple times before and had no complaints. The night we decided to go there were a few different events going on- game, UFC, etc. We knew the restaurant would be busy and expected a longer wait for our party of 10. Half of our party arrived and put their information on the wait list and were told the wait would be 30 minutes, we thought this was reasonable and decided to wait. Later on, the rest of our party showed up, hoping for all of us to be seated shortly after their arrival. Half an hour went by and we were not seated. We asked the host how much longer they thought it would be and were quoted another hour wait. We wanted to stay as this was one of the only places that everyone agreed on. Our wait continued, an hour went by and frustrations were running high. Once the hour had gone by and it seemed as though nothing would be done about it (and after receiving rude remarks and attitude from the host/hostess) we asked for the manager. He came over to us and I decided to speak for all of us and let him know how frustrated we were that we had originally been told the wait would be half an hour, then an hour, and now 2 hours by the time I spoke with him. I complained about the awful host and hostess who continuously gave us attitude when we asked how much longer the wait could be, the fact that he had been told by his staff that we were "###" but did not come over and ask us what is going on how he can help. Instead of assuring us that we would be seated soon or he is sorry for the inconvenience, he dismissed my frustrations by stating that we were never told our wait would be 30 minutes, that he cannot seat a party of 10 on a busy night and said the following "What do you want me to do, tell people to finish their food and to get up and leave?". I attempted to explain to him what had happened and was continuously interrupted by him with my complaints dismissed by excuses as to why his staff was frustrated. The bottom line is... I don't care how frustrated or mad you or your staff gets, there is NO excuse for awful customer service or an attitude when we ask how long the wait could be. Yes, frustrations run high when you have hungry customers waiting to eat and asking how long it could be, but attitude and continuous glares and rude remarks are not acceptable from a restaurant. We left with the manager's card and the promise that we would all make complaints to corporate and he had no words for that. I will never go to this Buffalo Wild Wings location after experiencing such awful service, and without even being seated yet! The only way I will go to another Buffalo Wild Wings is at a different location with friendly staff!

Idk what the law is in Ohio, but in Indiana, if you are not 21, you CANNOT sit in a bar. Doesn't matter who you are with; under 21= no bars. Also, a "bad economy" is NOT an excuse for not tipping someone.

On the evening of Friday Jan 25, 2013, my son and his teammates gathered at the Wolfchase (Memphis, TN) location immediately following their basketball game to celebrate a great WIN. They were accompanied by 2-3 adults. After being seated, a Caucasian male waiter approached their table and stated he would need a credit card from someone at the table prior to taking orders because he “didn’t want them to walk out on him without paying and he had a family to feed.” Surprised at his statement, the team inquired further about this policy that was not posted publicly for customers. Within a few minutes of questioning the first waiter, a Caucasian female waiter appeared at the table and reiterated the unposted policy that she said was established by local management. The team requested to speak to a manager. After several minutes of waiting for the manager who never showed up, the team decided to leave without placing an order. A night that should have been a special evening for the team, turned out to be one they wish would never happen again. Businesses have the right to institute reasonable regulations that are rationally related to the services they provide, but most importantly, they must apply their policies equally to all patrons.

I contacted Amanda (manager) on Jan 26 and expressed my concerns of this negative experience. She extended an apology and suggested that she investigate the matter to “hear both sides of the story.” I have not heard back from Amanda after more than 24 hours. I assume her investigation is still in progress. I am looking forward to hearing the other side of the story and hopefully resolving this issue in an effort to allow me and my family to continue enjoying what we know can be a good experience at BWW.

Buffalo wild wings has awwwwful customer service. I'm a sales rep for a phone company, if I treated my consumers like this, I'd be out of a job! I've seen them react just as rudely here in Lima, Ohio. Me and my fiance` went in once, a waitress named Tabitha kept looking at me funny after she seated us. She asked us what we wanted to order, then she walked two booths behind us where the register is and said: "That guy is FINE as hell! He has a nice ###!" to one of her female coworkers and they giggled. They said it fairly loudly as well, so we could hear it. My fiance` wasn't tickled at all about the comment, and of course, did not tip her. Next time we went in, we had a different server who seemed polite at first, but as soon as we were seated, Tabitha came back around and told her "They never tip, they are awful customers, like, don't even worry about them." Again, loud enough for both of us to hear. Well again, we never confronted the girl on the comments (we don't like to cause a scene or even report people for immature comments, I guess we're not too confrontational), and again, we didn't tip (for the obvious). So we go again, I'm still in part of my BDU's after drill(I'm in the Army National Guard) and we sit down in the bar section this time hoping for a different server all together. Well, I am 27 years old, my fiance is 20 (just shy of 21) and I get up to go to the restroom. After I left for the restroom, the server who was friends with Tabitha that we had last time decided to walk up to my fiance` and say: "Are you 21? You can't sit here if you aren't 21." My fiance` replied with: "No, but my boyfriend is 27, and he's a veteran, so... what's the issue? He's in the bathroom." Tabitha's server friend replied "Well, you're going to have to move. You can't sit here." My fiance replies with: "He'll be back soon." She (the server snaps back) "Good for your army hero. Seriously. Get up and move, or I'll have to ask you to leave." She moved. I came back, shocked we were asked to move. I then finally confront the manager. The manager, who is one of my customers at our mobile phone store, corrects the problem and lets us sit back in the bar. So then our server comes back, being a smartass, making underlying comments about my uniform with comments like "Nice getup there." Before I moved to Lima, Ohio, I lived in Findlay, Ohio, and again, I was always judged by my services by the way I dressed, and if I dressed up in a tie, or in uniform, I was unprofessionally talked about loud enough to hear it. I understand the waitresses in Findlay were terrible, rude, and obnoxious and full of gossip, but the fact that it's like this in Lima as well? And I'm reading nothing but reviews about similiar problems? If I were someone in corporate, I'd be getting to the bottom of this. I think it would be a fantastic idea if more people took surveys on these waitresses. Buffalo Wild Wings needs to monitor their 'servers' better. The economy is awful, and not every person can afford to tip every time they go out. That is no reason to degrade and talk poorly of them, especially when the customer is being polite towards you.
In short: BW's, get your acts together, with other local resteraunts opening up that offer just as good of food, and far superior service, you'd better stop hiring employees just because they are young, female, and attractive. You should hire someone because they are good at their trade, not because they are good looking. You're going to run off all of your customers the more you hire in gynocentric and selfish waitresses. Enough said.

Buffalo Wild Wings management

I would just like to say that I love this location. The people that work here are always friendly to my family and friends that come here with me. There is one problem though. One of your managers there is very rude to his employees and you can tell because sometimes they look kind of flustered after he has spoken with them. I ordered a take out order last week and he was sitting down and he asked how I was doing. When I said I was doing fine I asked how he was doing and he said 'I'm doing ok considering I just got diagnosed with diabetes a couple of weeks ago' . Now I'm by no means saying I don't like the man, I don't know him, but I just think its kind of weird that he would tell a complete stranger that.

Buffalo Wild Wings harrassment

I had a bad experience on my daughters birthday and it has gotten worse since that day. I originally asked for a chair with a back for her birthday since she has a disability, but the server said that wasn't possible, yet they would not relocate us to a table that had a chair with a back. I was told to leave that day with my family prior to eating. Five months later I returned to meet a few friends and eat dinner. The server recognized me a immediately called management to our table. Again, I was asked to leave. What did I do? The manager said I threatened the server yet the five other people at my table suggested to have the server come to the table and resolve the issue. He told me to leave. I am being harrassed.

Your proof is in the comments you are receiving, examples of how people really are. Some of these people are just like your server. It’s unfortunate that things like this happen. However, I wouldn’t worry about it. Things always seem to work out bad for people like these, both mentally and physically.

i also feel that there is some very important missing components to why you were told to leave the first time. with that said and as bad as it may be, any establishment has the right to refuse service to anyone. is it possible that they are refusing service for the initial visit? i would say probably yes. but, we wouldnt know unless you let us in on the remaining portion of the story. but, as i always say, if the remaining portion of that story was told, it would be detrimental to the support of your complaint.

Buffalo Wild Wings discriminating

My son which is 18 yrs old and his girlfriend 16 yrs old. They wanted to go Buffalo Wild Wings to eat and they sat down at one of the booth. A waitress came over and ask to check their ID and told them that they can only order carry out. They can not serve them to eat in the restaurant because of their age policy. They said that because his girlfriend is 16 and she have to be accompany by an adult that is 18 and older. My son told her that he is 18. The waitress then change her answer and said "Ooooo...she have to be accompany by her parent or guardian. The policy posted by the door did not state that, It just said under 18 have to be accompany by an adult.

I can understand that if they were sitting in the bar area but not in the dining area. I got to a BWW all the time and there are always high school kids in the dining room area.

Buffalo Wild Wings harassment and racism

I was interviewed by the Bar Manager and General Manager at the new Buffalo Wild Wings in Ames, Iowa. They originally told me that I would be getting $8.50 plus tips (tip-share) as a part-time greeter/cashier. I took the job, and management told us through orientation that they would discuss tip-share after orientation was over, so I waited. In the meantime, I was harassed by a woman working as a trainer for corporate, she favored the younger (teenage) workers and looked the other way when they refused to do their jobs (mostly sidework.)Three workers (myself included) picked up the slack, cleaning toilets, rolling silverware, mopping the floor) because these girls would lie about doing it, or just not attempt to do it at all.

I was one of about six of older employees, and by the time I left all but two quit. I had regular comments about my age (I'm in my mid-twenties) and I was bullied about being "old" and it caused me quite a bit of stress, especially since the teenage girls (the majority of the employees) refused to work with me. I can understand that there will be some drama, clique behavior and fighting especially considering the environment, but I had so many teenage servers refuse to wait on customers (they would sent them back to the greeter/seater, telling them loudly that "they probably wouldn't tip, give them to someone else!" None of these girls were reprimanded.

The last straw was when I overheard my trainer use several racial slurs referring to asian-americans. My husband is asian, and so are a large portion of my family members. I decided that it wasn't a family environment and made plans to look for another job. However, pay was good - so I kept trying to convince myself to stay, and my husband supported my decision. Later on in the week, a couple of my cousins (of Laotian background) dined at Buffalo Wild Wings and the server jokingly made some off-color jokes about asian customers, and made a poor attempt at speaking mandarin saying gibberish such as "ching a ling a chong". They were offended and told me that the restaurant was horrible, they would never dream of going back.

By the time I was made aware of the treatment of my cousins, I was ready to leave. I got my paycheck and it was less than what I expected, I confronted my trainer about it, and she said that Buffalo Wild Wings never does tip-share because the poor waitresses (teenage girls she loved so much) only make so much money an hour. I know that, and they were aware of that upon hire. I have a lot of friends in the restaurant business. However, I was promised that tip-share would be included in my pay by both the General Manager and the Bar Manager, and nothing was done about it.

Due to all these problems and the amount of stress and unprofessional behavior, I ended up quitting. My friends and family refuse to dine in anymore and instead we opt to eat at home. I tried to get the number of Human Resources or corporate in order to file a proper complaint, but it was never posted anywhere in the restaurant.

Buffalo Wild Wings poor service, hair in food

There was a hair in my celery that came with my wings and the shift lead told me that the celery is complimentary and asked me what do I want to do about the hair. I was taken back at the fact that he told me a part of my meal was complementary then asked me what I wanted to be done with an attitude. I asked what is the company policy for hair found in food served to guest and he told me there is no such policy. He kept walking back and forth between our table and the Manager trying to figure out how to compensate us. I ran out of patience because he told me he would take of 15% of of $50 bill, came back and the discount totaled $47. Simple math, 10% of $50 is $5 which means he didn't even take off 5%. Then he came back and gave us separate receipts and the bill still added up to $47. Finally he came back with the bill and gave us $15 off. After waiting 10 minutes to get service for our drinks, waiting another 20 minutes for our food, then to be served the wrong order and have to wait another 10 minutes to get served a piece of hair on the side and have to jump thru hoops with a shift lead that has no idea how to deal with customers, yea I will NEVER go back to that BWW. I attached our receipts, I'm pretty pissed about the 48 hour cap on BWW's website for customer feedback! That's some BS!

Buffalo Wild Wings ridiculous prices

Let me start out by saying we love BW's. Just went last night to Buffalo Wild Wings in Oldsmar, Fl. First off our beer tasted like soap, obviously the 23 oz. glasses were not rinsed or washed properly. After we mentioned it ton the waitress they were taken off our bill (nice). We ordered 18 wings, split the flavors (nice). While waiting for our food I started calculating prices off of the menu. I was shocked and pissed at what I found. For 6 wings you are paying 88 cents a wing. For 12 wings your are paying 74 cents a wing, for 18 wings you are paying 77 cents per wing. These prices are RIDICULOUS. Can you imagine paying 88, 74, or 77 cents for a SINGLE chicken wing. While looking over the dollars rest of the menu you are hard pressed to find any entree under 8 dollars. We are eliminating Buffalo Wild Wings from our dining choices, simply because we can not justify paying this much to eat out. I will miss BW'S!

Keep in mind that every time you go to a restaraunt, you are paying for the staff wages and ambience as well. There is a reason for the mark-up.

Fine dining has certainly taken a hard hit in this economy. I'll be eating microwaved chicken wings and drinking warm miller cans underneath the freeway from now on.

Buffalo Wild Wings horrible service

I am writing a complaint to all the complaint boards, Buffallo Wilds Wings, Better Business Bureau, etc. I will continue to write until I get a resolution or get bored. I was not feeling well and my husband and I decided to order food in. We haven't had Buffalo Wild Wings in a long time so we decided to call in an order to go. When I called, I had asked for ranch dressing with the order as well as an extra blue cheese. The lady that took my order, Colleen, informed me that the extra blue cheese would cost me an extra $.60. It wasn't the cost that upset me, but the way she said it. It was as if I was going to decline the sauce and could not pay the extra $.60. It was quite demeaning but I shrugged it off and told her that it was no problem. I wanted the extra blue cheese sauce. She said that we could pick it up in 10 min. My husband left to go pick up the order. Eventhough, we live in the next city over from the establishment, it was Sat. night and traffic is horrible around the mall which is where they are located. It took my husband 1 hour to go there and pick up the order and return with it. I was starving having not eaten anything all day because I was sick. Much to my surprise, when I opened the food, the extra blue cheese was not there and they had given my Southwestern Ranch as opposed to the regular ranch. I'm used to restaurants not checking orders and getting them wrong. I'm not oblivious to this at all. I then pulled the receipt and realized that they charged me the extra $.60 for the extra blue cheese sauce. That's when I needed to call the establishment and complain. Mind you, if Colleen did not make it such a big deal when I ordered the sauce, I don't think I would have called them back. I mean, really, what are they going to do for me that is going to help me in eating my food at the moment? Nothing. However, I was so mad at the initial implication that I could not afford to pay the extra $.60 that I really could not stand by and let it go. When I called, Colleen answered the phone. I had told her what had happened and she was so non-challant about it that it drove me nuts. I just wanted her to know that she messsed up and that this was not good for business. She never admitted to anything. Nor did she apologize. Again, not surprised. It was a restaurant and I really don't expect much. What escalated the call was when she blamed my husband for the order being wrong. She actually said that your husband should have checked the order before he left and made sure it was correct. That put my brain in full gear. She had asked me earlier if I wanted to talk to a manager and I declined. However, now, I did want to talk to a manager. That's when I got lovely Lisa on the phone. She claims to be a manager. Again, I use the word manager very loosely. She apologized for Colleen and then in the middle of the conversation said to me again, "we go over the order with the customer before they leave and they initial that everything is correct." I asked my husband and he said that they never took anything out of the bag. They simply pointed to everything and he specifically asked about the sauces and the person, I'm assuming was Colleen, pointed to the box with the sauce and said that it was in the container. Yes, he signed and returned home. She offered me a $10 food credit for the next time that we were there. A $10 credit? I never wanted to go there again. They were rude, insulting and down right abusive. Lisa asked what else she could do for me. I simply stated that it's not about what she can do for me at the moment. I was not about to run out and get sauces so I could eat my food. It was about how they are treating customers. If she was the manager, she should know this. I told her to mail me the $10 credit because I never want to go in that particular location ever. After, about 5 min. of her not responding, I get a "hello" on the other end. It was the owner of the establishment. Now I really need to say something here. I know that you do not have to have any customer service knowledge or appreciate the service industry to own a restaurant. However, this particular individual, refused to give me his name, was the most arrogant, rude, inconsiderate and abusive individual I have ever dealt with in a customer service capacity. He would not let me get a word in and when I asked for his name so I can include it in my letter, he said, "letter, what letter. Who do you think you are going to write a letter to?" When I told him corpoarte and the Better Business Bureau, he laughed and with another arrogant tone said, "I'm it lady. There is no one above me. I am the owner." I replied, "Isn't this a franchise? I can write a letter to corporate." He said, "Yes it's a franchise, but don't bother writing a letter because they are going to send it to me anyway." After a couple of more minutes of his abuse, he finally said the thing that was the last straw for me. He said, "what is it you would like us to do, throw Colleen out in the street so you can run her over with your car?" That was it. I was speechless. I really could not believe how this phone call escalated so badly. I was offended and told him so and he simply said, "This call has lasted long enough." Then all I heard was a click. Wow. I have only written 2 complaint letters in my life. This is the 2nd one. So, you know that this was a horrible experience that I needed to share. After that grueling 15 min. call, my food was cold and I wound up throwing it in the garbage. It was disgusting. I don't know if the food just tasted bad because it was cold by then or if I just couldn't stomach eating it after all that. Nonetheless, I will write a letter to corpoate BWW a week until I get an apology and a credit for the food that was thrown out.

I simply told her to mail me the $10 credit. I didn't want to go back to that location. That's when she gave me the owner who just kept yelling and insulting me. He didn't know the difference in the sauces. Sorry, my husband eats everything plain. He doesn't know the difference between ranch and blue cheese.

This is the most absurd thing I have ever read in my life. I work at this location. Management was willing to give you a $10 credit (for that location only. It's written down in a book. It's not a check for $10 so I'm not sure how she would mail it to you.) This was a $.60 mistake and they were going to give you $10. Not sure what the problem was. And by initialing that everything is correct they technically don't have to do anything for you. so unless you expected the owner to hand you the store I'm not sure what you were looking for. clearly you complained just to complain and they were more than fair with your reimbursement for our mistake.

She did not insult you by informing you there was an extra charge for additional sauces. How in the world did you perceive that this was some kind of implication that you could not pay for it? It is a courtesy to explain charges to a customer so they are not surprised at the total. It actually sounds like you should be sending Colleen and Lisa an apology letter for taking up their time with something so petty. It appears from reading your story that they went above and beyond to attempt to satisfy you but they could not. This is the type of ridiculous situation that makes people who deal with the public jaded very quickly. The owner stepped in when his employees needed him to and you got an earful. Was it really worth all of this for 60 cents? I guess so.

Buffalo Wild Wings awful food and service

Buffalo Wild Wings just opened in Mt. Vernon, I'll and my husband and I decided we would try it on my birthday. It happened to be new years eve so we figured it would be busy. We only had to wait about 20 minutes to be sat, but it took at least 5 minutes before we were greeted by our server, Hannah L. We told her we wanted the appetizer sampler to start then we would order after we got that. It took 15 minutes for us to get our watered down draft beers. During the time we were waiting for our app, our server was sitting in a booth next to us eating off of a customers plate, which was not appropriate! About 20 minutes after ordering, apparently a friend of. Our server came in and sat at a table next to us. They got their food before we got our appetizer. About 45 minutes after ordering, we got our CO
LD appetizer. At that point we had nothing to drink, were missing things off of our app and had no plates to eat off of. 10 minutes later the server came to check on us to get us the rest of our stuff. At this point I told her we needed our check. The total was about $17 nd my husband put down a twenty. Instead of her saying she will be right back with the change, she asked do you need your change back? I'm sorry but you don't ask for a tip!
There were two shift leaders or managers there but I didn't see them stopping at ANY tables checking on customers! I've told everyone I know to not ever go there! This was by far the worst dining experience I have ever had or seen. And I served for 4 years so I have seen some bad ones! I will never go to the Mt. Vernon Buffalo Wild Wings again!
