I rented a car in Phoenix, Arizona to drive to San Diego, Ca. I was quoted $1.98 a gallon if I took the Gas Service Option which is a prepaid tank of gas. I took the option because in San Diego gas is higher. I come to find out that there is an 18.55% city and county sales tax added to the cost of the gas making the price $2.35 a gallon. This was never told to me by Budget. If I had know I would never of taken this Gas Service Option as the real cost of their gas is a lot more. Beware! this is a bad deal and Budget will not make good on it. They just lost a customer for their false and misleading sales.
