Brown Mackie College - Biggest Mistake

Brown Mackie is not who they say they are. I graduated from the Vet Tech program less than 9 months ago and have nothing to show for it. No jobs and no leads. I have had interviews and work interviews, but they never lead anywhere and at a couple of them I overheard and was told directly that they don't usually hire Brown Mackie Students. The teachers in the program are awesome, but in order for them to get paid they also have to act like Brown Mackie has a good rep. They would always say how well respected they were in the community and how they are AVMA accredited, but I have doubts that they are. I am still doing more research to see what I can find, but I do know and was told directly from the Head of Department Chair of the Vet Tech program that the majority of my graduating class from that program have to pass the VTNE (Vet Tech National Exam) otherwise they will lose their accreditation. Well, I took it at the same time everyone else did and only two of us passed out of about fifteen. I haven't heard the latest new on how that affected them, but I am going to find out. There is not way that a student can retain a semester's worth of information in just one month and is the reason why not other school runs their programs like that. It's just not possible and will stress you out to the max just trying to keep up. Working with animals is the only thing I ever thought about doing and it makes me so mad that I wasted 2 years on this with nothing to prove and no respect for what I though I accomplished. I'm also mad at myself for not taking the time to do the research on this school before I applied, but when you are just excited to get the life you always wanted going you don't really take the time to stop and ask questions first. I am pursuing a lawsuit which is why I am doing my research. If anyone else has more information or wants to help please let me know. You can email me at [protected]@aol.com.

Brown Mackie College - Worthless School

I have been in touch with a lawyer and he says that I have a good case. I know there are several others interested in a class action lawsuit. I really think we can pull this together. Please feel free to contact me at [protected]@yahoo.com. Please read my complaint listed under brizi37. I attended the Brown Mackie Campus in Cincinnati.

Brown Mackie College - Worthless School/College

I was a full time student attending the Veterinary Technician Program at Brown Mackie College in Cincinnati. First off, it would have taken me just 2 months shy of 3 YEARS to graduate their program because of all the BS they put me through and they kept failing me in my classes so they could get more money out of me. Then when I was finally at a place I really liked doing my externships, they decided to KICK ME OUT OF MY PROGRAM over a mistake! Hey, is'nt that why we are in school; to learn...So now I am about $30, 000 in debt in student loans, and probably spent close to $10, 000 out of my own pocket and have nothing to show for it. Then to add salt to the wound, when I went to "sign" my "dismissal" papers (which I feel I was forced to sign), they tried to transfer me into another program! How nice of them! So they could get more money out of me. Whoever wrote the post on wanting to see about bringing on a class action law suit, I saw lets bring it on [censored]es!
