Boutique To You will not give credit or refund

I purchased items from Boutique To You.com for a few years. Over the course of my experience, I had returned items within their allotted timeframe requesting for a store credit which I was issued in the amount of $91.50 and was never told (nor does it state) that there is a time frame in which to use the credit.

Today I phoned the customer service hotline to receive the promotion code so that I could purchase an item and the individuals to whom I spoke would not issue me this credit because they stated that the company was sold and they no longer honor this credit.

There was no information provided to customers that this company had been purchased and they would no longer accept credits, nor do they state any of this in their return policy which is stated online and below.

OVERVIEW

Boutique To You will accept returns and exchanges within 14 days.

If you are not satisfied with your online purchase, please follow our guidelines for returns:

Please confirm your items are eligible for return (Final sale merchandise is not eligible for return or exchange).

All returns must be postmarked within 14 days of receipt. Returns sent after this time will not be accepted.
Merchandise must be unworn and unwashed.
Merchandise must have all tags attached
All footwear returns must include the original shoebox in its original condition.
We are not responsible for damages that occur during care of an item, such as dry cleaning, washing or wear.
We do not accept returns or exchanges on custom-made or special order items, undergarments, or sale merchandise. These types of sales are final. Any merchandise marked "Final Sale" cannot be returned.

RETURN EXCLUSIONS

Returns are not permitted on the following items:

Sale Items
Special Orders
Swimwear
Undergarments
Hair Accessories
Hats
Bodysuites
Earrings
Please be advised that items that do not conform to the above guidelines are not returnable. They will be returned to you at your expense.

US HASSLE FREE RETURNS

Returns for store credit and exchanges will be processed free of charge. Returns for a refund to your original payment method (i.e. credit card, Paypal) will require a processing fee of $8.00, which will be deducted from the amount refunded to you. Original shipping charges will not be refunded.

A pre-paid, pre-addressed UPS return label is included in your order. Affix the UPS label to your package, be careful to remove or cover the original shipping label. You will receive a notification when your return has been processed. This service is available within the continental US only.

DAMAGED/INCORRECT ITEMS

If you receive an item that is defective, damaged or incorrect, you must notify us via email within 5 business days of receiving the merchandise. Please keep the original box and packaging materials in the case of damage. We will email you a UPS label for returning the merchandise. A replacement will be sent, if available, upon receipt–with the condition that merchandise has not been worn or washed with all tags attached.

Boutique To You Customer service

I ordered an item and they sent the wrong thing. I wrote the same day and followed their directions to send it back the next morning, exactly as received. I wanted an exchange for the item I had ordered. They refunded my card, MINUS $8 for shipping! I wrote to ask why they charged me for their error and hadn't sent the correct item, as it was still listed as available on their site. They never responded. Their phone is never answered; I tried at all times. You can't even leave a message - it just says they are "helping someone else - call back later." Too bad. I had bought from them in the past and now they lost a customer. The place is fine, until there is a problem ... Never again!

Error correction: the site is based in California, not "California, Maryland"!

Boutique To You Terrible Clothing Store and Shady!!!

I have to tell you that boutique to you is a terrible store. I had a bag fall apart and they would not take responsibility and I complained to the brand of the bag, and THEY ended up giving me a credit, not boutique to you, but the BRAND of the bag, which was linea pelle. So, if you hate stores that do not take merchandise back, which boutique to you will not take any handbags back at all, and damaged definately they will not take back even if it falls apart, never ever order from boutique toyou.com. I ordered from there for like a year and this happens one time and now I am done with that place. Also I had a scarf on backorder and they charged me RIGHT WHEN I ORDERED IT and didn't ship it till 3 months later! They made excuses every single week as to why it wasn't coming and said it would come the next week when it wasn't! It's illegal to charge before you ship out! Just a warning.

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!
I bought a clothing, and got something has problem.
So I let them know and then they said, that's wierd.
They never said SORRY! They gave me Two options, one is giving me discount, the other is replacement.
So I returned my clothing and waited, but they gave me store certificate without any notice! even they less shipping fee-

OMG- Terrible customer service ever- I can't believe it.
Never use boutiquetoyou.com in Arizona.
