Bojangles’ International / Becajun.com employee

An employee by the name of Kadazha Berger at the rustburg Va Bo'Jangles was very rude. She also proceeded to take her clothes off and strip at the front register. She also had a cup labeled "tips".

The manager by the name of Occtavia Hairston yelled at me across the Bo'Jangles parking lot.

I have NEVER seen such behavior in my life and I hope something will be done.

Bojangles’ International / Becajun.com cajun fillet biscuit

I got my food from the bojangles in Aylett VA this morning and my chicken biscuit was completely uncooked. The meat was cold, slimy, and purple. I took it back inside and they apologized and remade my biscuit however this isn't the first time my food has been uncooked at this brand newly opened Bojangles. They need to pay very close attention to how well the food is cooked before serving it to customers as the biscuit I received this morning could make me seriously ill. Uncooked chicken carries bacteria that is very dangerous if consumed.

Bojangles’ International / Becajun.com management

I visited rhe store on Bessemer Road in Gastonia N.C on 02/05/2017. As I entered the store I noticed an employee smoking by the door. I proceeded to order. The employee came in and did not wash her hands and put her cup by food that was being served. The cup had been sitting on the sidewalk when I walked past her. I asked could she throw her cup away and the girl helping me told her what I said. She got loud and said it's my cup so I said it's against health codes to eat or drink around food being prepared and she caught an attitude. I was going to ask for a refund but the 2 young ladies helping me were veey polite. I told her that I was going to call corporate and the health department. This is one of the nastiest and dirtiest stores in our area. It needs to be remodeled or demolished. The manager Joe heard what was going on and did not say a word or ask me what was wrong. He seem to look as he was not interested in the store. His work appearance was not up to management and he could use extra training. I will not be returning back to this location and will tell as many people as I can about my experience at this location.

If there is an issue with the manager's attendance it'll be addressed by the company. You can't know if she manages multiple stores or has personal issues to deal with. If you wish to speak with her you could ask that they have her call you or you could attempt to call her yourself.

Bojangles’ International / Becajun.com chicken

I'm really disappointed on recieving hair on my chicken apart from that the workers were about to not give us our biscuits that were already paid for, they were rude, and they also took forever on just giving me my food. I hate to say that this isn't my first time recieving bad food, the first time I did I let them slide with the undercooked chicken even though I had diarrhea from that but this is far from enough.

Bojangles’ International / Becajun.com supreme combo

On February 4th, I went to Bojangles to get me a chicken supreme combo. Once I got my food I went home. I did not open the box until I got home. Once I got home and open the box I start to smell an odd smell. That's when I realize that they had cooked the chicken tenders in old oil. I tried to eat it but the smell was very strong and it was too late for me to take i.

Bojangles’ International / Becajun.com no pies cooked

I have been loving Bojangles chicken for years! I lived in Ky., but the company I worked for was based out of NC. So every time I would go south I stop a Bo. and eat. I have never liked sweet potato pie until I tried it at Bo. and loved it. From that point forward I would always order two for leaving.

When it was announce that we were getting a Bo. in Versailles, Ky. I was excited! Even though it's a 30 minute drive from me I go at least once a week. The problem is every time I have been there they never have pies prepared. I'm told it will be 10 minutes. I'm on my lunch and do not have an extra 10 minutes to wait. As I stated it takes 30 minutes to get there. Out of all the Bo I have visited this is the only one that never have pies ready to go! They recently opened a new one in Winchester, Ky. which is also a distant from me but the one time I went, they had cooked pies. HAVE PIES READY!

Bojangles’ International / Becajun.com biscuit

My husband visited Bojangles Friday morning in Denton. He ordered BEC biscuit combo. Ate his bo rounds on way to work. When he got to work to eat his biscuit (he always looks at his food before he eats it and I'm glad he did this time 'especially')he found a noticeable sliver of metal on the edge of the egg about 1/2 inch long. I couldn't imagine if he ate that and it got stuck in mouth or throat. He works alone most of the time and no one was there to call 911 or assist him if needed. That could have been life threatening or major surgery. Time out of work. Something we do not need know. He has a wife and two kids. How could this have happened. It's noticeable enough it should have been spotted. When I returned the biscuit the manager glanced at it and put it in the trash, wrote down my husband's name for him to get a free bec biscuit and said she apologizes for that. That's it! Not acceptable to us. We've found hairs in our food. Sometimes things go by but this could have been really serious. I would expect more after something like this being pointed out.

Bojangles’ International / Becajun.com wait times

I frequent the bojangles on university parkway in winston salem, NC ... the service is ALWAYS terrible... average wait time in drive thru is about 10 to 12 minutes .. average wait time inside for dining in...20 to 30 minutes... and it keeps getting worse . Heaven forbid you order a cheddar-bo ..you get huffing and eye rolls followed by the speech that it will take at least 10 minutes wait time for that. Resulting in changing my order, even though cheddar-bo is the only reason I choose bojangles over other places. Management is rude and the atore in general is filthy.. usually if i have time I drive to the neighboring town of King, NC where serbice is much better. Sad though that I can't support our local restaurant for lack of care or concern...
The store # is 000282.. 5918 University parkway Winston Salem, NC 27105 ...

Bojangles’ International / Becajun.com service

I walked into the Bojangles in Greeneville Tn, around 930 a.m. on 12/27/16 and after ordering I was, once again, completely offended and quite frankly, disgusted by the way the general manager "Kurt" was speaking and treating his employees. I find it hard to believe that you keep any of your employees. I have witnessed this manager on more than one occasion, berate and belittle the employees in front of customers. He will get right in their faces and yell at them. This is completely unprofessional and unacceptable. I have spoken to other customers while this was happening and I believe we will be taking our business someplace else. I don't think I can sit and watch this manager do this anymore. I do enjoy having breakfast at Bojangles, but I cannot witness this any longer. Thank you for your time.

Bojangles’ International / Becajun.com the bojangles on belair rd. (steak biscuits 2 for 3.33)

Asked for 2 of the steak biscuits for 3.33, and add egg and cheese. The lady at the window said she couldn't do it like that. I had to pay full price. 2 for 7.73 when I could have paid 5.53 which is still high. But I just love your steak egg and cheese. No one beats it. So how come I couldn't just add the egg and cheese for 2.20 more? Doesn't sound fair.

Bojangles’ International / Becajun.com service

On Wednesday, 08/17/16 I stopped by my local Bojangles in Kernersville, NC located off NC Hwy 66, Store#000407 to get some food. I normally eat there 2 -3 times per week. I recently started having long wait times going through the drive thru ordering and actually getting my food. I am not sure what changed but I have never had these issues and have been going there for years.
On Wednesday, I drove up to the drive thru lane and started getting ready to order. It was 5:48 pm and I know because I looked at the clock in my car as I was thinking I hope I don't have to wait long as I have things to do. There was one car in front of me but he was at the window waiting to receive his food. I could see one other car ahead of him waiting off to the side, turns out they were waiting for someone to bring out their food. So a total of 2 cars ahead of me. The parking lot had a few cars but the place was definitely not busy.
As I sit in my car at the speaker/order board waiting for someone to greet me nothing happened. I sat for 5 minutes and no one greeted me or even asked for my order. There was not a sound. While waiting to order, I noticed there were now several cars behind me lining up to order after me. Finally, after 5 minutes and not a word, one of the cars behind me started honking their car horn so much that I finally said Hello? into the speaker/order board. I then hear a female voice say "Go Ahead" and that was it. I thought what? how rude but went on to place my order. I ordered something straight off the Bojangles menu. I did not change anything or order anything special. I asked for a "Cajun Chicken Filet Club Sandwich Combo". The girl gave me a price and I drove up to the second window as no one was at the first window to take my payment. As I sit at the window, no one comes to the window to assist me or take my money. Another 5 minutes goes by then finally a young girl opens the window says nothing and I hand her my Debit Visa card to pay for my food. She runs the card and hands it back still saying nothing. She closes the window again and I sit another few minutes until she opens the window and hands me my drink them a box of food and closes the window still saying nothing. She did not apologize for the long wait or say anything! As she hands me the box of food I am thinking what in the world? I order this combo meal every time I come here and it has never been in a box. Hmmmm...I open the box and inside is some sort of wrap and a bag of fries. I immediately put my arm out my window with the box in my hand as to give her the food back because it is not what I ordered. She saw me and opened the window. I tell her that this is a wrap and I did not order this food. I ordered a "Cajun Chicken Filet Club Sandwich Combo". This girl replies that is a cajun chicken filet sandwich combo. I said no it is not. She said we can't take the food back for safety health reasons. Then this girl says in a very snotty and rude way "Well you said a wrap!" and slammed the window shut in my face! I replied through the window I did not say wrap. I have never ordered a wrap and I eat here all the time. By this time, I am in shock! How dare you speak to me and treat me in this manner and try to argue with me especially after I have been in this drive thru line over 10 minutes. The rudeness started from the jump start by me waiting forever to place my order and you not even asking how you can help me or even what I would like to order! Now you are trying to argue with me about what I said or what I ordered? I think I know what I want to eat and what I ordered. I order the same thing every time I come here. So now I am getting frustrated as I have been here waiting forever, trying to get my food now over 10 minutes and you hand me a box and the wrong food. Are you for real and treating me this way? I understand people make mistakes but you apologize for the wait and apologize for the wrong order. What you don't do is be snotty and argumentative to the customer who ultimately pays your wages. I have done nothing but be nice and patient but now my patience is wearing thin and you are not going to treat me this way! I understood she could not take the food back for health reasons so I sit the box in my passenger seat and wait some more. I am thinking now that I have face to face told this girl what I ordered she will bring it and I will be on my way. That was hopeful thinking.
The window opens again, the girl hands me a bag and says nothing then closes the window. I sit at the window and open the bag to make sure it is right. I open the wrapper and can't believe my eyes! It is a piece of chicken on a biscuit! WHAT! I think to myself...this is on your freaking menu! DO you not know your own Bojangles menu? What is the problem? What is your malfunction? By this time, I am getting heated and very hungry! Are you serious right now? I gave her the benefit of the doubt maybe she could not hear me the first time through the order board but now I have told you directly to your face what I want and ordered a "Cajun Chicken Filet Club Sandwich Combo". This is now the 2nd food I have that is not correct so I sit it in my passenger seat and wait for the girl to see me and open the window. I sit for another few minutes then finally she opens the window again. There is now a long line of cars behind me. Once again, I tell her this is not what I ordered and I say I ordered a "Cajun Chicken Filet Club Sandwich Combo". This girl says that is a sandwich in a snotty tone. I say NO! This is a piece of chicken on a biscuit not a sandwich! It was a biscuit and there was no bun and this is not what I ordered! I said I am not arguing with you just get my food! This disrespectful young incompetent girl with a bad attitude has pushed me so much I am getting angry at this point. You can only push a person so far. This is ridiculous! This girl has been rude to me for the last time! All I want is my food and to leave this place and not come back ever again at this point!
The assistant manager Shane overhears me and comes over to the window. He does not ask how can he help me. Shane does not ask what is the problem. He does not apologize for the rude incompetent girl or the long wait of now almost 15 minutes just to get 1 combo meal. Shane's first words to me are "Please lower your voice maam people make mistakes". I guess he was more concerned about the whole 2 people inside hearing me than he was about solving the problem. I replied I understand that but this is twice (2 mistakes) not to mention I have been trying t get my food now over 15 minutes so what is your excuse for that? I ask him his name as I look at his badge on his chest and then tell him that I am calling his corporate office and letting them know how they are talking to me and treating me and this whole ordeal. I start telling him that I come here all the time and order the same thing and have never had any problems or issues till today. As I am speaking these words, this assistant manager Shane, tells this young girl to close the window in my face and turns around with his back to me and walks away. This young girl then proceeds to SLAM the window in my face as I am speaking to them! ARE YOU SERIOUS? I AM IN DISBELIEF, INSULTED AND HORRIFIED! IS THIS PROFESSIONAL BEHAVIOR? NO! IS THIS THE REPUTATION YOU WANT FOR YOUR BOJANGLES BRAND? I WOULD HOPE NOT. IS THIS HOW YOU TREAT YOUR LOYAL CUSTOMERS? NOT AT ALL! I AM APALLED!
I start to look down at my phone and I am looking for the Bojangles Corporate phone number because all I can think about at this point is that someone higher up the chain needs to know how these 2 employees are treating your customers and how I do not want anyone else to go through this treatment. All of the sudden the window opens up again and the girl hands out another bag (the 3rd) and says nothing to me. No apology. NOTHING! She then closes the window and walks away. Once again I sit there and open the wrapper to reveal a chicken sandwich. Yay! Your getting closer but still not what I ordered! It is a piece of chicken on a bun with mayonnaise and a piece of old crappy brown lettuce. I sit there and wait again until the girl opens the window once more. The assistant manager is nearby and I tell her this is still not what I ordered. I ordered a "Cajun Chicken Filet Club Sandwich Combo". At this point it has been 15 minutes and I am fed up, hungry, frustrated, irritated, appalled and cannot believe this is actually happening. Am I in an alternate universe? Does this girl not know the Bojangles menu? Can she not hear the words coming out of my mouth? God please tell me! I now have a box and 2 bags of food in my passenger seat and none of them what I ordered. The assistant manager says what are you missing? OK. so now he don't know the menu either? I the customer am telling your employees what comes on the combo meal I ordered. Come on! I tell him what comes on the cajun chicken filet club sandwich. I tell him there is no cheese, there is no bacon, there is no tomato on this food she just gave me. Shane says I will go back and make it myself. I say thank you. They close the window and walk away. I cannot believe this whole nightmare is really happening and I also cannot believe the people behind me are actually waiting but then I realize they can't go anywhere unless they jump the curb possibly damage their vehicles to get out of line and drive off.
I wait and wait some more until finally the window opens one more time. The girl hands me the bag and once again says nothing to me then closes the window and walks away. I open the wrapper and thank you Jesus! They finally got the sandwich right! I drive off a very disappointed, exhausted, hungry and dissatisfied customer with a bad taste in my mouth for Bojangles! I start thinking I can't believe I paid for this food after all this and over 15 minutes!
I want my money back! $6.61. I want some sort of disciplinary actions taken by Bojangles management towards the young girl and the assistant manager Shane. This is not acceptable behavior and is not how you treat a customer much less your loyal customers. If you decide to keep them employed, I want them both to be required to go through customer service training and training on the Bojangles menu. I want them to understand you do not argue and disrespect your customer that way. I think Shane was not being a leader/assistant manager as he did not teach or lead by example and told her to close the window in my face. Shane did not try to satisfy me or shoot even ask what the problem was he just immediately gave an excuse of everyone makes mistakes. Shane did not try to problem solve, take care of me the customer or make me happy and want to come back. He was also quite rude! After this whole nightmare ordeal I realized neither one of them ever apologized for my long wait time, for getting my food wrong not once, twice or three times or apologize for any of it. I GOT NOTHING! I lost almost 20 minutes of my life dealing with these rude incompetent employees of Bojangles! I live 5 minutes away and when I got home I had to heat up my fries. Needless to say they were not good. My total nightmare experience almost 20 minutes and you are supposed to be a "fast food" restaurant.
This nightmare has left a bad taste in my mouth so to speak about Bojangles now. I am pretty sure I will not be going back to that Bojangles ever again if any Bojangles. I am so very disappointed. I feel it is my obligation to let you know my experience. I really hope and pray that this does not happen ever again but from what I experienced I am pretty sure it will if it hasn't already. No one deserves to be treated this way! NO ONE! I will more than happy to discuss this with you by phone or in person. I really think both of these individuals do not need to be working and interacting with the public at all! I came home and sat the food on my counter and took a picture. I have attached the picture t this letter. I was in such disbelief! Was this for real? Did this really happen? WOW! How are you going to make this right? Do you actually care about your customer like you claim? Feel free to contact me at [removed]. My 1st ticket #459340 at 5:54 pm.

Sincerely,
A concerned citizen and former loyal customer,
Chrystal Dickey

The cashier was ringing up customer and fixing food without washing her hands. The manager name Sarah was in the back fixing food and on the phone at the same time and never change her gloves after she was done on the phone she started fixing someone food. I had to wait for 15 minutes just for some mac and cheese and i didn't like the service at all. The place just nasty.

Bojangles’ International / Becajun.com drive thru service

I recently stopped at the local Bojangles on my way to work. The are usually pretty efficient at the drive thru, however this morning that were extremely slow and it has happened continuously since.
pulled up about 6:15 a.m. behind another car and a truck at the speaker waiting to order. After sitting there for over 5 minutes without the truck at the speaker even moving or ordering I pulled out and went down the paved road behind the store and pulled in the Burger King . After pulling around the Burger King I ordered at the speaker, pulled to the drive thru window and paid for my order. After receiving my food as I was about to drive away I looked across at the Bojangles as the drive thru was in sight. The truck that had been in front of me when I originally pulled in there at the drive thru, was just pulling away as I had gotten my order at the Burger King. Seriously? It's a DRIVE THRU, and supposed t be a convenience! Really now, that totally ridiculous!

Bojangles’ International / Becajun.com poor service

The employees are genuinely nice, however, they are always scatter brained, never can hear anything at the drive thru, hang up on you if you call them on the phone, and seem irritated if it takes you more than a couple of seconds to decide what you want to order. The food is usually fresh and good. Normally, you pay for better service. The prices at Bojangles seem to be at a price point to include decent service. After at least 20 visits with the same consistent poor service, I will stick with Zaxby's in the future.

Bojangles’ International / Becajun.com poor work ethic

1/01/2014 - Present (10/17/2015) I've been going to this Bojangles and spending money for over a decade as it is near my work. The employees have always been very friendly and the food has always been good, which is why I kept going there. Within the past year the only person I've encountered in the drive through was, for lack of a better word, an insufferable woman. At first, I assumed she was just having a bad day, maybe a bad month, it happens...but going on a year and this woman's attitude has declined to the point where I literally lose my appetite upon hearing her angrily SHOUT the Bojangles greeting at me through the drive through speaker. I immediately feel as if I have done something wrong and offensive just by pulling up to the drive through and making her speak to me. Then every step of ordering my food is met with a hostile tone. Today when I went (for probably the last time) same thing, practically yelled the greeting at me, then when I asked for BoRounds she got aggravated and very rudely told me I would have to wait if I wanted them, I replied that I didn't mind waiting which seemed to be an unacceptable answer as she continued to get more "huffy" with me. I suggest your company offer her a different position, perhaps one where she never has to speak to the public. Perhaps this will irritate her less and hopefully she will become a more pleasant person. I work in customer service 6 days a week and it is highly annoying to me that someone is getting paid to be visibly upset about their job. No one likes working, but that terrible attitude isn't going to fix that fact.

Bojangles’ International / Becajun.com lazy employees

We always use this restaurant the day we leave from vacation so I won't have to clean up the kitchen. We walked into the restaurant (on Sept. 13th) and 2 employees were sitting at a table talking. This is the Bojangles located at the entrance to Tanger Outlet Center and in the same shopping center location as Walmart. One employee was a black young man and a white young lady. It turned out that the lady had just finished her shift and was getting ready to leave but the boy was on duty. A girl named Tonya waited on us but she was doing the drive through window and the front by herself and the boy would not come to help. 4 customers were in at the same time as us at about 6:20 am. More came in after us.
We had to wait at least 5 minutes to get our order taken because Tonya was running around doing everything. She had to get a customer at the drive thru right after waiting on the couple in front of us. After we got our order we sat down and listened to the two employees laughing and having a good time. The girl got up to leave and so did the boy but he went outside to smoke. We left at 6:50 and the boy came back in and went back to work. My question would be what hours does he work that he could take a 30 min break at before 6:20 in the morning. They were all sitting at the table when we walked in so I don't know how long they were there. I worked in retail for 15 1/2 years and a 30 min. was a lunch break. We only got 15 minute breaks otherwise. We asked the girl if she was working alone and she said "sort of".

I have two different opinions on this. #1 if there is more to the story then you should have told it. #2 if that is all that happened, I think that you should go to your states Labor Board or the Bojangles' Corporation.

Have a nice Day!

Bojangles’ International / Becajun.com bad attitude

My sister and I was in downtown charlotte today and decided to stop by the bojangles at the transit center. We noticed that the line was moving a little slow the cashier seemed friendly untill we got to the register and caught an attitude ffrom the cashier that was working. We had to tell her our order multiple of times before she evn got it somewhat right. My sister was trying to tell her wat she would like to have to dink and the cashier wanted to smack her teeth and roll her eyes. We finally got our food. My thing is wether it be in charlotte or the next city and state if u dont like ur job or if u dont wont it please leave and let someone have it that needs it and wants it. It made me feel like I was bothering her to place an order. Needless to say illl never go back to that bojangles again im so discusted with the service that I was given.
