I bought three pieces of jewelry fome BMNY JEWELRY that was suppose to be sterling silver with 14k gold. They was advertiseing over $100.00 each. But he was selling them in bigK MART STORE in sevierville, tenn.I bought all three pieces for $40.00.But I did not get the jewelry he was showing instead he had them in little pouches and in plastic zip lock bags.I was the only one to buy at the end of day.He said he was tired and his job was boring he was calling it a day.And he left within two or three mins.I took the jewelry out to show some one in the store and behold it was not the same piecies of jewelry he showed. This jewelry I got stuck with was fake and looked like something comes out of a bubble gum machine. The sales man was suppose to been back the next day.But he did not come back.THIS KIND OF SALES IS WRONG ! I paid for better jewerly.I have that company guarantee for the jewelry. But they need to refund my money

My daughter gave me a bracelet from BMNY for Xmas and it is missing a stone. I have called the number on the warranty 4 times but to no avail. I left messages 4 times with my complaint and phone number but no one has returned my call. Is this a scam? Lynne

Steven,
We offer a full refund anytime after the purchase. If you have product that is new and would like to exchange it there is no charge. I believe that you may be confusing the warranty ($6.95 shipping and handling) with new defective merchandise. We stand behind our product 100%. And customer satisfaction is very important. Please allow us the opportunity to correct any issue with your purchase.

I fell for the four items for $69.00, and the first thing my wife noticed when we got home was "These earrings are much smaller than the ones he showed us". The DEMO earrings looked the size of a nickel, but the ones we got were barely the size of a dime).

When she tried to wear them, one of them would not close, so we are planning to send it back for a replacement, which means we have to add $7 shipping to the price we paid. I can see now why that salesman was such a smooth talker. I'm not calling it an outright SCAM (except maybe for the earrings) because he was VERY careful with his pitch and his descriptions.
For sure I will definitely make a complaint to the PX and try to get my entire refund from my credit card purchase. I will also inform as many of my friends, relatives, business associates and especially my MILITARY buddies not to go anywhere near this company when they hold their next "raffle" at a military base. I write a blog called SCAMS, SHAMS and DAMN NEAR FLIM FLAMS, and I can't wait to put THAT article together

Lois,
Sorry to hear about your bad experience. There is a LIFETIME guarantee on all of BMNY jewelry. LIFETIME. You can also get your money back for any purchase you are dissatisfied with, regardless of your method of payment or receipt. Very simple process.
Mail in the Jewelry to BMNY P.O. BOX 303 Westhampton Beach, NY 11978. On a piece of paper inside that envelope put your name and telephone number so that we can call you with any questions we might have. I suggest putting tracking on any package sent by USPS. As soon as it is received your return will be processed. Simple. Satisfaction guaranteed.

I had no problem with my purchase from BMNY. Two months ago, I purchased a necklace for $15.00 from the NEX in Norfolk, Virginia. The sales woman was honest with me. She said it was not real gold, but a gold overlay. I know that real gold cost much more than $15.00 and would have the Carat engraved. I was not scammed and was happy with my purchase. Unfortunately, there are lots of scammers out there.

BMNY is a fraud company. I purchase a butterfly necklace for my wife and paid in May, here it is the 3rd week of June and no necklace. I try to contact the number only to get a recording and nor due they call you back. This company takes your money and runs. I don't know how they stay in business but I'm trying to work with Norfolk Exchange and get this Fraud Company banned from the Navy Exchange. Do not purchase anything from this company because you will not get anything of value and sometimes like me not even get your product.

I also bought some junk jewelry from BMNY at the Fort Stewart PX in GA. The reason I call it junk is because the salesman never said it was gold plated. They said it was 14 karat gold, which by the way I know is not SOLID gold. Solid gold is very, very soft which is why it is mixed with other metals to create 10 karat, 14 karat, and 24 karat gold jewelry. The problem I have with the jewelry is that I wore my bracelet 3 times and the gold paint wore off where the bracelet touched my skin. I say gold paint because when real gold plating comes off due to usage (and I mean years of use) it flakes rather than looking like it was rubbed off. Good thing I didn't send some of it to my mom as a gift. If BMNY really does offer a money back guarantee I would like information on how to get my money back since the jewelry was misrepresented and now I feel like I've been ripped off.

Anyone with a complaint or return is encouraged to call the number on your receipt. If you call after business hours Mon-Fri 9:30am-5pm (eastern standard time) you will get a recording commonly known as an answering machine. All of the Jewelry that BMNY sells is name brand. BMNY is the brand. As for the value of the Jewelry: while it is 'fashion jewelry' depending on the item; BMNY sells high quality gold 'PLATED' jewelry. Gold is currently at $1560.00 per ounce. This process protects the jewelry and retains its beautiful appearance. If it was solid gold why would the salesman bother to setup in any store. He/She would run to the pawn shop and retire. All of the Jewelry that BMNY sells is fully backed by a moneyback guarantee and a lifetime warranty. Yes LIFETIME. That means if it breaks or turns color 2 moths, 5 years, 10 years, etc. we will replace it for free. Try that at Claires or anywhere else. BMNY offers this warranty because BMNY believes and stands by the quality of the Jewelry sold.

We just had one come to our nex in Norfolk Virginia... I'm less upset t them (partially yz I only spent 20 dollars) but more made that the navy exchange run by the military would allow this to be sold in their stores any ideas who I can talk to regarding the responsibility of the be to its customers?

This man was also in the PX at our Military base in Ft. Stewart, GA. He completely lied about the value of this jewelry, said these were name brand jewelry, real white gold, silver and gold but no, they are NOT! Fake as can be I can get this jewelry at a Claire's or accessories store! He completely ripped us off 70 dollars. It made sense when we saw him rush out and get in his car before we even got to ours! I cannot believe they would allow this man to continue and scam people let alone allow him on a Military Base to do this! The numbers you contact are recordings because they know what they are doing... We are calling the PX to find out if he will be back and when so my Husband and I can have a chit chat with this man and get him banned from our stores!

i also was in kmart Oxon Hill Maryland I paid $60.00 for fake jewelry. One peice broke in half the first time i wore it. I was told the jewerly was sterling silver with 14k gold over it. The peices have lost the gold coating just after i wore it a few times. I was also given a coupon to go on line and get another free gift. When I tried to claim my gift on line with the coupon redemption number it would not process it without my credit card number. I have learned my lesson. I will never purchase anything like that again. I also feel Kmart should value their customers a little more. This BMNY company should have researched by Kmart before they were allowed to set up a display in their store. Iam also filing a complaint with Kmart and the Better Business Bureau

I actually had a piece break. However, it was sorta my fault. My daughter grabbed it and yanked! Anyways, I returned the piece and they sent me a new one. I think that's simply following the warraty they promise. And for the record, the gal that did my raffle or whatever was very honest. It's a 14 karat gold overlay. That's what she said. That's what it is. It's not solid gold, but it is made with real gold. If you don't understand the difference, you should ask before you buy. That's just common sense. Gold is only qualified as "real" or "fake" by ppl who don't know gold. However, if there was a disgruntled employee who was not doing his job properly, alert the company! I'm sure that no business wants dishonest ppl working for them. But a nonspecific complaint on a nonrelated website won't help get the guy a pink slip. Call the company directly and give them a date and store location. They'll know who it was, and maybe it will open up a job for someone who is more honest and less miserable.
