Purchased two tires for nearly $800 from this store and was waiting for my free alignment check. I was told it would be done in fifteen minutes. Sat around for about a half an hour when the service rep Ehren indicated that there was a vehicle stuck on the rack and they couldn't get me in for three hours and that I would need to return at which point I stated "that is bs". Ehren then flew off the handle embarassing me in front of a host of customers and accusing me of shouting at him (among other things). I was dumbfounded a rep could be so publically abrasive (and still be employed). I stated I would not be returning for future tire purchases at which point he indicated he preferred that I not return.

The most surreal customer experience I have ever seen.

I also agree with the former employee of TBC. I was also an employee of TBC, everthing that he said is true. This company is all about sell sell sell. I know that they are a retail company but WOW it is never enough. No matter how much sales increased they want more. They want yout to inspect cars will magnify glasses. Sell sell sell that is what they say to you all day. I spend about 2 hours of my 12 hour shift to erase emails like you

MUST MUST MUST do thIs you must sell thIs. They do this to all there managers, every single one. They also want you to solicitate 3 mile radius walking/driving around the neighborhood. This company is shady, there pay plan always changes . I was employed at TBC for about 4 years. When you hit there bonus they keep changing their pay plan and made it tougher so that next time you won't hit budget so that they don't have to pay their employees.

The comment posted above is ridiculous. That is someone trying to take a couple of shots at a company that he was apparently not up to their standards to remain employed. The reason those companies go through so many people is because the applicants come in promising the world and fail to deliver. I don't work for the "bog box" retailers anymore, but I have put in my time with them. They are cut throat at times, but they have to be. They have to keep employees on a tight rope, and those that can't perform to their standards, are let go or quit when the pressure comes. Apparently the guy above me is a perfect example of that. I worked for the "idiot" this guy is referring to... this guy is one of the smartest and well versed guys you could come across in the business. Yes he is shrewd, yes he is abrupt, but he is good at what he does and believes in taking care of the customer. he has no tolerance for inept employees... get over yourself.

I am a former Manager at Big O tires/TBC corporation; Let me start off by saying that this is one of the worst companies that i have ever worked for. They absolutely cannot keep managers working for them. They brought in a bunch of idiots from the east coast to work here on the west coast and they are simply way too incompetent to be in the big leagues. They sell junk tires-TBC brand, epic and cheap sumitomo tires that have a high chance to have a radial pull in them...complete junk! In the store that i was at, most of the technicians, if you really want to call them that, broke more things, or left bolts loose or off of vehicles more than they fixed them.. The left hand never knows what the right hand is doing. There are sooooo many managers and managers for managers...I have never seen a company that is so unorganized as this one... They run scams like buy 3 get 1 free on yokohama as530 tires, YET THEY STOCK NONE and the offer says in stock tires only... Then they try and sell you a cheap SUMITOMO PIECE OF CRAP or something worse when they break the news that they have no tires in stock for the special offer. They mark every part up that they buy, around 2.9 times what it costs them... You can get the ORIGINAL PARTS FROM THE DEALER CHEAPER!
They sell Michelin, Goodyear, etc for higher prices than you can find elsewhere... THIS PLACE IS REALLY A JOKE COMPANY AND I WOULD ADVISE GOING SOMEWHERE ELSE. But i will provide the Head of Big O tires, for the Socal/Vegas area EMAIL AND CELL PHONE # if anyone would like to speak with this idiot.

While the latter part of the exchange with the rep shouldn't have happened, you embarassed yourself by saying "this is BS" to a simple mishap. It was bad luck. Bad stuff happens that is beyond control sometimes. To react in that way is silly .
