BestPriceGlasses.com Terrible glasses, horrible customer service, stay away

*I forgot to add correct email address for roger the owner and sam the manager. They are below.*

The lack of professionalism of cheapglasses123.com (AKA bestpriceglasses.com) is literally disgusting. Roger Jiang owns this company as well as all the below and who knows how many more:

I don't know how this man has gotten away with owning so many businesses. I am a single mother with spinal disabilities and as I have a very low income I purchased tow pair of glasses from cheapglasses123.com including one for distance and reading. I ordered the glasses on 2/16 with a 10-14 day product delivery guarantee. As of 3/8 I had still not received my glasses. I called at least 10 times and when I wasn't sitting on hold or hung up on I was told to wait longer they would arrive soon with no resolve whatsoever. The three times I asked to speak to a manager I was told they were in a meeting. With the delay I was promised they would be expedited. The USPS was blamed by them for lack of delivery. After 22 days I finally received my glasses. They are HORRIBLE, cheap, full of glare, very heavy even though there was no bifocal, and made me extremely dizzy. With the nearly month delay in receipt I called four times to speak with a manager and every time was told he was not available. I told them I would keep calling back until he answered. They hung up on me several times and blocked my number. I called using ^67 and they answered and I told Mae not to hang up on me again explaining I would hold until Sam (the manager) answered and helped his customer. I am still on hold and have been for 21 minutes this call with no music as it would seem someone has picked up the call and has been listening for nearly 12 minutes. This owner has buried himself in so many business you cannot find his contact information. Below are all the emails I have found for Sam the manager who refused to speak to me, Judy in customer service who every agent refused to transfer me to, and the owner Roger. After much research I found the below emails which I hope will help others:

During this process I spoke to Mae, Reba, Megan all of whom ignored my pleas for help. I am now being told I must pay to ship this trash back and wait nearly a month for a refund to buy more glasses. Now after waiting nearly a full month for glasses I can't even use, even though I am disabled and high risk I have to not only take the glasses to the post office and pay for shipping which is non refundable, but also spend the next month unable to see while waiting more than 20 days for a refund. This business is grossly unprofessional please do not buy anything from any of these companies. All I simply asked for was a return label at no cost after all the issue and horrible glasses. They refused hence this complaint and all other reviews and complaints I intend to post everywhere. I will also file a complaint with every applicable entity including the BBB in every area they have a business registered, the AG, Consumer Protection, etc. I have all chat logs, recordings of all phone calls including being left on hold/refusals to speak to manager/hangups, and emails.

Desired outcome: Return label sent to me at no charge and full refund as per their guarantee.

BestPriceGlasses.com Still waiting after a month - STAY FAR AWAY! SCAM!

I placed an order on 10/14. Their website says that it takes about a week to deliver unless it is a complex order, which (understandably may take a bit longer). These were simple single vision glasses. A week later, the status still said "Paid". I attempted to call the toll free number listed on their website. They picked up after a few rings, but nobody said anything. I tried several times before resorting to using the chat now window. In the chat, I was told that the order would be put on "rush" and that it would be taken care of quickly. Another week passed and I hit the chat window again, this time asking for a refund. The no-service rep replied with "I will put a rush on your order." I told the rep that I didn't want a rush on anything other than a refund. The rep agreed to a refund. On 11/12, I looked through my bank records for the refund. Surprise! I never got it! So I went to the website and again looked at my order and it now said that it had shipped out on 11/10. So at this point, we are just 2 days shy of a month since the order. The tracking number returns "Pre-shipment: The US Postal Service has been notified to expect a package for delivery", in other words, they printed a label but did not ship it. Today, the 17th... a month and 3 days later and I still don't have the order. The tracking still says "Pre-Shipment". I contacted the rep once again through chat and got cryptic answers about having to talk to the person "incharge", but that would take 24 hours or more. Finally, I pushed hard enough to get an email address of the person "incharge". Surprise... the email bounced back - No such address.

I should have known better. I ordered another pair several years ago from them and the prescription was wrong. They refused to remake them and I ended up taking them to a local optical shop and paying $120.00 for the correct lenses to be put in. That's how iron clad their 100% satisfaction guarantee goes. I can't warn you enough to stay away... FAR away from these people. There are others who say that they have had a good experience with them, but there are far too many who have been shafted. The mark of a good business is not a business that does not make mistakes, rather, its how a business handles those mistakes with the customer and these guys completely fail.

I have bought a few pairs of glasses from this website now and I will never buy glasses from anywhere else. They arrive quickly, are exactly what you order, and the prices are considerably lower than anywhere else.

I am a MD, and i am very careful about who i recommend, but I have recommended this website to everyone I know. Excellent job, keep up the good work.

I just received my order and just wanted to send you some feedback on my order.

fabulous! fabulous! fabulous!

My reader are light-weight, the Rx is perfect(working at my computer)and
they are comfortable. The website is easy to navigate and my order was
shipped in a timely manner. And don't even get me started on the cost...

optical stores(Nationwide) $100 readers to shame in almost every way and I

Stop. Don't spend a dime with this company. My glasses and frames lasted less than 30 days. I did reach their customer service department once, but their attempt at English was non-discernible. 100% satisfaction guarantee, as advertized, does not exist. I have not heard back from them from the last 4 emails in 90 days. Sticking their heads in the sand does not may their lack of care go away. If they can't remake them, more like they won't remake them, I expected my $127.85 refunded. Transaction 4CV95617JL695173S. Still waiting. Set, Oct, Nov: still waiting.

BestPriceGlasses.com Eyeglasses

Have now used Bestpriceglasses.com twice and been very satisfied each time. About to use them yet again. Great to have a spare set of eyeglasses in the office or in the reading room.

When I ordered my first eye glasses at bestpriceglasses.com, I was a little sceptical. When I received them in the mail, I was completely satisfied. I have had numerous compliments and people can not believe what I paid. I will definitely be ordering more in the future. Next week I will buy the third pair for my sun.

BestPriceGlasses.com Worst customer service

This company has the worst customer service available. Everytime I would talk to someone via the customer service online service I was told each time that my glasses were being shipped that very day and to wait 3-4 days for delivery and I would be sent a tracking number for delivery. I would print the conversation and save it. I would wait 2 days and call again since no number was sent to me, and again was told the glasses were being sent out that very day. When I read the last conversation I was called a liar and told the conversation never took place. After 3 weeks and four additonal calls "Sam" told put me on hold and said he had a tracker number for me because they had shipped out already. While I was talking to Sam I checked the USPS website and found that the tracker number was created just 4 minutes earlier. When I told Sam this he just said have a good evening and disconnected from me. Well two days later it stated the package was picked up and now I will wait to see if I just get an empty box or the glasses I ordered. I have already contacted the bank to let them know what is going on. They assured me they will reverse the charge on my credit card it the product is not correct. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY...BEWARE

Hello,

I ordered a paid or tri-focals a few months ago. I had been warned by my doctor at Kaiser Permanente about ordering glasses online or getting them from WalMart. He told me it was very important to get them from a "reliable" source, e.g., Kaiser Optical. I did price them out through Kaiser and they were well over $400. close to $300 even with my measly insurance coverage! So, I started searching online. I came across your website advertising $5.95 frames!

Needless to say, I was skeptical. The glasses with progressive lenses, transition tint, anti-glare/scratch resistant were under $100. I figured if they came and fell apart or I couldn't see out of them I could always return them (money back guarantee), but if they were half-way decent I would save over $200.

They came and couldn't be more perfect. They are quality, comfortable, and the progressive (no lines) are placed PERFECTLY for reading, computer use and distance! I haven't seen this well in 10 years.

SO, I went back online tonight to order a pair of sunglasses with my distance correction only. The reason for this is I can't see very well to putt when I'm golfing trying to look through the bottom of the glasses that are set for reading! HA!

Anyway, because of a computer issue my screen froze when I was just finishing the order and when I got back in and completed my order, my account showed TWO pairs were ordered and paid for. I went to the online chat option. I was answered quickly by "Sam". He took care of my problem immediately. He was friendly (without unnecessary chat), informative, fast, and professional. I continued the conversation asking him a couple of additional questions that he answered completely, without hesitation. I did not have to wait for anything, his answers were clear and concise and very, very quick. Thank you so much, Sam.

I really couldn't be more pleased with ALL of my dealings with your company and honestly can't believe you can put out the quality product you do for so little. I will continue to order from Best Price Glasses in the future and will recommend you to anyone who will listen.

I was easily sucked into their stylish sunglasses. My very first order I received the wrong frame along with scratched lenses due to low or no quality control at all. Took over a month to get it corrected. Then again, I decided to order 2 more pairs for over $65. Received the wrong Rx on both and they were blurry. Sent them back and they wanted $40++ to correct the problem, so I asked for a refund and its just not fair for me to be losing so much money. They are the worst ever! Profits first, quality and customer service last.

BestPriceGlasses.com Inferior Product & Bad Customer Service

Ordered a pair of replacement glasses for my father from Best Price Glasses. Com. When the glasses arrived they were of poor quality as the frames were extremely cheaply made and were of the incorrect size. The lenses had rough edges around where they fit into the frame. The glasses were ordered to have a grey tint but instead were tinted green! If the quality and incorrect tint weren't enough my father could not see properly with these glasses even though it was the exact same prescription as his previous glasses, these were just replacements. The lenses were of poor quality and made incorrectly as was verified by the optometrist who performed the eye exam and examined this pair of glasses.

BestPriceGlasses.Com did not reply to any of my emails requesting a refund for the glasses. I have to say the customer service is very poor. You may save a bit of money ordering from them but in the long run its far better to have your glasses made locally. My father had a pair made by Sears Optical and they were made perfect the first time out.

For these reasons, especially the non response to the problem from them, I would not recommend Best Price Glasses . Com.

I ordered my glasses from this site. I was thinking I was getting a good deal. I'm a senior on disability. These hooligans took my money and never sent me my glasses. I emailed them and they responded with "Thanks for the money you old bag!" What kind of customer service is that. I had to order my glasses from a reputable retailer which makes it hard for me to make rent. I'm 87 years old and on a fixed income! I have reported them to the authorities.

BestPriceGlasses.com Fraud alert

Thought I would save some time by buying my glasses online. Decided on a company by the name of bestpriceglasses.com. Waited and waited for my order to come, but it never did. In fact, I am still waiting, and its been a month (as of today). Spoke to several reps from the company (as I attempted to cancel my order), but they kept on promising me that the glasses would be mailed the next day. Never received an email or call from the company explaining the delay. Caught several reps. in lies (or clueless) as to what could be causing the delay. I think what has been most frustrating in dealing with this company is that they have no contigency plan for properly handling delayed orders. I mean...a simple email notification would have been the professional thing to do, but you only get silence from this company unless you call or chat online at their Help Desk. They never initiated any communication with me as it related to the delayed shipment of my glasses. Meanwhile, I am walking around without glasses for a month now, getting headaches and blurry vision and this company offers no explanation, apology or customer service. Very...very...unprofessional...poor customer service. By the way, they finally sent me an email on Tuesday(of this week) stating that the glasses had finally shippped. However, it is still Saturday and no glasses. I'll cross my fingers to see if Monday is the magic day. Sadly, I have little hope.

I called using ^67 and they answered and I told Mae not to hang up on me again explaining I would hold until Sam (the manager) answered and helped his customer. I am still on hold and have been for 21 minutes this call with no music as it would seem someone has picked up the call and has been listening for nearly 12 minutes. This owner has buried himself in so many business you cannot find his contact information. Below are all the emails I have found for Sam the manager who refused to speak to me, Judy in customer service who every agent refused to transfer me to, and the owner Roger. After much research I found the below emails which I hope will help others:

During this process I spoke to Mae, Reba, Megan all of whom ignored my pleas for help. I am now being told I must pay to ship this trash back and wait nearly a month for a refund to buy more glasses. Now after waiting nearly a full month for glasses I can't even use, even though I am disabled and high risk I have to not only take the glasses to the post office and pay for shipping which is non refundable, but also spend the next month unable to see while waiting more than 20 days for a refund. This business is grossly unprofessional PLEASE DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM ANY OF THESE COMPANIES. All I simply asked for was a return label at no cost after all the issue and horrible glasses. They refused hence this complaint and all other reviews and complaints I intend to post everywhere. I will also file a complaint with every applicable entity including the BBB in every area they have a business registered, the AG, Consumer Protection, etc. I have all chat logs, recordings of all phone calls including being left on hold/refusals to speak to manager/hangups, and emails.

It is 2014 and their performance has not improved. It has been 27 days and no glasses. I will post on every board I can find until they clean up their act or get out of business.

My experience with them was ok but until last november i have place my order and now its march still havent recieve them.

Already filled up a lost form and have been following it up with sam constantly but lately i notice that their chat is always offline.
I dont want to think that i have been scammed but the more i look for testimonials about them the more i am convince. i have been wearing my broken glasses for 3 months now waiting for my new pair of glasses to arrive.

I was easily sucked into their stylish sunglasses. My very first order I received the wrong frame along with scratched lenses due to low or no quality control at all. Took over a month to get it corrected. Then again, I decided to order 2 more pairs for over $65. Received the wrong Rx on both and they were blurry. Sent them back and they wanted $40++ to correct the problem, so I asked for a refund and its just not fair for me to be losing so much money. They are the worst ever! Profits first, quality and customer service last.

BUYER BEWARE Schultz Optical has more than one website they operate under bestpriceglasses.com as well as cheapglasses123.com I had almost the same experience with them TERRIBLE customer service 1 month delivery AND the prescription was WRONG! I asked them via their LIVE HELP (Couldn't get them to answer the phone) if I could fax my prescription to them because there was some information about my glasses that there was no place to put the info in on their website and bridget told me just put the info in in the comments section. I did and the glasses came in WRONG! Then they told me I Had to FAX them my prescription to them so they could verify it Naturally they said I put the prescription in wrong and since they say it was MY error they are going to do Nothing about it. But it's Ok That was my 4th order and they will NEVER get another from me! PLEASE tell EVERYONE you know about these JERKS! Oh I see the posts prior to this one was 2 years ago so BEWARE the Leopard didn't change it's spots!

They're HORRIBLE. I ordered prescription sunglasses. When they arrived, the prescription was wrong and the frames were bent and misshapen.

The glasses made me dizzy, so I brought them to my optometrist to find out what the problem was. The lenses had an incorrect axis, even though my order was placed correctly. The optometrist was able to fix the frames.

I need to ship these back, but now that the frames are fixed they will not fit in the case which tells me why they were bent in the first place--the case was too small, so whoever shipped them forced them into a too-small case causing the frames to bend out of shape.

I communicated with Bestpriceglasses about this the day I received them (11/24/09) and was told someone would get back to me before the end of the day, but no one ever did. I called again on 11/25/09 and was told that they will let me purchase another pair for half price. This was unacceptable because I'm not interested in paying full price for a pair of glasses I cannot use then incurring further expense for another pair that may or may not be correct, and their offer is laughable. Again I was told someone would call me, but no one ever did.

Their customer service is HORRIBLE. My calls and emails were ignored until I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. They appear to have only ONE customer service agent (“Judy”) to handle these issues, but she works nights (bestpriceglasses/Schultz Optical is on the west coast). Because I am on the east coast, it takes a day to get a response, then I respond, another day goes by, they respond, another day goes by, and so on. It's ridiculous.

I was told they would re-make the prescription sunglasses, but they asked that I return the incorrect ones I received at my own expense and that shipping will cost "only $2." Excuse me? This is bad business. I should not have to pay to return them. And I would never return them via a method that does not require a signature.

I asked that they ship the new ones by express mail, at their expense, since I have waited so long, and I've received several different responses—they’ll ship them by First-Class mail, by Priority Mail, by Express, oh wait a minute—Priority! Or maybe by carrier pigeon. Who knows.

I did eventually receive the replacement pair. Guess what! They're not right--I cannot see out of them. They're going back for a refund.

I don't think this company understands customer service. I will not ever do business with them again, and will not ever recommend them.

I do not know you situation, but i am very happy with their product and service

I just received my new sunglasses. I'd been on vacation and they were here when I got home... I'm very
pleased...They are very well put together and I can see great with
them...You know how it is, sometimes when you order on the internet your
not sure the first time what to expect...

But i think their product, service are great

I had the same experience. I foolishly thought I would save money on prescription glasses by ordering them online. I chose bestpriceglasses.com for the frame selection and price. Company claimed that my order would be filled within 10 days. One month later, glasses arrived. The frames were nothing like what I ordered. Email contact with a rep named "Judy" took more than two weeks to get agreement that glasses should be returned. When I complained that 14 days was unreasonably long response time, she replied that she was sorry she didn't respond "immediately". I wonder what universe I entered where 2 weeks is an acceptable response time. I returned the glasses per her instructions and never heard another word. Subsequent emails have gone unanswered. My account and tracking were erased from their site. My credit card company cannot even get resolution from this organization. Terribly unethical and unprofessional business. They stole $90 from me like common thieves. Save your money and shop elsewhere!
