Purchased an inverter from Batterycentury.com over a month ago and although I made numerous attempts to contact them regarding my order, they don't seem to exist. They charged my credit card via Paypal, I've contacted paypal and got NO response from them. I now have to file a claim with my credit card against these scam artists. Customer service does not exist at Batterycentury.com. They will take your money and you will have to stand the loss, as in my case. Please stay away from them if you want to keep your sanity and good health. What I would like to know is why paypal is involved with scam artists and why is it that they did not respond to my email? I will not stop here as I will take it as far as it can go. I have my records and I will continue to tell everyone about how this company in cahoots with paypal stole my money

Hi Frank,
What I did was contact my credit card company and send the company, batterycentury numerous threats along with the very colorful 'f' words. On an average I used that well in one sentence about 10 times. They finally responded and I told them that I am going to sue the company and have them shut down. Again due to the position that I have and from the IP address I sent the email, they finally got the message and refunded my money. You should take similar actions against them so that you can at least recover some if not all of your losses. Sorry about that but I have learnt my lesson, I will never purchase from these guys ever. I'd rather pay more than go through all that stress.

Best wishes,
Joandm

Overall, this has been a very poor experience. I recommend not doing business with batterycentury.com

I ordered a CPU fan for my ThinkPad T500, to replace the OEM fan which was beginning to make noises.
I paid w/ PayPal on Oct 21, 2012.
The payment cleared from my bank account on Oct 22, 2012.
After the usual PayPal confirmation email, I did not receive any further information.
I emailed them on Nov 2, 2012 and asked for status.
I was given an USPS tracking number, which showed the package having been shipped on Oct 24, 2012!
The package finally arrived on Nov 7 (15 days in transit from HK!).

I installed it: on power up, I got a "fan error" message and the laptop would then power down.
(When I put the old fan back in, the laptop works again.)

I decided against trying to get a refund as it'd probably be more trouble than it's worth.
Lesson learned: trying to save $10 on a $50 part turned out to be not a saving at all!

STAY AWAY FROM THESE GUYS ! (same company as batterystyle.com)
They set me the wrong part. The part was falsely represented on their web site. I paid $25 extra for expedited shipping (3-5 days) and it took over 2 weeks to arrive. I got an RMA to return the misrepresented part and months later, after contacting them repeatedly, then they advice me that they will charge me $12 for shipping AND a %15 restocking fee. How can they do this? I already paid for shipping both ways AND they sent a different part than I ordered.
I have been waiting for the refund for over 6 months now and still have not received one, only emails explaining what they will charge me for sending a partial refund.

I ordered a replacement disc drive from these guys and when i received it, it was defective. So i followed their return policy and sent it back to them. when i tried to get a refund they claim to never have gotten the returned package even though usps said it was delivered back to them. now I am out $126.58 on a 60 dollar item. Batterycentury.com is a fake online company to steal peoples money. please to anyone reading this DO NOT order from these scam artist.

STAY AWAY and I mean STAY AWAY from these people. First of all, , it took three weeks for my battery to arrive, then I found out that they sent me the wrong model. They asked me to return it along with an explanation on what is wrong with the product. I told them what is wrong is that they sent me the WRONG freaking thing. I tried to return it, but I was told registered mail won't work in China. If I use UPS, it's going to cost me $64 for shipping. Now I am stuck with this stupid battery. If I would have known this place is from China, I would have never ordered it in the first place. DON'T ORDER ANYTHING FROM THEM.

Ordered a fan for a laptop on February 4th 2011.At that time they were celebrating Chinese New Year.
It did take a substantial amount of time to get to me (March 14). Still, I did get it. I did contact them and they replied politely ..
