It's time for us contractors to stand up for our rights and get what we deserve
I wish to speak with someone in upper management because the provocation I have been receiving from the Core department has now become strong arm robbery. I have worked with Barrister for the past 2 years and nothing has happened to me like this until I told a Xhaferi Mehet that I didn't appreciate the way he addressed me about a problem created by Barrister or 7/11. I did what I did under the instruction of the 7-11 technician which I was told has jurisdiction over the work order. Since my first interaction with Xhaferi Mehet he has sent me multiple emails on tickets that date back to 2023 while simultaneously charging me for the parts even after I sent him tracking numbers. This is NOT how I do business and at this time I feel the provocation has gotten to a level where I need something done about this immediately. You don't have to look hard. I just sent Barriister a complaint for nonpayment of services rendered
I don't have a paper trail to prove it, but i was charged twice for a >$400 part. The wrong part was sent and I sent it back. They say I didn't send the part back but the disconnect was that it was sent out wrong. Now I can't send the "right" part back. I quit working for them two years ago. They still call wanting me to do work for them.
They don't pay when they feel that they don't have to. They'll burn you, promise you everything then burn you after they milk you. See the attachment, they cancelled the job hours after I was there and refuse to pay me. I drove over an hour to arrive at the Fedex facility to pick up a part that Barrister said was there and it was not. It was actually an hour farther which would have added two hours to my day, not for the small money that they pay. When all is said and done, you'll have worked for roughly $10.00 to $15.00 an hour.
Barrister re-dispatched about 10 jobs that I had already completed so that they could keep all of the money. I am going to sue them one way or another.

I would like to be a part of this as well. They still owe me $310 for completed jobs. They have blocked my email address and will not respond to any messages I leave. I have been trying to collect for several months with no luck. But they would harrassingly call me nonstop before I cut ties with them. Like 30 calls in ten minutes. They always lied about the scope of work and tried to impose penalties for re-dispatch calls when it was their fault for not having the correct parts onsite. I could go on and on. I work for them and travel many miles. I worked 3 months straight no pay from them. I had too constantly call them every day to get my pay. I need to join the claim because as an independent contractor you should not be charged fees for being late or no show. Also, the miles you travel and the work you do is not fair.

I earned $1468.54 from Barrister and have only received approx. 300.00 I would like to know where the rest of my money is?
I have email trail where I did the work had me onsite for three hours and went back the next day for 5 hours. They paid for the 5 hours but the three hours I didn’t get paid and this is the second time they got me but no more because I refuse to do any work until they pay me. Definitely interested. I've worked with Barrister for years and they have screwed me over quite a few times. THey currently owe me hundreds of dollards. Nothing can be done about it. They won't respond to emails, they just ignore you on disputes and the "payissues" email. They've been scamming technicians for decades and it's time they were shut down.
They don't have a REAL location in the US. They have some sham office in Florida, the address actually comes up as a "Planet Fitness". They are located overseas and won't tell you where they really are.
I would also like to be added. I am owed over $2000.0 AND HAVE RECEIVED $660.00 OF IT. THEY ARE NOW 4-6 WEEKS BEHIND AND NO RESPONSE
These work orders have not been paid to me. It's been over 7 days, their waiting period to pay their techs.

It's worth looking into. I also am a tech working for Barrister on a long-term project. I am unable to work for them anymore because my vehicle is no longer a vehicle. It broke down 3 times trying to get to and from their jobs and since the distance is SO FAR every time, I never had the money to get it fixed. They only pay gas money, maybe some lunch money also. $65 max for any job. Hourly is rare and they don't want to consistently pay for that.
We should all collectively open a class action lawsuit against the company. Just a thought...we would get our money then for sure.

These dirtbags are the absolute worst. I've done IT field support for over twenty years and these folks are THE WORST. Lowball pay, delayed pay, poor dispatching, poor support, absurd requirements, no way to disengage, always calling offering stupid pay for work not in my area and expecting acceptance. I have now told them that any further contact will noted as continual harassment and legal action will be taken.
Noise, poor english, impossible wait times on every dispatch, and on and on and on. Frankly, those folks ought to be thankful I'm over a thousand miles away. Much closer and I'd be delivering my dissatisfaction in person.

I had to wait months for payments and although I received payment, the 7 day speed pay I did sign up for ended up not even helping out seeing as I never once received my pay within 7 days I always had to wait 2 months or more and when I finally contacted barrister after almost 5 years of these happenings they simply stated "client has not paid us, so right now we cannot pay you." I also have been cheated out of money when i drove over two hours 1 way for jobs multiple times. 'Oh, I'm sorry, we cannot pay you because you did not call first, or if called, another excuse as used all leading back to the same result, no pay'. I've been 8 years but only can take so much abuse!

WOW, Yep they owe me as well. It's been so long I can't remember how much. I ultimately just stopped working with them. They always wanted to LOW BALL you any way.

It looks like they are ready to steal a lot more money from people. Their site crashed for over a week and is still having problems; several work orders were conveniently lost. They already owe me for previous work orders that randomly got docked with no explanation, and payissues@barrister.com has been ignoring my disputes.
They owe me about $375 now going back as far as to February. I have email trail.
