Countrywide is run by a bunch of crooks! My husband and I fell behind almost 60 days past due. We tried their "workout" department. HA! COMPLETE JOKE! They had me running is circles for THREE WEEKS and then said, oh, you need this other department. WHAT? In the meantime, I was coming up on another month and they are like, well, what are you buying at the grocery store? Can you sell something? Do you come from money? After telling them my husband had a second job she said, You can always make more money, can your husband get a third? SURE, and never sleep? They refused to help us and treated us like liars! We finally got caught up at tax time and in April, paid an on time payment for the first time in over two years and I just tried to schedule a payment for May to withdraw on the 28th of April and they DECLINED. Said that I had to clear up my 900.00 dollars worth of late fees first. BULL!! How can they refuse my payment? They are lucky to be getting a payment. My credit card people would love to have one. I am so sick of them. They are RUDE and total scam artists. If they really wont take my payment then I will have to foreclose because I will never catch up. They are ridiculous!!!
