AXA Equitable Car insurance

I'm from Egypt and I've been subscribing for Axa's annual car insurance service for 2 years now since I bought my car and my overall experience has been atrocious.

1)Customer service are unaware of who renewed their insurance and I get monthly calls that I did not pay my rent keeping in mind I always pay rent on time, they'd apologize then a different employee would call me claiming that I did not pay yet again.

2)The payment method is extremely unprofessional requiring me to pay my bank multiple visits for a transaction statement to prove that I payed my Insurance as they don't didn't register the transaction to my subscription.

3)It has been a year since I last renewed my insurance and to this very day I haven't received my new policy nor haven't even received an email confirming that my insurance has been payed. I did contact customer service more times than I can recall, filing 15+ complaints that I haven't received my new policy to no avail.

I called customer service many times this past month to renew my insurance and they keep telling me that sales would contact me and to this day I haven't been contacted and not even gotten an email. I would not recommend axa to any one I know as the customer service is laughably atrocious, it baffles me how a multinational company like axa treats their customers and makes them regret their decision in subscribing in the first place.

Desired outcome: I want to be formally contacted by someone who would actually provide me with my policy and how much I need to pay for renewing my car insurance. Axa's system in Egypt should be completely rebuilt from the ground up.

Subject: AXA Account Review

Dan,

As I indicated to you in my email earlier today, I am attaching a summary review on the two Accumulator IRA accounts. I am available on Wednesday of this week, either morning or afternoon, to go through the numbers with you. I will be available next Monday or Tuesday as well. Please give me a call on my Cell # below to schedule a time.

I also looked at the last annual report on the life insurance policies, and based on no future out-of-pocket premiums being paid into the policies, and assuming a zero % rate of return on the existing policy values, each policy would remain in force for approximately the next eight years, possibly more, before insurance costs and policy fees would deplete the policy values. There are a couple of suggestions I'd like to share with you to lower the cost of insurance on each, and to reduce some of the market risk on where the funds are positioned for the future. Also, would like to get a response from you on whether you intend to make future premium contributions, which of course would change the time frame the policies would remain in force. Looking forward to your call.

Regards,

Don

Hi Rachel,

Thank you for the follow up.

The communication is very difficult and also my requests are answered after days with repetitive reminders. we didn;t have a evalation of the performance in years .

Do you find that OK, that your financial advisor do not contact you for a evaluation ? I . don't find it OK, as I payed pretty large fees and this is part of the maintenance and trust.

HOw I can trust you managing my accounts, when your performance is negative .

Tomorrow we will have a meeting to go over the documents he sent with the performance of the portfolios and some alternative solutions for the life insurance

I am very disappointed about your financial performance and the poor client services, besides huge fees you charge.

We will need to revise the entire plan and associated fees as the solution drain the accounts instead to grow them up

I will be back to you to see if we need anther advisor, as my understanding is that Don retire or is already retired .

AXA Equitable life insurance

Well my dad has been paying my life insurance for me since I was a kid so I had a policy with axa. Then my parents both had separate policies with axa. This is were it gets tricky, everything went smooth when my mom passed death policy was paid nothing wrong. But when my dad passed oh that's a different story we are 4 kids one was not there and the other child fraudulently signs his name right in front of the axa agent with no problem and he handed over his portion of the death benefit to my brother. So is that being screwed over or what. To me that's fraud fraud no way how you describe it it's fraud and i'm still here fighting with these idiots for my money. What's rightfully mine.

AXA Equitable quality of equitable life insurance

This company has gone from adequate to totally inept and even negligent. they cancelled my health policy which i'd had for 41 years because they said I left out a $30 payment. I sent in the $30 payment and today they told me they did not apply the $30 payment because my policy had been cancelled! can you even believe that! then they told me to overnight another $30 payment (which cost me $27) which sat in their po box for 4 days! this company is inept, negegent and possibly criminally libel.
They pay claims at a fraction of what is submitted. they have the worst customer service agents possible who left me on hold several times for at least 6 minutes and never came even close to resolving my issues.
If I could get together others, I would like to initiate a class action against the company.

AXA Equitable poor customer services from daniel megnin

To whom it may concern,

As a long time AXA customer, with a small retirement account, I have serious concerns regarding the customer service ethos of your organization after my interactions with your representative, Daniel Megnin.

Recently, I reached out to your organization seeking guidance and assistance to better understand your policies on how to best approach retirement and paying off my student loan debt. I explained to your representative, Megnin that although I am well read, I was unfamiliar with advanced financial planning strategies and sought guidance from AXA on a best practice approach to leveraging my resources.

Initially, Megnin was helpful when I explained that I planned on contributing more resources into my AXA account and considered rolling another retirement account, for organizational purposes, into said account. I also inquired if it would be preferable to pay off my student loan debt; or maybe utilize other resources I possess. As my conversation with Megnin continued, his comments digressed to a offensive and audibly condescending track, which lasted 10-15 minutes. During his diatribe, I maintained my composure and listened to his points despite his lecturing and patronizing tone. When I confronted Megnin about his comments and tone he rationalized his approach as being "truthful and honest", when in fact it was gauche and tactless.

As I stated before, I contacted AXA to consult with a professional financial advisor and Megnin's reproving approach failed to meet any professional standard. Post conversation, his tone was further exemplified in his follow-up email to me that included with capital letters "YOU MUST LEARN THESE SKILLS for yourself" shown below.

Megnin, Daniel
Mon, Jul 8, 1:07 PM (2 days ago)

"Maria,

I Just followed up with you via voice and left you a voice message.

Sadly, there are substantial surrender charges on this account (9%) that you will incur if either you transfer or take a withdrawal from this annuity contract. You may want to get a hold of the individual who you placed the money with and see if there is any recourse for you. We could not in good conscience recommend taking either of these steps.

Bottom line - you need to start to take responsibility for your actions and decisions. Saying at the age of almost 50 that you were not taught these skills is not serving you well in life. Whether you were, or whether you were not, is immaterial at this point. YOU MUST LEARN THESE SKILLS for yourself. This will be the best guide you could ever imagine for your own children.

I am more than happy to continue to be a resource for you. Feel free to contact me at any time.

Best,
dfm"

I'm a professional with a number of advanced degrees but finance isn't one of them. And similar to myself, there are many individuals who need advice from financial specialist who understand the industry and possess the appropriate professional etiquette and tactfulness when advising customers unfamiliar with finance. Sadly, if this is how your company approaches providing advice to your clients, who are experts in their respective fields, I would much rather work with an organization that is committed to professional courtesy, customer service and empathy.

As a result of my unpleasant distasteful experience with your representative, I will no longer work with your company and will redirect my funds. I also intend to let others know of my negative experience in hopes they will not do business with AXA.

Thank you for your time in the matter.

Maria Rodriguez

I had approx. $140k in Roth IRA's when I saw the alarming comments. I engaged Vanguard to initiate a transfer of funds. After 11 years, well beyond the "surrender fee" time period, they, AXA, took $450 from the first of three accounts, and they've held up the other two. The latest excuse was "wrong form" though the transfer form came from Vanguard. I'm waiting with fingers crossed. It's been more than three weeks, waiting for MY MONEY. Ken in CA

AXA Equitable life insurance/online verification/customer service

Dates of incidents: april 23 and april 24, 2018.

I went online to pay my premium and to take out a loan.in order to take out the loan there was an additional verification process to go through (which was new). They took me through a number of questions and I was to pick from the answers given me, the correct ones to the question. There were two particular questions that asked if I knew the birth years of these two individuals. Thing of it is is that I do not know the individuals so therefore, would know nothing about the year that they were born in. I was not given an option to check that I did not know the individual only an option of none of the above. So I chose none of the above to each question. This in turn said that I could not be verified and I was locked out of the account. It gave me a number to contact for assistance. I immediately called that number. The first time it disconnected on me, the second time I got a recording stating that the number was not available in my calling area. So I went to "contact us," got another number to contact. I called that number the next day and got into representative #1, explained to him what had happened the evening before and he said that the information was taken from my "personal records" and that there was no way to change it. Well first of all my "personal records" should not have those two unknown individuals listed on it! No one could give me a reason as to how to correct this mistake. Well if this company has this type of verification in place, then someone should know how to remedy the issue! This representative takes me through another list of verification, at the end he tells me that I did not pass, but he was going to give me a second. Well once he finishes the second he tells me that I had been verified and that he could email me the papers that I needed. But he did not tell me that I was still locked out of my account and that it would take 24-48 hours (1-2 days) to restore it! I print the papers out and proceed to fax that papers with the fax number that was provided on the papers that needed to be faxed. Here's another problem! The fax will not go through. I try it several times but to no avail. So I wait, then try again, still fax won't go through. So for the second time I call axa to see if there is a problem with the fax number and to see if there was another fax number that I could use. The representative #2, gave me a new fax number. She tells me that if I couldn't get through with this fax number, that I should call back in the am for assistance. So I fax using that second number I was given, only to get the same error message. This is so frustrating! So I go back online to try to get done what I need to get done online, only to get a message saying that my account is locked! Says that I need to reset my password. So I am verified, then it takes me to a screen with questions that I added as an added measure of verification. I answer those, it takes me to a screen that asks me to change my password. I do this, only to get another message, "error 405:" giving me yet another number to call for assistance. After I wait on hold to get in 30 minutes or so, I get another representative that asks me everything about me. I answer only for her to tell me that i'm still locked out and won't be able to get in for 24-48 hours. I ask how is that so, then she explains the "personal information" thing and how I can't change it, say that I was locked out because the first time with the first rep I did not pass the verification process. I told her that he did it twice and the second I was verified enough for him to email me the paperwork that I needed. That has nothing to do with anything, I still couldn't get online until 24-48 hours was up. I told her that I needed to speak to someone to see how or where I could go to update or correct the stuff they got from my so called "personal information," the rep archie (female), she could have someone give me a call back. Then asked for my phone number. Well didn't she get that from that whole question and answer when I first called in. I doubt if anyone calls, because at this point, I think that she was just trying to get me off of her line. I must say that out of the 3 representatives that I dealt with, this archie (female) was the worst and the rudest! So unacceptable!

AXA Equitable retirement

The worst company I have dealt with in years... They invested all my retirement into an ira which was fine until I learned it is a annuity! I do not have access to my money for 10 years... I can take 10% out a year. This investment was sold to me as an ira not an annuity. I have been dealing with them for 3 months' trying to come to a resolution and all they want to do is sell me on the investment. I have spoken to 3 of their managers who have all just talked at me and not once asked me how to resolve this...

AXA Equitable life insurance rip-off

I currently own a life insurance policy purchased from mutual of new york from their representative marcellus woods. My wife and myself have paying on this policy for twenty (20) years without missing a payment. When reviewing the policy approximately 1 year ago we noticed a phrase (final conversion date) we attempted to contact the representative (marcellus woods) for an explanation of the term but were diverted to different clerks and were told at one point during my wife’s many calls that marcellus woods no longer worked there and there was nothing they could do to help. Well finally marcellus woods called and when asked what Could be done with this policy his response was “you could die”. This is his exact words.. Marcellus woods made many appointments with us so that we could discuss this policy but did not make them nor did he call to cancel. This is the caliber of professionalism with which you will be exposed to if decide to seek insurance service from axa, money. By the way as a result of mutual of new york (mony) and their representative’s failure to service this policy timely they are claiming there is nothing they can do to honor the “conversion”. These actions or lack of a timely response must be criminal. If anyone knows how this injustice could be righted please advise me.

AXA Equitable unethical practices

My husband worked for Axa for 77 weeks. He graduated from CSU, enlisted in the army as an airborne infantry soldier, went to Iraq, fought for our freedom, got cancer during combat, finished his tour and came back to more hell on earth in the form of 18 months of cancer treatment. After his treatments he got a job at Axa. We were both ready for the future without cancer, without combat, and ready to make a life finally as we were newly married 2 weeks before he was sent to Iraq.
Axa then proceeded to screw us over. Everything from the "keepitreal22" post said is true. My husband did not receive a wage, he paid all of his expenses to acquire new clients for axa, (dinners, phone, fuel, etc...) . After leaving axa, and after some time went by we were served on CHRISTMAS MORNING by a collector stating we owed Axa an obscene amount of money. Apparently someone canceled a policy my husband had sold them before the minimum 12 months that they must carry it. I guess when that happens the salesman (my husband) has to pay back the commission. Although the amount they were asking for still does not make sense to me, as I do not recall receiving that money in the first place. We don't have that kind of money and it is simply not possible to pay it. My husband now has a judgement against him, that has been a financial nightmare for us. The benefits he should enjoy as a veteren that fought in a foreign war are largely unavailable to him due to this judgment. Our house is under water because of the Fannie mae/freddie Mac fiasco and I can't take advantage of programs that would take our interest rate from a 7.25-4.75 because of this judgement against my husband. I AM ANGRY AND SICK THAT THERE ARE PERVERSE COMPANIES OUT THERE THAT ARE ALLOWED TO OPERATE WITH THESE CORRUPT BUSINESS PRACTICES AND NOBODY OR NOTHING CAN STOP THEM FROM HURTING GOOD PEOPLE. If anybody reads this post and knows of help out there, please post back.

The reasoning for your husband to be paying back on the cancelled policy is 100% NOT AXA's fault. If a policyholder cancels a policy before the minimum earned premium is due OR if a commission is paid in full and the policy cancels before the 12 month term, then he does owe the commission back. Maybe your husband didn't disclose how much he was getting to you. These companies don't pay you to go drum up business, why should they? This is a sales job that requires you to go get business. I like that you put in that your house is "under water" and proceed to blame it on someone else. YOU bought the house when prices were outrageously high, nobody made you. If you want to be mad at someone, look in the mirror! The reason you owe AXA the money is quite simple, they paid the commission back and are now collecting it from the person who sold the product. This happens in insurance industry all the time when a policy cancels prematurely. You really should look at the whole picture because in this case, you are in the wrong. I appreciate and respect your husband fighting for us, I really do. But because he's a veteran doesn't give him a free pass

In 1991, he was appointed general secretary, in charge of restructurings and mergers (integration of Compagnie du Midi). He was appointed general director in 1993, in charge of North America and UK in 1994, and in charge of the merger and integration with Union des assurances de Paris (UAP) in 1996. He served as President of the Board of Equitable (which became AXA Financial) in 1997, and has been Chairman of the Board of Directors since 2000. He also serves as the Chairmen of the Steering Committee of the Bilderburg Group. The Bilderburg Group along with the IMF, The Trilateral Commission and the CFR have basically taken over the entire global banking industry. Here in the USA the Federal Reserve is the arm of their corruption. They are in the process of a total collapse of the world economy in order to bring about a new world government. In cooperation with FEMA the US Congress passed HR 645 which gives the federal government complete control of all state and local police departments. FEMA is building Interment camps across the country. They know something they "Think" we don't know. Along with The United Nations Agenda 21 which George W. Bush signed on to and Barak H. Obama has continued this path of a world wide dictatorship. As of this writing, 4 wealthy bank executives have committed suicide from several different countries.. Give yourself an hour to watch this alone, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eAaQNACwaLw Nope, I guess I wouldn't do business with AXA Financial either.

I work for Mass Mutual and we are a top notch company. In the Fortune 500 magazine as one of the most admired company in 2012. What's great about my company is that we are a Mutual company, hence Mass Mutual. What that means is the policy holders own the company and dividends are paid directly to the policy holders not shareholder and policy holders like stock companies do. We have a history of paying dividends to our policy holders for the past 160 years, since they've been in business, which if you are a history buff, that's prior to the Civil War. I have a team of specialists, not ad visors, and if you are or were looking for concepts and strategies that will be what YOU want it to look like, I am the person you want to talk to. What I tell my clients is this, There are 2 outcomes that come out of my meetings with my clients: 1. you or I will stand on either sides of the table and say look I appreciate your time but I don't think this partnership is going to work or on the other hand you can say I like what you've brought to the table and I want to build a nice working relationship together. Either way we will still shake hands and part as friends. I respect and cherish my relationships with my clients and will love to sit down and discuss what we can do for each other. If a financial services representative tells you "this is what's best for you" and not "do you think this fits in what your big picture looks like and if it's not I will go back to the drawing board for you" then run for the hills. What I also tell my clients is this, "There are 2 outcomes that come out of my meetings with my clients: 1. you or I will stand on either sides of the table and say look I appreciate your time but I don't think this partnership is going to work or on the other hand you can say I like what you've brought to the table and I want to build a nice working relationship together. Fruad? You can't even spell and you complain about a company wanting to interview you!? I hope you are doing great in your "job" in number 3 brokerage, whomever the might be. If you are still posting your resume on job boards, it means you don't have a network and you are also a "fruad"!

AXA Equitable recruiting tactics

I have been in the financial services industry for six years and have been constantly harrassed by recruiters and hiring managers for this company. My resume includes only large sell side banks, which I am sure is appealing to them, but I imagine this is the company's tactic to everybody. Any time my resume has been up on any type of career site or job board, within 2 weeks, I receive at least 3 phone calls from various AXA offices in the tri-state area along with a dozen or so emails. I actually went to meet with one of the hiring managers one time and this is their deal. If you are licensed, you basically pay them to work there. You do not get any draw on anything until you bring in 10k or so, (I forget the exact number). I am sure if you are not licensed, the probably pay for you to take classes while you cold call for them, and make you stay a certain amount of time before they will not make you reimburse them for the tests if you leave. Either way, it is the fog a mirror test that they hire on I am sure.

I was fully licensed for 4 years and was working at a top 2 investment bank when I went on my interview with them... they obviously told me a completely different story about compensation structure and what they could offer me to get me into the office.

I am now working at another top 3 brokerage firm and recently put my resume on monster/careerbuilder etc. Low and behold, in the last week I have gotten calls from 5 different offices and the usual email patterns. One recruiter from NY, pushed me to the point that I am posting this on here. I think this is probably the second time she emailed me in the last week, as I recognize the name, but I am not sure if she did this last time.

I received a recruiting email from her with my email address and everyone else that the blanket recruiting email was addressed to, visible in the To: box. I don't know about anyone else, but it really pisses me off that a recruiter from a firm of that size, or any firm for that matter, would be so unprofessional to copy my email address to a list of people who I have no affiliation with whatsoever. I responded to Eli Weiss and told her my thoughts, but below is her contact information if you have had similar experiences or want a job because I'm sure she will hire you if you have a heartbeat.

AXA Equitable rip off

I cancelled my car insurance in December 2010 as I was leaving France for several months and decided to sell my car.
I told the AXA agent Eric Auvray that I was leaving France and selling the car prior to my departure.
The car was sold in November and I emailed him to cancel the insurance on the 10th dec 2010.
He continued to send monthly invoices to my home address knowing that I was not there to receive them and he has now emailed me in April 2011 asking for over 800euros.
He also took advantage of the situation when I broke up with my partner and the house insurance was due. he managed to get us to pay 3000euros per year for house insurance.

AXA Equitable errors and contact

Last year AXA sent a risk assessment officer to my home to suggest risk mitigation measures. The result was instead a re-evaluation of my home to a price 120% higher than what I paid for it 6 months earlier. Not only was the purpose of the visit miscommunicated, but the result was a doubling of my insurance rates. After consulting with my broker, the assessment value was lowered but since that time AXA has failed to send me bills in a timely fashion. The only time they notify me is a week before payments are due, via registered mai and a threatening letter. There is never any contact information on the bills to communicate with AXA personnel directly - they apparently want me to talk only to the third party broker. Even their website does not offer any email contact information. I never had these types of problems with my previous insurance company, which AXA acquired two years ago.
Shame on these AXAholes.

AXA Equitable lack of ethics

I am so disgusted with AXA financial. I invested a number of years ago and now can't get my agent to return a call to deal with my account and when I call to arrange to move funds to another company I am told that I have to pay several hundred dollars in fees to release my funds. It gets better, turns out my agent's wife had been sleeping with another agent in his office. My agent is divorcing his wife and keeping the other guy as a friend?

Aren't these people supposed to have some sort of ethics?

How did I ever trust my hard earned money to these immoral yahoos?
Now in order to place my money with someone who at least will return my calls I have to pay hundreds of dollars? WTF
