Avast Software - avast safe zone antivirus
Bought a year's worth of this bogus protection on line and found out it does not protect - I have all sorts of problems with junk getting on my computer - when I tried to get the service stopped and a refund tried to talk with "customer service" people who were rude, unhelpful, and kept trying to pass me on to some vague other phone number infuriating - do no buy anything from these people
This place should not be allowed to do business in the us.
Just called today, Sep 17, 2015 because Avast Internet Security does not block, find, delete malware on my computer. The tech rep is so rude and tried to lecture on me and trying to make feel that it's my fault. I'D LIKE TO WARN CONSUMERS TO NOT BUY AVAST . PRODUCT IS USELESS AND SERVICE REPS ARE THE RUDEST PERSONS IN THE BUSINESS.

Hey there, sorry to hear about your issues with AVAST; as I've had nothing but great paid & free protection from there programming for a decade plus, on a variety of platforms both PC & Mac (Avast saved my computers a number of times ). I suggest it isn't AVAST causing your issues; however in this day and age $32 only buys you lunch - so you went hungry for a day. I'm guessing you could have altered some of the standard settings by AVAST which may have caused your issues, go into windows and revert to a previous time and remove the program if you feel strongly about the matter. I suggest you do not; let it run in the back ground as one day it may well save you a little more than $32.00. I've been intrinsically hacked before, all I can say is it isn't fun. Please re-read AVAST instructions. Black screen of death BSOD is easily fixed by a professional (google it), but viruses can cause major problems and are not easily resolved - personal details is just the start of identity fraud. I also fully comprehend IT problems are extremely frustrating, so relax, chill out (have a coffee) and plan how to resolved the problem - it does you no good trying to fix IT with a hot head - [censored] HAPPENS. As human beings we look to closely at coincidences as fact, I'm guilty of that too! Good luck to a positive conclusion
