Avangate Con artist Alex from microsoft

India speaking man called me on 6/17/15 about 3:30 pm. said he was Alex from microsoft. Wanted to access my pc thru ammyy.com to show me errors on my PC. Tricked me into opening my online banking web site. Told me he had just put $500.00 into my account to re-emburse me for Microsoft Security that he installed on April 20th that was not working correctly. Said I needed to wire him $350.00 to Anapam Sharma in India. I told him I could not go to western Union. He took access of my PC, set up an account to western union thru my PC and then asked me to transfer $350.00 to a Tom Bruns in Lenexa, Kansas 66215 at 8524 Monrovia, Apt 211. He received the transfer thru western union at 6:47. He then began shopping online at E bay for indian jewelry. Bought a necklace. I believe his login name was Saba Kolkata. This man conned me. Did not deposit any money in my account but stole all the money I had to pay my bills this month. I am disabled, on a $900.00 a month income, and completely devastated. Cant eat, sleep, stressed out to the max. Have no money to pay my bills. I reported this to all the authorities. FBI and police are conducting an investigation. Avangate No refund nor solution

I bought from their website an activation code for the game Mount & Blade but couldn't activate.
So I contacted both the company Avangate and TaleWords Entertainment for a solution but nobody replied me.
Therefore I asked for a refund online, and now it's been more than 1 month and the status is always "being processed"

It's my first time to spend real money to support my favorite game and I got a really really awful experience.

They are simply taking my money away without saying a word, and I can do nothing about it.

Avangate malware/spyware

Downloaded Avangate/tweakbit products and my computer was overtaken by malware and spyware I could not get on a lagitamite website no matter what I tried to do. I believe I purchased 4 different software packages from them, out a lot of money and dismantled my computer and destroyed the motherboard. I filed fraud charges and only recieved a fraction of what I paid them. I strongly suggest you stay away from Avangate.

We don’t install any kind of malicious software and consider this practice to be illegal and unethical. However; we appreciate you notifying us of this problem concerning payment. I agree 100% with this comment. Tried to get reimbursed from PayPal and was declined even though I sent them copies of many unhappy 'clients'. To this end, I won't be using PayPal again...I thought they could be trusted but apparently NOT!

Avangate Scam

I purchased this product at the referral of a website. When I went to download the item, it asked for the serial number and then said I need to go to this website for further activation: http://activate.esellerate.net. I went to this site and it does not exist. I went back to the Telestream website and it offered "premium" customer service for additional money! This is a scam and by the headlines that I saw today, PayPal has been involved in a lot of scams. I need to get my refund in 5 working days or else I will contact the Ohio Attorney General and any other interests that are involved in helping honest people stay away from scams. Oh, by the way, Avangate who processes order for Telestream sent me a fake PayPal receipt.

I purchased drivers from this company and they asked for verification for my credit card and when I checked my card, it had already been charged. I had to repeatedly ask for a license key to download the drivers. Immediately after installing the drivers, I lost all sound on my computer and the disk drive for SD cards. Avangate Unauthorized charge

In reviewing my Visa charge card account this morning, I noticed a charge my MyAvangate. I have never heard of this company and I certainly did not purchase anything from them. Therefore, this is an unauthorized charge to my account. I wish to have this charge removed from my card immediately and to not receive any more charges from them. I have never and will not in the future do business with a company I have never heard of. I do not understand how they can arbitrarily charge a fee to your account without your authorization. Please investigate. Thank you!

Avangate unable to have installed

I purchased 2yr driver whiz order number [protected] on March 24. When I phoned to register, remote controller technician (11026) told me that my computer wasn't able to install driver whiz as pc couldn't scan properly. Controller advised me that he could fix problem but it would take approximately 2hrs & I would have to pay in excess of AU$190. I informed controller I do not have that money. I read through my emails to find refund email address but when I clicked on address a message came up stating that it was invalid. Your guarantee on refunds, to me, is totally false. I am unable to use your product so I DEMAND a full refund to be credited to my bank a/c ASAP.

Avangate Fraud

Avangate told me that they were from microsoft and my computer had been hacked and they were using my
information on the internet. If I give permission to take care of it they could stop it now, so they sent my call to their
hacking department. They wanted my credit card information to take care of this right away. Well, they wanted to put this on my daughters computer too, but she knew this was a scam and called to have it removed. They removed it and Jessica gave them a her a confirmation #514321. I am still trying to get the charges off my bill.

Avangate is a software company that charged my paypal account every 6 months for the same software. Now today 03/11/015 they charged my Visa debt card for software I did not order and did not want. This company has a policy of charge you when every they want and not even notifying you of the charge. There should be someway to stop these people from doing...

Avangate No refund - product doesn't work

No refund for bad product. Phone Sheriff, parental control software. Doesn't work on my phone or tablet. Sales rep assured me I would get a refund if it didn't work. Four emails later and a complaint to PayPal and they still refuse to issue a refund. I will complain about them everywhere I can. Avangate makes me even more grafeful for companies that have good customer service. If I ever see the company anywhere on anything, I will try and comment about my experience.

Avangate Will not respond to refund request

I was automatically charged in the amount of 89.95USD by Avangate for a Bitdefender subscription that was to expire on March 1, 2015. The automatic renewal charge was processed on February 27, 2015.
First of all, I DID NOT wish to have my subscription auto-renewed. Secondly, I was charged 2 days for a auto-renewal (that I had no knowledge of) prior to the expiration of my existing subscription.
The order # that was automatically processed is [protected].
Despite making several refund requests through the Avangate support site, I have NOT heard from them, nor was my refund processed.
I am hoping writing this complaint will help in getting my refund.

Avangate Fraudulent business practices

I bought a software DVD ripper w/ media converter and after installing it into my computer... the program would only work half the time. The only way to make contact with Avangate, which is the company contracted out to receive the payments for the creators of WonderFox software, is thru e-mail alone. Well I can't even get someone to respond to my questions about the matter. Then recently, the copy and paste function to get the ULR's from the address bar and into the program to analyze and download, stopped functioning completely. So I'm out $40.00 bucks. Is there any honest God fearing businessmen out there anymore? Ecclesiastes 5:10

I have been attempting to contact Wonderfox for 3 days and I get no reply via emails. I have an issue with my "Life Time License" and I have provided my email that I registered with, receipts and my order number but I am being ignored by Wonerdfox. Please do not purchase this software because they in fact will refuse to reply to any emails sent to them. I bought this software DVD Video Converter less than one year ago...10 months to be more accurate

However, based on your description, I found it hard to solve the problems you encounter for now:

Firstly, we don't have a software named WonderFox media converter, could you give me the exact item name of your software? Only with the right name of software, can we deal with your issues right away.

Secondly, you said "DVD ripper w/ media converter", we have WonderFox DVD Ripper Pro, WonderFox DVD Video Converter and WonderFox HD Video Converter Factory Pro, three flagship products. WonderFox DVD Ripper Pro doesn't carry any video downloading functions. And the new version WonderFox DVD Video Converter and WonderFox HD Video Converter Factory Pro support YouTube downloading perfectly. If you have download issues with the later two software, please make sure your network work fine, and if you still have some issues please send us the problem picture shot.

Thirdly, we have a special group of staff providing customers with customer service. If you have any kind of issues, you can reach our customer service team at support@videoconverterfactory.com. On or around July or August 2014, my bank began sending me notices that my account may have been charged with fraudulent charges. I began going back through my statements and found several charges for a company called Systweak, Inc. some for $39.90 and $29.95. As I started calling to ask questions the person on the other end of line wanted to go into my computer to check for software. He then began to tell me I needed my computer worked on and how horrible it was going to be if I did not let them help me. One of the last billing amounts was billed through PayPal for 199.99. I am on Disability SS and my check small. I want full refunds for all charges on my bank account and PayPal.

Avangate confusion regarding product I was purchasing

I had received call(s) from Startech Windows Support. Sam Parker ID 8820 was the person who finally convinced me to buy what I thought was a software product, there was confusion on my part, that what he was really selling was online remote technical support on behalf of microsoft windows. Subsequent confirmation emails from Avangate customer Service stated that I had purchased iu Systemcare and was signed iu tools. I do not have iu systemcare. It appears that I have purchased some technical support for the next 2 years. All I have to do is call this number [protected] whenever I experience a problem with my computer. I am frightened that I may have been scammed out of US$200 and have nothing to show for it. Please look into this and advise me as to the validity of that company Avangate/Startech windows support

Avangate blocked order

I attempted to order a karaoke software program called PCDJ, and the order would not complete with my US address. I changed my information to appear as though I lived in the Netherlands (where the company is based), and the order proceeded. There is a serious anti-American bias going on here, and they are turning us away. I've included a scanned printout of the page showing the sale proceeding (I live in Seattle, Washington).

Avangate They do not support

I bought from Avangate, yet get no assistance from themr. All correspondence, emails and payment was to them for software advertised on their website.

When my liicense is not working (paid for, I even have a licence number supplied from Avangate), this is the email they send:

"Dear Customer,

Thank you for taking the time to e-mail us.

Please be advised that Avangate offers software vendors a full featured eCommerce platform, expertise and tools to sell and promote software online. We do not manufacture any products. Our assistance is limited to providing information about payment related issues and questions.

Avangate Employee Attempted to Obtain Double Payment, Company Unresponsive to Complaint.

I had been using a computer utility software from a company called Auslogics for a few years and was very happy with it. The only way to purchase their product is through the third party Avangate.com. My spouse and I had purchased a pair of laptops, and I contacted Avangate about purchasing additional licenses for Auslogics. I told them that I wanted the two new licenses to renew at the same time as my current one and asked if they could instruct me on how to do that. Their service person responded by saying that the only way to do this would be to purchase all licenses at the same time, and that all he could do would be to cancel my current subscription so that I could purchase 3 new licenses instead of two. I told them I did not wish to do this because I had already prepaid for a year of service and did not want to cancel and repurchase a license I had already paid for. I was told that the service person had already completed the cancellation and there was no way for them to undo it. I complained to both Auslogics and to Avangate. Auslogics simply referred me back to Avangate, and despite several attempts, Avangate simply ignored me. This may have been a case of a single bad apple trying to scam me, but by ignoring my complaints, they effectively stood in support of the scam. Now, I can no longer purchase Auslogics until such time as they wise up to Avangate, and find a different partner to handle their purchases.

PERFORMERSOFT CHARGED $29.99 AVANGATE $39.99, WHEN INSTALLING PERMSOFT, I KEPT GETTING NOTICES THAT I NEEDED TO INSTALL SPEEDY PC, ALL THESE MESSAGES POPING UP ALL THE TIME WAS SO AGERVATING i REMOVE SPEEDY PC AND BOUGHT NOTON UNDER A TRIAL. I LIKE NORTON, AND IT BLOCKS SO MUCH MORE AND DOES WHAT IT SAYS, YOUR PRODUCT DOESN'T. I WAS TOLD IF NOT SADISFIED I COULD GET A REFUND IN 30 DAYS AFTER TRYING TO REACH SOMEONE, I'M REALLY CONCERNED. Avangate scam of product

This company fraudently showed me that my computer was seriously infected and offered me technical support program for $299.99. They worked on my computer for 3 hours on 3/16/1014 and didn't fix a thing! The next day I called about a problem and a black screen came up and sat on my computer for 1 hour. In checking I found out this company is not affiliated with Microsoft as I was let to believe and are a fraud. I tried to access the site for requesting a refund and it doesn't exist. Can you help me here? I also contacted my credit card and bank and spoke with them about this situation and will be filing a dispute with them as well.
