My report on this company is similar to the ones that are already filed. There are a couple additional things they did that ticked me off.

When I bought the warranty I was tricked into believing that there was a one time 300$ discount that I would get on the policy if I OKed it then over the phone. I was also told that if i received the warranty agreement and did not like what I saw that I could call that day and cancel and the money would be credited to my account.
I tried to cancel that way and got voice mail and no return call. I read the fine print on the contract and realized I had to get a notarized millage report and mail it to them stating I wanted to cancel the warranty and that I had not made any claims on it. I was then informed of the ten week processing period by mail. After twelve weeks I was also promised return calls that never came. I was also told my refund was in processing and I couldn't talk to them. After this I must have been put on a caller I.D. no answer list. I knew this because when I talked to the administrator he new my name without me telling him.

They finally stopped answering my calls all together. I had to use my wife's cell phone to even get anyone to answer. When I got through I made sure 'George' new that it was my money, not there's and that they would hear from the attorney general. He said smartly 'do what you got to do'.

Hey Frank,
Why would you buy something that you would have to think of possibly canceling later that day?? Wouldn't it have been smarter to have just not made the purchase?
Would you go to a dealership to purchase a vehicle with the thoughts of maybe returning it later?
It seems to be a common sense type of thought process. I know for sure I wouldn't ever be duped into purchasing something like this without first thinking it through and seeing/reading the contract.

They send you the contract in the mail and tell you that you have 60 days to cancel. But when you cancel within there terms they refuse to return you money. The are worse than your common thief and should be treated as such.

They called me, and they told me that I have a month to cancel the contract within. They told me asl0 that I am gonna pay an amount of money and I found out later that I need to pay an amount of money worths half the price of my car. I wanted hardly to cancel the contract afterward. I called them, and they told me to fax the cancellation, and they gonna cancel the contract.

This was just a trick. Don't fall in it! In the contract, you need to mail them the contract, plus the pre-authorized check within one month. I sent, to both addresses mentioned in the contract, what they asked through a certificated mail, and notified them that I had witnesses to what is inside the envelope. I waited for more than one month and half, with no respond. After that, I filled a complain in the General Attorney, FTC, and Texas Licenses Department. It's online complain, and gonna take minutes to fill. Today, I have just got the refund check after two months of painful waiting. However, the name in the check was wrong. I notified the bank, and the bank said that they gonna fix it. Hope so!

It was a hard lesson.

My husband was told that he didn't have time to talk with me about it because it was a special deal over the phone that was going to expire and really charmed him into saying ok. I have been through the same maybe even worse with these people. I have spent countless hours on the phone for over a year!!! I have spoken to several people because I called from several different phones and several departments...I started writing down the names and times. Then there was a story of how their refunds department was under new management and that they were backed up. Then I talked to a guy named 'george lopez' maybe the same guy that you talked with... I have totally come out of my character by threatening to sue and I have yet to see a refund of course. Have you had any change of luck or advice on how to get the money back since then?
