I purchased a vehicle from this dealer on 12/4/2010 and he assured the vehicle was in good condition. The day after purchasing vehicle I began to have several problems with the vehicle from the brakes squeaking real bad to loud popping noises in the wheels. I approached the dealer about the issues and basically brushed off and told that there was nothing wrong with the car. I decided to have the vehicle inspected by a mechanic and found out that the car is falling apart. The transmission is bad and slipping, the brakes need to be replaced, the ball joints are bad and subject to go out anytime, it is hard to steer the car when turning, burns excessive amounts of gas (sometimes you can smell gas vapors in the car). I went to talk to the dealer and again he told me there was nothing wrong with the car and threatened to call the cops if I did not leave. His financing charged on his vehicles are very high. he is taking advantage of people and something should be done ab
out this guy.

I purchased a from this dealer on Saturday, 2/5/2011. When I took the car for a test drive, it seemed to drive fine and as far as I could tell everything worked, but the fuel gauge was reading Empty. I mentioned this to my salesperson when I came back from the test drive, and he said nothing. I purchased the vehicle and drove to the gas station down the street to fill up the tank. When I tried to put gas in the car, the gas would blow back out of the hole all over the ground. I took the car back to the dealer and told them what happened. They put me in a loaner car and told me they would keep my car overnight and fix the problem. They called me back on Sunday to come pick up my car. They said the car was 100% full of gas and that's why it wouldn't let me put gas in it, and said that the fuel gauge has gone bad. The mechanic told me to call him the following weekend and he would arrange to fix it for me. Sunday evening, driving home from picking up my car at the dealer, the oil pressure gauge failed (the needle passed 80 and kept going until it was pointing straight down) and the speedometer failed (it registered my speed at 120mph when I was stopped at a red light, for example). On Monday morning, I called the dealer to tell them about these other gauges that started failing, and they told me to bring my car back and they would fix it. I took the car back to them on Tuesday around lunchtime, and they put me in another loaner car and said they would call me when my car was fixed. The loaner they gave me was awful...the heat didn't work, you could smell oil burning, and the interior was in really bad shape. But that's beside the point. They called me back later Tuesday afternoon and said my car was fixed, so I drove back up there after work. By the time I got there, they were already closed. So I dropped off the loaner and got into my car. When I started it up, the instrument panel appeared to be functioning OK. The fuel gauge was registering 3/4 full, and the oil pressure gauge was within normal limits. I started to drive home, and within a few miles of leaving the dealer's lot, the gauges failed again. I called them again today to ask what they will do to fix this issue, and I was told they would order a used instrument panel and install it for me. But they said the odometer reading on the instrument panel would be for the car it was removed from, and would not match my car. And they said I would have to pay for this. It's very clear that this dealer's only focus is on making sales and getting money into their pockets. I don't get any sense from them that they care about service to their customers and making sure they sell a decent product. I'm getting the run-around and I've only had the car for 4 days. Very disappointing.

Yes, they will get you into a vehicle! However, the vehicle itself will likely be filthy and have mechanical issues. Look up The Auto House of Salisbury on the Better Business Bureau's website, specifically the complaints section. This place has a history of selling junk cars. The finance company they put you with is terrible. Search "Credit Acceptance complaints" on Google and you'll see what I mean. Bad news. Sure, they're nice people when you're giving them money, but once your car starts having problems, see how nice they are then.

I bought a car from them on July 8. 2010 My friend bought one on the same day. These BOYS took her down payment of 1200.00, she left with the car, they broke the law by NOT turning in the paperwork to Raleigh within the alotted time of 28 days, they kept her money, took 5 months to come get the car after they cancelled her loan with Credit Acceptance, and she is still fighting for her money back. The car I bought was falling apart and at 355.00 a month I gave it back to them. These boys, Nathan Brown and Sam Ketner are nothing more than common thieves, and would ask anyone to contact me at sportsmom8692 on yahoo site to ban together and file a class action suit against them...and their attorney, Richard Huffman, is knowingly aiding them in theft and money laundering... email me... maybe together we can make a difference Diane

i applied for financing online, a salesman called me and told me that i had been approved for several late model cars and to come in soon. i was very pleased until i got to the dealership, at that time all the cars that i was supposedly approved for had been sold. they asked for all me information again, came back to me and took me outside to show me more cars that they could get me into. What a joke, they expected me to put down 1500 dollars down and finance cars with anywhere from 106, 000 to 132, 000 miles on them. They were all JUNK.!!! They talked to me like i was a loser and all i could get were these pieces of crap, i would never go back there and warn everyone that they are a big RIP OFF, and do the old bait and switch on everyone that goes there...i left there and drove directly to another car lot and got a low mileage, very nice car with a lower down payment and way better loan terms. forget this place and drive to Hickory and buy from EZ WAY auto sales...these guys will treat you right !!!

|
my credit was awful too...but it is just stupid to pay 10, 000 dollars or more for a 1o yr old car with over 100, 000 miles on it...guess they have you brainwashed into thinking thats the best you can do...and they did you some sort of great favor...bet your comment will change when it breaks down on you and they treat you like crap

BEWARE! This dealership lied to us regarding the carfax and fooled us into driving long distance to their dealership. Once we got there I had to ask three times to see the carfax. The salesman "Chris" then tried to hand me an incomplete carfax missing page two of three. I informed him that this page was missing and I wanted to see it. He came back with a safety and reliability packet that had nothing to do with the history of the vehicle. Finally the manager came out from behind his sales tower and stated "Well I was trying to avoid printing all this shit." (referring to the safety and reliability form). This had nothing to do with page two that was missing, which he refused to show me, trying to convince me there was no page two. The top of the carfax pages clearly said page 1of3 and page3of3 but no page 2. Obviously they were lying and trying to hide something. As we got up to leave, the manager stated "Just get the hell out." I can't even begin to describe the unprofessionalism and unethical behavior of this dealership. (The language included in this is only to show the extent of unprofessionalism. This is verbatim what was said)
