I need to find two beneficiaries. I pay the allotted amount on my husband's card. Was accepted...only to find the site does not exist.
You obviously had other complaints about this site. Why do you not investigate it? This is a case for the Police surly.

DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM AUSTRALIAN-RECORDS.COM - THEY HAVE NO RECORDS AT ALL!!! TRY SEARCHING "SMITH" UNDER PEOPLE SEARCH AND IT WON'T RETURN ANYTHING. DO NOT PROVIDE ANY CREDIT CARD DETAILS OR PAY THEM ANYTHING - THE WEBSITE AND COMPANY IS A TOTAL SHAM!

Hmmmmm "SMITH" is a little like searching for "Wong" in a Chinese database... far too many listings. This is not to make light of your problem, however, it is a big ask.

I am neutral in this and just saw it in passing, so in passing - I shall pass on some information for you to follow-up.

URGENT ATTENTION TO ANYONE TRYING TO FIND THEIR ANCESTRY:
DO NOT GIVE OUT ANY family tree DETAILS ONLINE, this is SO serious as some of these details are used by banks to identify you as a caller when you ring them. So imagine what dubious companies could do with ALL your names, dates of birth, MOTHERS MAIDEN NAMES etc etc etc. PLEASE I BEG YOU - DON'T DO THIS - WE HAVE LIBRARIES AND GOVERNMENT DEPARTMENTS ONLY TOO HAPPY TO HELP YOU.

Last but certainly not least if the site does not have an A.B.N or A.C.N number that you can verify on the Australian Taxation or Goverment Business Sites - DO NOT DEAL WITH THEM. You will not receive a TAX INVOICE.

Better to pay the G.S.T than lose your identity overseas.

P.S I am writing all this so maybe, just maybe it may help someone else - who knows. If in doubt about a company especially if you are purchasing a high priced item, you can pay $40.00 incl G.S.T to grab a full listing of all that companies bad debts, complaints and court actions - closed and pending. Caveat emptor (Latin for "Let the buyer beware.") AND GOOD LUCK IN THE FUTURE

i was close of purchasing to see if i can find an old ex boyfriend from high school 10 years ago.

i then as usual to any website i googled australian-records and scam.

i do this to every site i am going to purchase from because i once 12 months ago got scammed $300 from a scamm website. ever since then each time i want to buy something online i always google the websites name with scam to see if anything comes up/ a few things have come up including these reports. thank u all for saving me being scammed.

i also found a report of them being scammers from 2007. why is the website still even working?
