For international textbook editions, the order page on the web-site claims, "This is an International Edition textbook, the only difference with the US edition is the ISBN, slightly different front cover and the exterior binding which is a paperback. The contents and layout are identical to the US edition. Printed in original color on High Quality Paper." The textbook I received is actually missing a 15th chapter that is included in the US edition. The company refused to pay for return shipping (to Malaysia) which would cost more than the purchase price of the book (about $62.00 in this case). I am stuck with a text book that is missing a chapter. Beware of austin-books.com and the various other names under which this company operates, such as bookxpres.com, ezytexbook.com, textsociety.com, collegexpress.com, textbook2u.com, etc. In the end, I rented an additional textbook from Amazon.com for about $25.00, with free shipping and free return shipping. I am still stuck with the falsely advertised book from Austin-Books.com.

Hello all,

Please stay away of these people, they kind steal your money. I bought a book and it was not as it was described so I asked for return and never heard back from them. Now, I am dealing with my bank to dispute the transaction.!

REALLY BAD PEOPLE!

Same thing just happened to me. Got the non-US version and it did not include the Mastering access code. It was supposed to be three hole punched and instead just softcover. Not happy with this AT ALL.

What low-breeds would try and make money off of poor students? I'd love to put Austin-books.com out of business.

I was scammed by this company as well. I recived half a text book! Thier international version was nothing like the us version. I emailed a few days after realizing this and they refused to give me a refund even though it was within the so called 30 day warranty period. There is no warranty and there are no returns. This company stole $79 dollars from me and now i have a useless half of a book. Stay away from this company. Go Amazon instead. This company is based out of China. Crap company by crap people. No morals.
