AuraVie Skincare Being charged for product after &friee trial&

I saw an online ad for a "free trial offer" of Auravie Skincare products on the Total Beauty.com website, and it said that I would only be charged $4.95, which covered the shipping and handling costs. The ad did say that I would be billed $98+ if I didn't cancel my order within 10 days. My packing slip was dated 7/7/2014, and I called to cancel any further orders on 7/14/2014. However, when I tried to cancel any future shipments of Auravie, I was told that I'd be billed $68+ for the product I'd already received. The original online ad said NOTHING about being charged for the "free trial offer" if I no longer wanted to receive their products, nor if I wasn't satisfied with their skincare products, which caused me to break out. The lady with whom I spoke in Auravie's customer service department was some kind of foreigner, probably Oriental, and I had a difficult time understanding her. All she could say was a circuitous conversation, or script, about returning my "free trial" and the fact that I would be charged if I did not return the product. I told her that the original ad featuring the "free trial offer" said NOTHING about being charged for it, nor did it indicate that I'd have to return the product in its entirety in order to avoid having this charge put on my credit card. I DO NOT WANT TO PAY AURAVIE FOR THIS "FREE TRIAL OFFER, " because it's overpriced, and it made my skin break out. I've since read reviews on Google and various other websites that this company and its "free trial offer" are a scam for its consumers. Why can't the Better Business Bureau and the state Attorney General's office do something to put Auravie out-of-business for fraudulent business practices and operating a scam via the Internet and the U.S. Postal Service? These types of companies and their "free trial offers" are breaking the law by misleading consumers and then ripping them off by charging their credit cards for products not ordered nor wanted. I am calling my credit card company and asking that they do not pay for anymore Auravie Skincare charges, and I will be EXTREMELY upset if I have to pay one more dime for this bogus product.

I sent for a free sample of this product, REVIVE, RENEW, and REPLENISH for the price of $2.95. When I received my bank statement, there was a charge from my credit card in the amount of $97.88. There was also a charge of $19.99 from SAFECART.This is not very good business practices. I would like to get a refund.

Thank you Bonita Hart-email- hrtbon@yahoo.com 409 E. 66th St. Anderson, Indiana

AuraVie Skincare scamed me out of $74,00

Get it free website showed this product free, with only s&h, sent product without any return papers or anything saying they would charge $74.00 if not returned within 10 days. When I saw that this money was removed from my bank account I called the bank gave me their phone number. A very cocky girl told me you did not read the whole ad (which just said free for s&h) It's done very sneaky, And that they would take off $10.00, because too bad I did not read the entire site. I told her the product said it was frangrance free which it's not (it even lists it on the box, She was just mean nasty, I told her their product must not be any good to trick people into buying, I also told her I'am a senior citizen and this was my car insurance money. I'm discussed at this trickery am will never use the computer again BUT I WANT PEOPLE TO BE WARNED!

I ordered a trial from this company and by the time it was up they had sent another shipment and tried to bill my credit card. I tried talking to a representative with no results. I was told my account would be turned over to collections.

It irks me when people say "I'm a senior citizen!" like that makes you a protected class minority or something. I don't care who or what you are - READ THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS. Don't bash and blame the company for your mistake.

AuraVie Skincare Charged my bank card

I went on line and saw a ad that a mom invented a mixer of face creams and it made her look 25 years younger. So I went on to read about it I was impressed so I went to were you order the products which is in the middle of the story. But I did first finish the story then went back and put in my order for the first the product it said it was risk free trial it would cost 2.95 but they charged 3.02 maybe they got sick of charging 2.95 and hit the wrong keys.I thought if the product work that good even if it made you look a couple of years younger it would not hurt to try it for a trail free offer then I would not be wasting my money even if I had to cancel a member ship after 30 days at lease I would have time to try it .So on Tuesday morning my husband ask me wear did I spend 97.88 I told him I could not remember because I was with him the whole weekend. Then bells rang in my head and I thought at the other company that I order from must have charge me because I received the other product two days later in a box with just a packing slip I was going to call to see if they charge me anything because it look funny to me. So they were the first ones I called had to look for the number on line then I called ask if they charged me 97.88 .They told me no they have a 30 day trail if you cancel to keep the product and if I liked it I would have to pay full price for the product next time because I cancel it and did not take a discount price I said that is fine with me because I did not have the time to use it .Then I called the other product I spoke to a Jason and told him the company charged my bank card 97.88 I would like them to take the charge off please his attitude was not a pleasant one like he was the owner of the company .He told me that I was over my 10 days trail and they charge the account after that and it was in writing when I made the purchase with my card I did not see that at the time because all they had was the ad and where you put in your information and just send it but he told me if the bottles where not open I could send them back before the 22 of July they would give me a refund and I would have to pay for the shipping charge he gave me a number and told me to keep the shipping number on hand just in case they do not get it . He made it sound like he was doing me a big favor keep telling me to clam down and he would tell me how I can get my money back it took him for ever to explain it all to me.Then I was thinking if they ship it out on the 25 of June and I did not received it until the 28 of June would that start my 10days trail that would bring it to July 8 so they go by the day it is shipped so you do not even get 10 days before they charge the cards and when you do get the products you do not started them until the next day so they charge even before the 10days and how are you suppose to no in such a short time if it works like the story say that it takes around 30days before you see any results not in 10days. So I called my bank and told them that I did not give my authorization for them to take the money out they told me that I was cover 100% against it because I only payed for a trail period not for any thing else no matter what they say because my bank is going to put a claim in against them because I did not authorize them to take out 97.88 so if any one gets in the same situation just call your bank or credit card and tell them what happen they should help you against a desperate company that try to take money from people who work hard and only trying to make them self feel better.Maybe if they did not try to rip people off their company would do better. THANK YOU MRS DEBORAH LADUKE.
