I switched to Uverse because I wanted a better internet/cable package than what I had with Comcast; more specifically faster internet. I loved it until I got my bill and found that I had been overcharged.

To make a long story short, the installers actidentally gave me a DVR that did not come with what I ordered and ATT subsequently charged me for it. I called service to get some answers and the first operater had no clue as to what I had signed up for, how many receivers I had and was paying for, and why I was upset that I was being billed for ATT's mistake. I ended the call frustrated.

Next, I tried a storefront. It turns out that the storefronts displaying the Uverse banner are a farce. The associates cannot help with anything Uverse and they had to call the 800 number and talk toa Uverse representative. This time, they did get a solution for me. I would have to ship back the DVR and once they received it, they would send or install a new reciever. They also agreed to reduce the bill by the DVR cost. How audacious that I would have to spend my time to correct their problem and be without service because of them!

At this point I decided to cancel. I had been receiving collection calls from ATT for not paying my bill while I was trying to get this resolved. I paid my bill for 2 months minus the amount of the DVR with notations all over my check an bill stub on why. I waited a few days and called to cancel. The agent said she couldn't cancel because of the balance, but was at the same time trying to upsell me on a different package. Everytime I called, the agent would not know anything about my previous complaints and tell me that I had the wrong package because the DVR did not come with the U-100 and would try and sell me a different package. Every time I had to explain that the DVR was an ATT screw-up, but they would relentless try and sell me another package. They didn't get it.

I did eventually get the opportunity about 5 days later to cancel after fighting another barage of sales attempts. I cancelled more for ATT's lack of service, follow-through and reconcillation than for the money, it was only 8 dollars a month. Think of how much money ATT lost over this small mistake that they refused to correct.

My bill has been getting higher and higher each month. I have talked to AT&T and they have done nothing to resolve the situation, At first I was able to receive some promotion credits and my bill was lowered by $15-$20 dollars, I was asked by the agent what my favorite network are. When I respond they tell me I would loos all of them. By the way they were not movie channels. To date they tell me there is nothing they can do. I enjoy being able to have cable but I can live without it. After I pay this bill, I plan to cancel my service with them. I have had them as my cable co for about 10 years and have been very pleased with them. I no longer feel this way.

I called their agents 3 times to have a technician come out and hook up service at my new location. When they didn't show up I'd call back and they'd give me a new date/time for the tech to do the installation. Again no show. Called back yet again. Received yet another new date/time. You guessed it. No show. Goodby att! Switching service to Comcast.

Called to upgrade my service. Was offered a discount on their u400 package. Waited two days for service to begin. Called to fine out nature of delay. Was told that I was not eligable for discounted upgrade. Service operators not familiar was product. Led to believe one thing then told another. Good old bait and switch. but if I needed a cell phone... boy they would be right on it !

I am Glenn D Locust. My address is 1602 Westgate Dr. Terrell Texas 75160. I do not have ANY ATT services, I do not have Uverse svce. I continue to receive bills monthly and I want this matter cleared up! I am not going to send money for something that I do not have.

Made one of the biggest mistakes of my life. Agreed to a contract with a deplorable provider. Definately a bait and switch. Was told the price would be less than Comcast, would have the same reception as comcast(it does not, previously had Hi Def, now do not, unless willing to pay another large fee, was told would have free movies on demand; do not. Attempting to attain help from someone who speaks and understands English is often difficult. Horrible mistake and cannot wait for the term of the contract to expire.

Only three no shows?! I've lost count as we have been lied to by the service center and the reps who sometimes show up and then leave without doing any work. This has been going on for 3 months!

I spoke to 12 reps and 4 connects and each time I thought it was settled, NOT
u-verse billing dept never looked at my account. I tried to get thru to someone in authority, but even when I got a manager who said it was all settled, uverse shut off my ohone and internet.
They are despicable.
