Atelier-M London laser

Hi, I also agree with previous reviews. Firstly Meeta did not want to disclaim which machine was being used which is against the law of providing the customer with full information about the product. On top of that the machines did not work and this is coming from someone who has previously done YAG which is real. I do not trust Meeta at all and her behaviour was appalling particularly when requesting for a refund.

Atelier-M London laser hair removal

M Atelier is the worst salon I have ever visited in my life. Very unprofesional and rude. I have paid for full body laser hair removal, and I have no results at all. She made me to buy another 6 sessions so in total I have paid for 12 sessions which were waist of money. Every single session she rushed and used low settings so obviously there was no results. The first 3 sesion that I had with her she was using some old aparently " painless " machine which didnt work at all and didnt remove any hair at all. I was going to ask for the refund when atending my fourth sesion, not just because of the fact that she is not doing her job proffesionally but also how unfriendly and rude she was. It was always difficult to book even appt. She wouldnt answer the phone and text messages she would ignore. I had to keep texting to get my appt. After 10 sesions I would expect hair not regrowing. I had in the past laser hair removal in different salon and after 3rd session hair was almost gone. After my 6th session I had no hair at all and now its been 4 years and still no hair. So I can honestly say that Meeta putting low settings so you pay her for more sessions. Avoid this salon!

Totally agree. Meeta patel shah is scamming people in to buying laser sessions that she wants upfront money. When you say anything she gets so rude, abusive and is very unprofessional . Treatment settings are never increased and so no result of hair reduction. Nasty woman who claims to have been an award winning salon but obviously not for laser. Does free makeup for indian bollywood actresses /magazines to get publicity. But this is not for laser. She block people and then claims we didnt turn up for appointments but NEVER addresses the fact the she has deliberately failed to increase settings.

Atelier-M London complaint about the salon and owner

I was visiting friends near the salon and passed by seeing that they had an offer for laser hair removal. The salon was closed despite saying open on Mondays and then wed-Saturday. I was ringing the bell and called the salon but there was no response. Eventually a few days later I got through and enquired about the laser hair removal offer that I was told would be finished the end of the month. The owner Meeta said to come in for a patch test. I went in for the patch test and before I left she said if I wanted to take advantage of the reduced price I had to pay in advance. So I paid the £699 by credit card. That evening I came out with a rash in the area which is not a surprise as the salon did look dirty and unhygienic with dirty towels and no signs of disinfecting products. I tried calling the next day but no answer. I had an appointment for something else that week and Meeta calls me a few hours before that appointment which was also paid for and she cancelled the appointment last minute. Although I was accommodating initially to that as I can appreciate we all have certain emergencies but when I told her I wanted a refund as I don't feel comfortable commencing with the laser hair removal as my skin is extra sensitive and for my health I don't feel I am suitable, she flipped and became rude and aggressive saying it is not up to me to decide that and she refused to give me a refund. She also refused to acknowledge cancelling the appointment we had and at this point I too have to work and had to arrange a day off for this appointment as she doesn't make it easy to book appointments. I am shocked at how her behaviour was so unprofessional. She was rude, aggressive, does not know the meaning of customer service. I reported her salon to the police and the citizens advice bureau as she has basically stolen my money since she took it but has not provided a refund. I don't know how she sleeps at night but places like this should not be allowed to remain open as it is deceiving to customers. I checked on the London Hair and Beauty awards site and there is no mention that she won the award. False advertising and a scammer.

Atelier-M London mink eyelash extensions

This is in regards to comments the manager, Meeta, made on another complaint about her on this website, however for some reason my reply will not send to her on there, therefore I will set up a new complaint so she can see my reply through this.

This woman is deluded. You are not fooling anyone. Firstly, that was not my boyfriend it was my brother, seeing as you seem to be so obsessed about him when he has nothing to do with the fact that you can't do your job. He was expecting to pick me up an hour after he had dropped me off, which is how long it should have taken. This rubbish about you being so experienced that you can do it in 15 minutes is a joke and anyone who has had mink eyelash extensions put in by and actual professional will know this. We were not aggressive towards you in any shape or form, we simply came back to get video evidence of what you had to say for yourself, which i would gladly have done myself and proceeded to "defend" myself if you had not been so quick to kick me out. So, we have video evidence of the whole conversation the three of us had, before you closed the door in our faces and told us to "F off" - very professional of you. Your audacity to call the police is nothing but laughable, you did nothing but waste police time, I am sure they did not appreciate your petty attempt at a complaint. If I was such a cheap skate and just wanted my money back, why did I ask you to remove my eyelashes after seeing them in the mirror? - Something you refused to do. I had to take them out myself at home with coconut oil as they were STILL stuck at the corners. You either do not have a clue what you are doing or you do this on purpose to Groupon clients, which makes you more despicable than I initially thought. I have kept the eyelashes as evidence, as I am certain they are not even mink, which is what I paid £50 for. I have had mink eyelashes put in at half that price and they did an amazing job. I have never complained to Groupon before, as nothing this horrific has happened to me until I the misfortune of meeting you. The only "art" you practice is the art of scamming. I simply came on here to share my experience; people can use their own judgement to believe what they believe to be the truth, because at the end of the day only you and I were in that whole salon. Which brings me to wonder what your "eye witness" saw, because I am sure they are not willing to lie to the police for you. The person you are referring to entered the salon after you were finished with me, because you lock your door (I wonder why). She did not have a chance to see or hear anything, as you were very eager to kick me out as soon as she entered. The mere way in which you respond to people on here, shows the character that you are.

This completely sums up my experience of the owner too. She is not to be trusted and I cannot believe that Groupon is still allowing her to sell services through their site - especially given the number of complaints they have received about her over the years. Shame on them! Avoid Atelier-M at all costs!

Atelier-M London semi permanent makeup

I purchased a groupon voucher for semi permanent make up on 1 March 2016. I contacted the salon to make an appointment and was told I needed a test patch done before they could start the treatment which I did. I then went along a week later where I laid on the bed and she started on the procedure. It was only when I sat up (approximately 45 minutes later) that I realised what a terrible job she had done. I was supposed to have my eyebrows microbladed but what she had done was tattooed a line on both my eyebrows without even drawing on first before she started the process. She also went over the brow line and went too close to my nose. It has taken me 3 months and several hundred pounds later to correct the procedure.

I complained at the time and she told me that it was dark and that it would fade and I should wait till I'd had the top up which should have been 4 weeks later, needless to say I didn't go back.

Ideally I would like the £59 I paid for the groupon deal refunded along with the £276 I have had to pay to correct her error.

Regards

Janet Kugele

Atelier-M London semi permanent makeup purchased via groupon

Like a number of other complaints on this site in reference to this Putney based salon I have also encountered issues redeeming my voucher for semi permanent makeup purchased via Groupon.

I attended a consultation several weeks back where they did a patch test to check I wasn't allergic to the ink and was instructed to come back for the appointment today. However, I too received the bizarre text message in the middle of the night saying they needed to cancel due to an emergency. The salon is now not contactable via text or phone.

Unfortunately I only saw the terrible reviews after I purchased the voucher and had hoped that an established deals site like Groupon would check the partner businesses they use and do the due diligence to protect the consumer but unfortunately they have not been remotely helpful responding only to say they contacted the salon and asked them to call me! Great! Will never be using Groupon again either.

Frankly it is disgusting that so many people have encountered the same issue and deals websites keep funding the Atelier M Putney scam.

Do not purchase vouchers for Atelier M. You may as well throw your money away. It is a con.

TOTALLY AGREE. This woman is a scammer. then accuses you of asking for free sessions which in my case in untrue. I paid upfront for a course of laser hair removals sessions and she never increased the settings despite mentioning it so many times. The previous limited company has been struck off and a new one set up in Jan 2017. Makes you wonder why this was the case and I have seen that there were numerous complaints and figures listed for peoples losses. do contact companies house [protected] so they will advise you to email in and ask for company to stay open and repay losses. DO IT !

You do not promote an offer on such sites like Groupon and then call the customers that take advantage of such offers 'cheap skates'. Those comments in itself and the fact you have abused former customers verbally years later rather than compensate them and make the situation right at the time says A LOT about you as a manager Meeta and your business.

Everyone can see through the comments you have written under the alias 'Lisa111'. If they were to check other sites (as I did when I was first ripped off and before I wrote this review) they will see bad reviews dating back to 2012. I am sure since then you have added self reviews (many in fact) to mask and hide the negative reviews that genuine honest customers wrote. At the end of the day, new management or not you are still the same person (very nasty and bitter from the messages you have sent and have even sent me today) and the business is still yours. Whether or not you have legally passed the titled to a family member to try and fool people like so many businesses do is another story.

As I said, whether they get a 10% discount or 99% discount people should be able to write reviews about their experiences at a establishment, especially if they gave the manager a chance to rectify the situation and were completely ignored. I wrote the review because I would not want ANYONE to experience what myself and so many other people have.

When you run a business that is honest and provides award winning, outstanding customer service, one thing you do not have to do is self-review. This is because the REAL customers will speak up and rave about your establishment. If you have provided the opposite, they will indeed rant but not rave; as they should. Do I believe your award is real? It's questionable. One thing I do know, is with your track record I am sure it was not from any well known awarding body but well done.

If you do not like receiving bad reviews do not provide such bad customer service and take people's money without providing them the treatments that were promised. I was not the only customer at the time.

There is really nothing more to say.

Atelier-M London avoid!!! scam!!

I paid £125 on wowcher for IPL laser hair removal at atelier m London. 8 session for upper lip and Hollywood. I completed the 8 and the manager kept urging me to get more. Stupidly I then paid £75 for 6 more sessions. I had one session of the 6 in January and got a phone call the day before my second session at 10pm to say its cancelled due to an emergency (the manger Meeta called) I didn't get a chance to ask why. The number was then disconnected for 2 months and I have seen online MANY people have the same issue. I have rang in march, April, and now may and they keep giving me the run around saying "I'm the hairdresser, call back another time to sort the situation out"

'Lisa111' is clearly the owner Meeta Patel. I have received more nasty emails from her since yesterday and it has to stop. It is really pathetic to offer a deal on wowcher/groupon, take the customers money and not provide a service and then call customers cheapskates. My experience was in 2013, I wrote an honest review after chasing the salon time and time again for my followup treatments I had paid for ON TOP of my groupon deal. When you have an award winning salon and offer such amazing service you do not need to self review as the establishment has been doing. Genuine customers will sing your praises. From the replies to this thread and other peoples' experiences with the establishment (and the owner) it really says all that needs to be said about the owner and the business as a whole. I hope no one else has the same experience as me and so many others. If you do, you have every right to voice your experience and warn others. It is 2016, focus on improving your business not abusing innocent members of the public who have suffered because of you and your business.

Terrible - I paid upfront for a course of 6 sessions. The owner then closed this store down and said i had to go to Harrow to finish my course, which i cannot do. She won't pay me back so has effectively stolen £300 from me. All this after continuously cancelling and rescheduling all other appointments. Avoid any other stores or anything to do with this brand or lady, Meeta Patel.

Wish i had seen the above reviews before paying and now loosing out on this money!

MEETA ATUL PATEL is nothing but a SCAMMER.
Offering 'great' prices or Groupon deals and then not carrying out treatment with any degree of skill or care.
DELIBERATELY NOT INCREASING SETTINGS FOR LASER HAIR REMOVAL THEN CLAIMING ITS FOR THE CUSTOMER BENEFIT!. WHAT A JOKE SHE IS. THINKING THAT PEOPLE DONT KNOW WHAT SHE IS UP TO.
Calling people 'CHEAPSKATES' and accusing people of trying to get FREEBIES WHEN THIS IS NOT THE CASE.
Clearly has a guilty conscience by doing this.

I have payd upfront to have 1/2 leg laser treatment.
I have done 3 sessions. She has been always late with no appologies.
Now (since 3 months) Meeta is alsolutely unreachable by phone or text.
So I guess the next treatments that I have already paid for, will never happen, and that I will never get my money back either.

We are a professional award winning buisness.
Nila bhatt has posted lots of comments but we cannot and wneeds ill not give her free sessions after 3 sessions. laser requires more than 3 sessions especially asian skin, she has been trying to get free sessions every visit and we will not do that, hence her rude comments, students from universities pay us and are happy with their treatments as are our other clients. I am meeta and I the proud owner of my buisness and always will be. clients are welcome who wish to come to me or they can decide where they want to go to simple. your reviews of negativity does not affect my buisness as we are always being recommended and are proud winners of awards two years in a row.

It would be helpful if you could stop calling so many people liars. is meets too scared to reply herself. you are not the one who carries out treatment so should not be responding. as you have no idea..
So many people cannot be lying. the common denominator is ateliar - m and meeta patel shah who is director. when you can prove you have not scammed people then reply. and prove thati asked for free sessions_not the case. * you haven't even provided to any degree of competence or finished the treatments I have paid for and hence this is stealing and a scam* truth always hurts.
Stop going about awards that means nothing lisa111. and we dont want to know about other people either. capitals=shouting.

Atelier-M London bad atmosphere

Atelier m-London is beauty salon. I bought voucher for sis appointments. When I came there they asked if I have voucher or I will pay smth. I told that I have voucher and after that time they started behaving like I am waste of space. It is not acceptable. I will talk to their director. Bad atmosphere.

I had very similar experience to Cleo2013...

I purchased 6 IPL sessions deal for £89 and another IPL treatment for £99 directly with the Salon. In Feb 2013, before my 2nd session I was called to be told that my next session was cancelled due to an “emergency”. I was asked to call back on Monday next week – no explanations given. I was calling the salon since then every day on a number of occasions desperately trying to get in touch with them but there was ever no reply. I even went there personally but the only thing I encountered was a note on the entrance door: “we are closed today due to urgent circumstances” – no information when they reopen, no information since when they have been shut etc.

I complained to standard trading services and I was informed that the owner shut the salon de to health problems and she “maybe” willing to complete the treatment. Therefore, I attempted to make appointments to complete the sessions. However, both appointments were cancelled on the day of the visit! The last happened in July 2013 – a proof that the practises of the salon have not improved at all. The reason for cancellation was that it was too hot and they did not have enough clients so it wasn’t worth for them to keep the salon open until my appointment at 3:30pm - very unprofessional way of treating customers.

Since the last scheduled appointment I have not been able to get in touch with the salon anymore. The owner seems to be avoiding me. I left messages on the voicemail machine and tried to call numerous times. However, no one has come back to me or for this matter even picked up a phone.

I can’t believe the owner Ms Patel took my money just like that without even bothering to regain me as her customer or rebuild her reputation as a businesswoman by giving back what she owns. This beauty salon is a scam in the broad daylight. Don’t get yourself lured into their business practises!
I am in the process of taking further action – please let me know if you’d like to make a mutual complaint or proceed to small claims court together. Please contact me on monteverdeas@wp.pl
It is not expensive on the contrary to what the "very informed" recepitonist said... £25 for open the case.

Money scamming thieves! I paid Atelier M a few hundred pounds for a series of IPL treatments. Firstly - it didn't even work! Secondly, I received a phone call at 10pm the night before my last appointment, saying that they had to cancel my appointment due to "urgent matters". The lady I spoke to was unable to tell me whether I would receive the rest of my treatments & told me to phone back in two weeks. After two weeks I phoned back. The number dialled through to what sounded like a fax machine, the salon was closed & I couldn't contact them. Three months later & they phone me saying they can offer me the rest of my treatments at the end of next month in May. I explained I wanted a full refund because I had been messed around so much by them & the treatments I have already had will have been rendered useless now because there has been such a large lapse in treatments. The lady said she would not offer me a refund but would offer me a free blow dry. She was so rude & unhelpful saying if I had a problem, to put it in writing addressed to the manager & she would reply saying exactly the same thing. I said she has left me no option to take the matter further. She said if I wanted to pay a solicitor a few hundred pounds an hour for nothing then that's my problem. I cannot believe the way this woman who says she was the owner (Meeta Atul Patel) spoke to me. She hung up on me, only to phone me back two minutes later to say she is going to lodge a claim of harrassment against me with the police! I cannot believe this! Something must be done about these money thieving fraudsters.

I also had a terrible experience with this salon. They are unfriendly and a little over priced. When you consider that there are so many great salons in London, I would not recommend this to a friend. I found them quite rude, to be honest! Not the relaxing and peaceful atmosphere you'd expect from a beauty salon.
