I have two bank accounts.

BBVA - Tried to withdraw €3500. Was told to wait until she could open the cash box. She served four cumstomers in front of me, delivering more than €3500 cash from the same box. Mistreatment of foreign clients.

Banca March - tried to make an international transfer of 865 pounds. The teller was talking on the phone the entire time I tried to tell her what to do. Typically, she made a mistake and transfered 865 euros. As this was a payment, I had to make a separate transfer for the shortfall. I had to pay twice for the transaction charges. = €60. Furthermore, she made a conversion error and i was overcharged €45.
When I complained at the bank, the bank manager claimed not to be able to speak English. I have been refunded €24.65.
The bank manager is too busy to entertain solving my problem. A month later and I have still not been refunded the remaining €45. And a three week delay in a business transaction due to bad bank management.
Marbella is supposed to be the hub of the Costa del Sol. The banks in outlying areas seem to be more professional than those in Marbella, or is it simply racism with foreigners?
