Arby's ease of access of survey

Bottom of our receipt said to do the survey and get free Reg RB or Beef N Cheddar. Filled out possible website: arbys.com/survey and could not get into any site except this one. If you are looking for complaints this works, but if you are looking for a true customer friendly survey you will not get it with this approach. We have always enjoyed Arbys and are amazed that this type of survey ? is out there.

i went to my local arbys. i saw the new sandwich angus beef and i thought i would try it. i ordered especially after seeing the pictures. it looked awesome. well i ordered one and to my dismay it did not look anything like the pictures. i said something to the manager and he said i will take care of it.

i was wondering if this kind of advertising is your way of doing business? or is it this restaurant. we are usually happy with our food.

5/9/2011 7:47:54 a.m. I stopped in this Loves truck-stop and fueled, it had an Arby's so I decided to grab something to go, so looking at their menu board I noticed the chicken and bisquit sandwich, and by the picture looked delicious. So I ordered two sandwiches. Left the truckstop, got on the highway opened up a sandwich and what a big disappointment. Nothing at all like the pictures advertising this sandwich. The so called chicken was I doubt 1/16th of an inch thick, a lot more breading than chicken. Also looked nothing at all like the chicken strip in the picture. Buyers beware, you will do better just to buy a bisquit, it will be a lot cheaper and you won't be disappointed by Arby's false advertisements.

My husband and I both tried your new Roast Burgers (bacon cheddar) and your potato bites. We were very disappointed. The Roast Burgers had very little meat. We also had mozzarelli sticks and potato bites. Both had the same coating, which was changed from the original recipe. The bites were inedible, even when dipped. We definitely will not be eating these items again although we are frequent diners in your restaurants. Don't change things if you expect people to continue patronizing your establishments.

I went to arbys on the evening on Feb 19th 2009 thru the drive thru window. I specificly asked for the sauce that goes with the new southwestern eggrolls sauce. I didnt recieve it. We ordered 2 med strawberry shakes and they were out of it. THIS IS THE 2nd TIME THAT THE HAVE BEEN OUT OF STRAWBERRY SHAKES... The curly fries were cold. We only live 1.6 miles from the restaurant the fries cant get that cold in that short of period. We eat at arbys atleast 8 to 10 times a month there. We spent 23.66 on dinner tonight. I am very disappointed in the quality of the food and the service this evening.

This doesnt mean that we will not ever eat there again. I guess my point is, that it seemed like they didnt make the to listen when we were ordering our food. The store was not busy, we spend alot of money there each month.

I used to get ham and cheese sandwiches at arbys and there was alot of ham on them . Since they started the 5 for 6.95 the ham is very little. I got my sandwich and opened the wrapper and all I seen was a bun, I lifted the top of the bun and found a small circle of ham in the middle and I said something to the girl at the window and she said oh well this is all you get, it is pre measured by arbys. This is a disgrace that you pay that kind of money for a sandwich and get bread...things are tough out here and people are only eating out maybe once a week and this is what you get. I want my moneys worth ...

My family and I went into arbys to have a late lunch. The help was rude...our order was wrong. There was four teenagers in charge and no adult in site. They were nasty cuz we said our order was wrong. When finding a table...they were such a mess. Food all over and the only tables that were clean had the chairs still up from the night before...this was 3 in the afternoon. And to make it worse...when eatting with my 8 and 3 year old...we listened to the staffs conversation about how wild a party got the night before and how "drunk and ###ed" everyone acted...i will never set foot in that arbys again.

I purchased a turkey ranch market fresh sandwich, a small curly fry and a small diet pepsi. The fries were cold and had a pepper taste right away when I ate the frys on the way home, When I got home and tried to eat the sandwich it also was too peppery and dripping with ranch dressing.I finally just threw it away after wasting that money for a dinner meal.I am not happy with Arby's at all this time after I had eaten there many times inside the store.

Arby's bad service

On October 10, 2008 at 7:40 pm my son and myself entered the Arby's Restaurant on Paris St. in Sudbury Ontario for supper. Upon entering the restaurant, the door pane and glass were filthy. When we entered the restaurant I noticed that not one single table had been wiped down as well as the chairs. The floor was littered with garbage and looked like it had never been washed. Both my son and myself needed to use the washrooms before placing our orders. When I entered the ladies bathroom the floor was littered with papertowels the sink was filthy and there was the distinct smell of feces and visible feces on the floor. For some reason, as we are a CLEAN family, I thought I must be imagining things and proceeded to the counter to place our order. The front counter girl was NOT, nor was any other employee in uniform. She was wearing dirty jeans and a top that showed half of her midrif. No hair nets were worn by any of the employees. There was no greeting at all, and beside us was another family who were having trouble getting the correct order from the staff. The fountan machine was so dirty that I told my son not to get fountain pop to order bottled. We placed our order and the girl asked if that was to stay and I replied "If we can find a clean place to sit". No attempt was made to clean off any tables. A few minutes later another employee came over to ask what the problem was with the other family's order and then asked the girl if our order was "to stay". The employee then turned to her co-worker with a smirk on her face and said loud enough for me to hear "if they can find a clean place to sit". I have never (and I am a 48 year old educated woman) been spoken to and about as ignorantly as that. After about 10 minutes and a LOT of confusion my son took the order to a, of course, dirty table. I stayed at the counter, waited for the "maybe shift-manager" and told her I wanted the Manager's name and phone number. She went into the office and after waiting about 5 minutes came out with the name and phone number. I asked her, her name and she wanted to know why and what the problem was. I then noticed she (and only she) had a name tag on. I didn't answer her and just pointed to her name and wrote it down. I then told her that this was the most disgusting restaurant I had ever been in, it was filthy and the bathroom had "###" on the floor. I then went over to the table of the other family and had a chat with the mother who told me how she had been treated. I then gave her the Manager's phone number and told her I would certainly be calling the Manager myself. As soon as I arrived home, I called the Manager, of course, getting voice mail (this was at approximately 8:00 the SAME evening and to this date (Oct. 11/08 5:00pm I have received NO reply). I will NEVER eat there again. October 11/2008 had to make another phone call to the Manager of the restaurant. The Manager told me she got my message and talked to her staff. I told her my story and she said that she "was going to have to challenge me on that". I was in total disbelief and told her that I was the consumer. Her restaurant was filthy and had she been there she would have seen the conditions of her restaurant. I told her that my job was to nofity the Manager as I was doing and that I had placed an email to Head Office with my complaints. There was NO apology, no reimbursement for my meal, NOTHING. She basically made me feel like a liar and I told her I would never eat at her establishment again.

I went to Arbys in Medicine Hat to have a meal. As sometimes happens my husband proceeded to make the order for both of us with me standing there to clarify if that is what I want or not, and when I agree I sometimes motion by pretending to kiss him on the cheek. Not physically touching, just the motioning of pretending to kiss him. The man waiting on us, mumbled something. I heard the man waiting on us mumble something and smirked. I felt very uneasy and asked said 'excuse me' and he said, 'Go get a motel! I was mortified! I stood there for a few seconds, waited for myself to calm down enough to say, "I am not going to eat here" and I walked out. He was there to wait on me in a mannerly fashion, nothing more, nothing less. He deserves to be 'fired' to say the least then sent to 'etiquette' school. I have been in the work force longer than he is old, and this is not the way to treat customers. Had he been working for me, , , we would have been dismissed immediately! What is happening to society...it is going to rock bottom for sure. J. Richards

Not that I'm siding with the management here, but why would you want to eat in a filthy disgusting restaurant that has [censor] all over the washrooms, filthy tables and improperly dressed employees? I'd see just one of those things, turn around and walk out. A five minute walk onto Regent and you have several different choices on where you want to eat. What made you want to choose a place like Arby's anyways? o_O

My reply to this is simply, why would you even order food from there if it was so dirty? Were there no other restaurants around. I think I would have went home hungry and made me something to eat.

Arby's false advertizment

on 9-18-08 at 11:50 am i visited the arby's roast beef restuarant located above which i have visited many times before. i had coupons that i had received in the mail that i had used some just the day before. then when i asked to use one today i was told by the manager of the store they decide which coupons on that page of coupons that i had already been using off of which ones they honor and do not honor. then i asked about false advertisment and the manager told me they were a franchise and they decided what coupons they honor and do not honor. so i had to pay full price for my food only to find out that my sub sandwich was half the size that it was the time before and still the same price. i will never again visit any arby's nor will anyone that i know or come in contact with and i do come in contact with a lot of people everyday. at this rate i do not think a business can stay in this fast moving economy where a lot of businesses are going bankrupt and seems like this arby's should and soon will be following suit with all the other fast food businesses already going bankrupt and by doing business this way they deserve to. your reguards a very disgusted and dissatisfied customer.

I to agree that Arby's discriminates on use of cupons. I am single and only wanted one sandwich, but was told I couldn't do that. If I bought one sandwich, it was the same price as two. I will go the the places that will let me use the cupon but only buy 1 item.

The Arby's in my hometown, Mansfield, OH is awesome! Whoever does the hiring, hires the friendliest and most helpful people! I have written in to the local store to sing their praises.

My husband and I love Arby's food. We, too, are disappointed that the "pattymelt" is no longer available. What a tasty sandwich. We could nt get enough of them. Please, please bring them back. We are very faithful customers.

I have a agree that when the downsized the subs, it was a bad move . My restaurant is not a franchise so im not sure about the rule with the coupons but ive never heard of it. In my opinion, when it comes to our food, the coupons are the way to go, sorry to hear about that.

Arby's band aid sandwich

My husband and I went to the Arbys near our house and then parked in the lot to eat. As I was finishing my sandwich (which was just a regular arbys melt we got the 5 for 5.95) I found a band aid it in! I was so grossed out I spit that bite back in the wrapper and proceeded to puke. I went back in with the bag of food, everything else was still in there minus one band aid sandy and whatever my husband had eaten up til the point when we found the nasty band aid. The girl at the counter said and I quite, "EWW! That's Quincy's!" Then everyone disappeared to the back, where she was obviously repremanded for admitting the band aid came from an employee. The manager returned the counter and stated everyone is wearing gloves and nobody has any cuts. So they gave me my $ back without even saying sorry or anything. I told the person walking in the restuarant be careful I just found a nasty band aid in my sandwich, and so the manger called the cops on me, I didn't realize it was ILLEGAL to warn someone about their nasty hygiene practices! Then she even followed me outside to get my car/plate information. So I waited for the cops to come so I could explain what happened. So not only did they serve up a band aid, call the cops on me and be rude she then LIED to the cops! SHe told the cops I was running around the store yelling at everyone that I had "food poisoning" Which never even came up in the conversation AT ALL. I am a nurse, so I happen to know that food bourne illnesses don't manifest themselves for 24-48 hours. What I was, however, worried about was any sort of disease the person wearing the band aid may have had, and blood bourne pathogens (e.g. hep a b or c and HIV) Then she had the oudasity to tell the cops I "Just wanted my Money back." Excuse me ###? I should have said "Your the one working in arbys when your 40 what did u drop out of elementary school" My car is probably worth more than the ### dump housing project she crawled out of.
Also, the Quincy character that supposedly was wearing his gloves (or so says the managment) came in from smoking his cigarette (or weed cigarette) from the back and only had on one glove. So he was only wearing one glove to begin with and was smoking with it without washing his nasty black hands. He looked stoned, the only white part on him (his eyes) werent even white they were red from the crack he'd just sizzled down.
So I even called the corporate offices. To which I never recieved a phone call back, so I called again and was told "We have nothing to say to you, we've filled out a claim and sent it to our insurance co. we have nothing to do it with it anymore."
Nicely handled, I must say. ### arbys and all the ### ###s who work there.

@Nightrain im not calling you a liar but you are mistaken the way arbys "meat" is prepared is by sorting out the lean and the fatty and chopping them up into a paste then combining them to the right consistency for lean/fatty then superheating them into almost dust then compressing and freezing them and shipping them to arbys as small cubes, then these cubes are put into a machine like a breadmaker that adds water and cooks it untill its like... a loaf of bread this is sliced and put on the sandwitches this is done to PREVENT samonella and such diseases from occuring in the meat (and to keep big fatty chunks out of there sandwitches ) because the meat is preapred like this it cannot get "slimey" like normal meats... if they got samonella it wasnt from that, although i feel extremely bad for your wife and son.

as for the person who posted this complaint. You are a ###ing liar go to hell, that is all.

I just want to say that I am sorry about your expierince. Its rediculous that these people arent held to a better set of quality when it comes to serving customers. The general manager should definetly start looking for a better staff, because those people are going to chase away customers and give a bad rep for the employee's who do thier job the right way.

Wedenesday night ?, October 29, 2008, my wife (61) and son (31) visited Arby's at 118 Federal Road in Danbury, Connecticut. She had a "French Dip" sandwich containing sliced beef, and our son had a regular Arby's Roast Beef sandwich. Within 8 hours my wife became seriously ill with all the symptoms of Samonella food poisoning. On the morning of Friday, October 31st our son became violently ill.  Both have since reported that the beef seemed slimy and didn't taste right.  Other than the Arby's meal, I have ingested the very same food as the rest of my family, and have had no symptoms at all.

My wife has had two serious operations on multiple hernias during the past four years, and the effect of the wretching has been catastrophic, leaving her quite unable to move at all.

I went to an Arbys in Dunkirk New York and ordered a Turkey Bacon Club. When I opened up the package and took a bite out of the sandwich all I got was a mouth full of bread. There was hardly anything in the sandwich. When I complained to the girl all she did was smile and say there was nothing she could do about it and that it was the way they came. I was not very happy as I hadn't been there in a while was really looking forward to going to Arbys. I felt that they should have at least made me a better sandwich or returned my money.

Arby's manager

I was at a Chattanooga Arbys and a hungry couple came in and wanted to work for food. They looked pitiful and hungry. When they talked to the manager we over heard the conversation and we were so surprised he turned this man and pregnant woman away. How do you turn away hungry people? I wrote about the full account here. Please read it and tell me what you think should have been done. You can leave a message at the end of the article or here.

LOL< take your complaints to management, they'lll replace your order. But anyways, I agree with Shane, Its hard to say that management should let them work because thats a hazard or a bunch of different levels but, to just turn them away was wrong. I think they should have atleast been given a meal or told to fill out an application and have the management work with them towards possibly sttarting a Job. Its hard to say if these people were honest or not and letting them in the back could have given them oppurtunity to do God only knows what. I would have atleast payed for them to have a meal, it makes me sick to thinnk that even here in America, people are starving to death...

Well maybe you would be happy if they let them in to make your food, also insurance would not allow it, if they got hurt I would be you would not be there next week when the food prices doubled to cover the cost. I work in food service and guess what we are in business to make money just like any company, may be if you opened up your checkbook or wallet and gave them money they would not have to beg.

Arby's roast beef

Heck, I know it's cheap, five roast beef sandwiches for five bucks! But you get what you pay for, and the roast beef looks phoney and tastes like pressed sawdust. I go to a real roast beef barbeque restaurant and pay $8.00 for a decent meal with real good barbeque. It's worth it to pay three times as much as to eat this cheap filler food. I know, slop the hogs, just like hogs at the trough, eating Arby's or even Taco Bell, although, it fills an empty stomach on a budget. But I seldom go back to Arby's, the only thing I really like there are their Jamocha milk shakes. I much prefer Taco Bell's food to Arby's'.

Barbecue? Blecch! My "beef" with this outfit is that they apparently dropped the Super Arby with lettuce and tomato. I was willing to go there for a (rather pricey) roast beef sandwich and nothing else really.. So tomatoes and lettuce are too expensive? Instead they're hawking turkey sandwiches. Who on earth goes to Arby's for turkey sandwiches? It is (or was) a roast beef outfit. NO junk on it, just roast beef, lettuce and tomato if you want it, and pay a little more. What's the big deal? Not everybody is on the down low.

Come to think of it, if they still had the Super Arby I really couldn't know because, like McDonalds, they scramble that menu up with all those idiotic other things they sell (that have nothing to do with roast beef) and all those "meal deals" which by the way was one of the reasons I never go to McDonalds anymore. I know what the heck I want and always order just what I want...a la carte, If I can't find the item and its price clearly on the menu, I walk - with my money in tow.

Arby's poor customer service!

Yesterday my kids, sil, nephew went to the mall. All the kids decided they wanted to eat in the food court. My 12 yr old nephew and 14 year old son went off to order from Arby's.

I could see them from where we were sitting. The line was huge with customers waiting to order. My son comes back with his food. Nephew is still waiting as I could see. He finally brings his food to the table and says he was waiting on a cup of cheese. He returns to wait some more. Now mind you I can see the counter from where I am and he is standing alone with no other customers at the pick up counter. I see him leaning on the counter doing that drumming thing with his hands that boys always do. He came back and said a girl walked right up and asked for cheese and the employee gave it to her and looked at him and said see how rude some people can be. I went up to the counter to find out what the problem is. I stood there a while before any one paid attention to me. I asked for a cup of cheese and this girl started SCREAMING at me that he was banging on the counter so she would not give him any. I apologized if she thought he was being rude but he didn't mean anything by it because he does it all the time. She just kept screaming at me and half of it I couldn't understand. I told her he was just a kid and he really didn't mean to be rude. She screamed she is a kid also because shes only 16 and then claimed she had 6 people waiting for their food before him. I told her I could see from where I was sitting and there was no one else there so she was choosing to ignore him. I turned to walk away and she called me a B####! I asked for a manager and a man came from behind an area where he was preparing food. He spoke no English so that was going to be a problem. I asked a 3rd lady that was there for a corporate number.

No one could find one. I asked for the managers name or owner. All 3 just kind of looked at each other and one said Well, maybe Donna. I asked for the girls name that called me the name. No one would tell me. There was a huge line of people waiting to order and I was so embarrassed that everyone was witnessing this so we walked away. I arrived home and went on line to find some info. Found a number and called but the lady they said I needed to talk to was out and leave a voice mail. I did and am still waiting to hear from her.

the lobby was a complete mess and it took the cashier 10 mins to come take our order. The person that was making food didnt have gloves on and stuck his hands in his pocket and messed with it and then made food. the cashier couldnt figure out how to ring in the sandwiches for good few mins.

Purchased my first Arby's cheesesteak sandwich on 10/21/2023 and was disappointed at what I received. The sandwich was 100% unlike your televised advertisement. I recommend to not advertise what you can't deliver.

My son and i visited the Arby's in Grants Pass Oregon a week ago and we both ordered the cheese steak sandwich for the first and last time. Neither one of us were able to finish it due to the tastless goop which the sandwich had in it. THIS IS NOTHING LIKE THE COMMERCIAL!

Store manager is rude and treats her employees like crap. Some managers below her yell at other employees and belittle them. I’ve seen mice in the location. Most employees eat whatever they want when they want it but are rude when employees ask for breaks.

I got excited when I saw I could order 5 for $5.00 classic cheddar if I installed the app.

So I installed the app only to find out there must be a "qualifying order" of 5 at regular price.

Sunday 07/02/2023 at 7pm.

The total bill for a special was over $21.00

I hate being scammed so I went to Burger king and got a $14.27 meal for 2
