on 12-20-08 I Sent in all the paperwork and documents they requested. I contacted them the next day to make sure they recieved my info and that it was done correctly, they said they got it and everythinng looks good. They also said that I should have no contact with my mortgage company, and that they would be handeling it when the paperworkwas turned in.
Well on 1-26-09, I called my mortgage companys, because I am behind on my payments, to let them know I am trying to get the situation under controll.(I have mortgages with 2 companys they are handeling.) Both of my mortgage companys have no forms stating apply 2 save will be handeling my loans. I know I signed the "letters of authorazation" because I had to do it 2 times.
So then I contacted Apply 2 save, to see what the status of my account was, I didnt tell them I talked to my mortgage companys. My account handeler told me he couldnt access my info yet and that his assistant had my paperwork, and the assistant happened to be sick that day. The next day I called and spoke with the assistant, he the told me he needed more of my updated pay stubs and to fill out a new form that countrywide requires for its costomers. I just said ok.
If the info was sent in the first time I wouldnt need more paystubs. If I never called to check my account they probly never would have told me about the aditional paperwork or stubs. I had to call them many times to find this information out. this is the main reason I think there riping me off, If they were as good as said they would have called right away. This assistant is the 3rd person handeling my account since I started 2 months ago.
I am willing to talk to any one else who was with apply to save?

We just received a notice of Chapter 7 Bankruptcy for creditors from the US Bankruptcy Court in Idaho. If you are expecting money back, you can forget about it. So much corruption.

My story reflects just about every comment posted. I am so disgusted with the idea that this company has gotten away with so many ppl's money. I don't believe they started out being a scam but they were incompetent and in over there head and as a result ppl in desperate need are the ones are suffering. The reason I said I don't believe they are a scam is because they gave me a refund when I put in my 1st refund request. Then about 5 mos later, after rendering no results I decided to request a full refund. Someone called me from the quality assurance dept. They left a message saying they want to review the refund request. They left a number, extension to call. I called the next day and all I got was a busy signal and all my e-mails came back as a failed attempt. In conclusion I gained absolutely nothing and lost valuable time and $1, 000.00.

We have paid apply to save over $1500 for our application to be processed. Because they said we would be contacted within 7-10 days (over a month ago) we have been trying to call only to get a busy signal, and a non-existant web page. Is there anyone that knows how to get our money back? my family of 5 will now be homeless because we used our entire savings to pay for this modification. an advice would be helpful.

As a former employee of appy2save they have been handing out bad checks. I believe there will be a lawsuit against this company. If your thinking about working for this company please dont. It has caused me distress in cashing my check at my bank and then a week later no funds. The human resource Lady has called and said funds are available now but embarassment hit me when I went to Bank of America again and no funds were there. I am filing a claim against this company, because integrity and character is what I look for in a company and a company that is handing out bad checks, and not paying ontime is not integrity. I know there are many former employees or employees that this is happening to dont' be afraid to stand up so this company does not do this again.

I just emailed the attorney that was listed above. I, too, am stuck with Apply2Save. I am a widow with 3 kids, in a 7 year ARM. Apply2Save said they would negotiate my loan with GMAC to get my rates lower and back to a 30 year fixed. I never speak to the same person twice, have to re-fax papers ("because GMAC has a new financial statement set-up") . . . . it was the SAME information they got the second time around! This am, a lady called saying she needed me to fax a couple of papers needed to complete the reveiwing process. I told her that I DID THAT ON APRIL 6! I have the confirmation page saying they received it. She told me that she would look for it and "". Not a word since. I just tried to "online chat" and it kept sending me to the sign up for help with re modifying your home with Apply2Save. While I was emailing the attorney, I got an email (from Erica?) stating "while you were offline" the chat feature failed to reach me. I returned the email with the fact that I am tired of the run around and, by the way, I was never offline!

I'm very sorry you were ripped off by A2S. I'm working with the FTC and doing everything I can to bring them down and get the victims compensation. You can read my post today, but if you would please help our case by contacting the FTC at 1.877.FTC.HELP and filing an individual complaint. I am a former employee and am bringing more current and past employees forward. We need help with as many homeowners contacting the FTC as soon as possible to move this case faster. You can also email me your contact info at cordillaanne@gmail.com. I'm putting together as much information as I can to take to court.
THank you...

Apply 2 Save is now operating under Federal Loan Modification Law Center. Beware both companies! It is a boiler room practice--all sales people and nothing else. If you have been ripped off by this company, please contact classactionig@aol.com. This is the attorney that is handling investigating the case. WE NEED AS MANY PEOPLE AS POSSIBLE TO COME FORWARD.

I am going through the same thing as everyone else. I initially applied in September 2008. I was told NOT to pay my mortgage or be in contact with my mortgage company at all. In December I called to get an update as I was told I would most likely be starting my new mortgage payments in January of 09. Coincidentally, when I called, the woman, Corin Keeter, that I had been dealing with all along...was "NO LONGER WITH THE COMPANY" and that she was let go for telling people NOT TO PAY THEIR MORTGAGE. I am now out of $1000. I have called several times since, I spoke with Jacob and was told by him, he was "looking into our account" and that was a month ago. I have yet to hear back from him. I called today and spoke with Andre, he said he would go and talk to Jacob as he could NOT pull up our account...I have 5 children and this has turned out to be a DISASTER. I am currently fighting foreclosure and feel absolutely helpless.

We are going through the same thing. We have sent our paperwork in timely and repeatedly. We have had several different people "handling our case" . We are no better off then we were before we started. In fact, we are worse off as we are down 600$. If you are thinking of using this company, don't. If anyone knows how to get your money back please post as right now we could use the 600$ more then anything they have done for us. Thankyou.

Augusta, Ga
I also have submitted paperwork to Apply 2 save. I initiated my process in Dec. 2008. It is now Feb. 2009 and still I have not received any positive feedback. If Apply 2 save is not a reputable company, why would Countrywide place them on there website as one to refer to in assisting with back payments. I paid $1000 up front. Is there any thing that can be done about this company. This week I have received an offer from Countrywide to assist with a loan modification with a 5 year fixed rate. I am presently trying to get from under an ARM /ballon loan. There has got to be someone out there who can give us guidance on how to handle our situations with Apply 2 save. I attempted to call the representative today, only to be told that he is off today. When forwarded to his voicemail, it stated the person I was trying to contact was not subscribed. When I called back, the individual taking the call said he would take my name and number and have the rep. to return my call. Again, is there some way to check out this company, why do the mortgage company have them on there web site to refer to for help and is there any way to get money back. Can somebody help us!

There are many complaints about Apply 2 Save on the web. They may not be crooks, but at the very least they are incompetent. If you're thinking of doing business with these people, don't! Talk to your mortgage people directly, and if they won't help, visit a *local* reputable office - one set up by a local government - to deal with the issue.
