I have had the worst experience. This is how the company works Metro photography is Apple models. Apple models is metro photography. (Click on all the words that are highlighted for links) Apple models is a Scam Apple Models /metro photography review both apple models and metro photography work together under the same manager in the same building 5-8 Warwick street, Piccadilly, London, W1b 5lx Apple models takes up one of the rooms in the basement and metro photography use the rest of the basement for the photo shoot. To get to apple models you walk in to Hammersley house past the elevators down the stairs most of it is metro photography. The door with the code is apple models. Apple models will call everybody that applies to there website or advert. They will book pretty much anyone in. It has NOTHING to do with what you look like you just have to breathe! Apple models will book you in to have a shoot with metro photography . Metro photography will sell you the portfolio. The more people apple models sends to metro photography. The more portfolios metro photography sell. The more portfolios metro photography sell the more money metro photography make. The more metro photography make the more metro photography pay apple models for sending them customers. So apple models gets paid according to amount of people they send metro photography. Apple models (apple models is just a sales team) couldn’t attract that many people if they told the truth. I mean what are they going to do sit in a office calling people saying “hi would you like to come for a shoot with are partnered company metro photography, metro photography will do your hair and make up and you can buy some images that start at £50. Yes £50 pounds for one. No! That’s not going to make them a lot of money. Not that many people would say yes to that . People don’t have money to waste on images that have no purpose. So apple models create a purpose. They make you apply to them under force pretences. The impression that you get from apple models is that they can help you become a model . But you need to go to metro photography to see if you can model before they help you . (which is what they tell you on the phone) but what they don’t tell you on the phone is that you need to buy a portfolio from metro photography in order for them too help you. They tell you on the phone that they can help you, you look good and you could work for this company that company and the other, you can get paid this much. They paint a mental image in your head of what it could be like if you was to be a model. They do this is So you want it more. Now your excited you want to go to metro photography to see if you really have potential. Don’t forget in order to book an appointment in with metro photography you have to pay Apple models your £50 deposit. Now apple models say the £50 deposit is to make sure you show up. That is true .The only truth you will get out of them. They need you to show so metro photography can convince you to spend more money. Metro photography don’t see if you can model! TO be fair there not qualified! They just make you feel good and tell you you can model so you buy the pictures. Metro photography will pressurise you into buying a portfolio they will tell you everyone needs a portfolio to model, also Apple models the people that booked you in can’t help you unless you buy these images. Agencies can’t market you without a portfolio is what they will say to convince you. You don’t want to miss out you have such an amazing look. You should be able to get work in a few weeks with these images. You can pay it off if you want. (They don’t tell you if you don’t finish the payments the for the images they will sell your details to the debt collectors. So they still make money.). So they put you under pressure. You start to think “I spoke to apple models they never really told me I would need a portfolio. I really enjoyed the day getting my hair and make up done. I enjoyed being photographed. I wants to be a model, they told me I could be model. I got loads of compliments. In order to be a model and really get out there I might as well pay off this portfolio and then apple models can get her some work. So whether you pay it of then or in a few months apple models can’t help you. Once you send them your images they send you a list of agencies they found on google. You know the ones you could have found yourself. So you send the modelling agencies, Apple models sent you the photos you bought from metro photography. The responses tend to go You need to come for a test shoot with us ( which means there a similar company and they are scamming you in the same way. You could of just sent us a head shot or a full body shot. ( which means you didn’t need to spend hundreds or thousands on images) Are books are full You have to pay us a fee to find you jobs. (Illegal agencies that doesn’t really find you the work. Noooooooooo So you go back to apple models to tell them of your troubles. Hoping that you haven’t wasted money on photos that you don’t really need . They don’t care about you! They are trying to scam the knew applications they got so they can make more money. You are of no benefit to them any longer. They will avoid you until you get bored and go away. Why not just go down there and demand your money back. Both apple models and metro photography are owned by mr Eric silver 52 ( just kidding that’s not his real name he changed it) We know him as Duncan. But to put the companies under Mr Duncan Johnson Delves would be a big mistake. Why! Because Mr Duncan Johnson Delves 52 ( here is another link telling you about Mr Duncan Johnson Delves http://www.endole.co.uk/profile/1584268/duncan-johnson-delves) owned mint models and form models. Another sales team that sent people to Neptune studios. They did the same thing apple models and metro photography are doing. But these company got shut down due to bad press and being publicly exposed on BBC 1 (rip of Britain). So why would Duncan keep his name (if Duncan was even his real name to begin with) oh Yh he didn’t he changed it to mr Eric silver so people wouldn’t link his old companies to his new companies. I mean these companies make so much money he wouldn’t want previous negative press to affect his current success scamming people. http://www.datalog.co.uk/browse/detail.php/CompanyNumber/06219341/CompanyName/FASHION+WORLD+IMAGING+(LONDON)+LIMITED . A turn over of 6.5 million a year. Wooooooooow. Somebody stop this man. Everyone’s getting scammed. Because Duncan or Eric ( call him what ever you want ) made so much money scamming people. He wasn’t going to change what he was doing ! Just his name and the companies names. he obviously didn’t want to keep the bad press and have people find out who the mastermind behind all of this is. Duncan delves / Eric silver. Theres got to be a law your crossing. It’s got to be illegal to make millions yearly when the people your making millions from aren’t benefitting what so Ever!

I purchased a number of photos and a web portfolio from Metro Photography a couple of years ago, only a few weeks ago did I decide to see whether I could use it and get anywhere in the modelling industry, so I emailed them just asking whether I could access my website, myself, they replied with an email basically asking for an extra £50 just to update it, after me declining to pay it because it should already fully belong to me, they have suddenly decided to delete it, I have a receipt from them saying I bought the web portfolio and the modelling images, do you think I have a case if I was to try and take them to court about this? Please get back to me, I don't just want to let this go and for them to keep getting away with scamming and bullying people. Thanks

I have just escorted a friend for a photo shoot to orange models. After being in the industry for a number of years I have plenty of understanding on how it works.
You have to ask yourself, the make up artists, the hair stylist, the photographer, the building, the receptionist, the staff, the time (need I go on)... How do you expect them to be paid? How much do you think it would cost for the shoot? Well it's costing you nothing.
The Costs come after, or do you expect that for free also?
I find it really hard to read such negative comments. It is after all, a business...
As I have said I have been in the industry for some time and I have been through the mill with plenty of companies however I believe my friend has landed on her feet at orange models. Completely professional from start to finish, and the cost is no different from the next company that conduct the process in exactly the same way. I have been in some slums, had some awful images and I have been treated terribley by some companies. I would recommend orange models without a shadow of a doubt.
We are so happy with the images! and the follow on care she has received so far.
Nothing in life is free and anyone serious about furthering there career knows that investment is the key!

I agree, I went to the shoot myself and had some of the worst makeup and hairdos in my life, I have been shown my photos only after I made payment for a platinum package (GBP1950)and I was told its doesn't matter that I don't like them, as she (the saleswoman) "knows better what the industry needs". Lol. I believed her even though I thought that the best thing to do with most photos would be to delete them. None of the people I saw in the studio appears on the Metrophotography website under Staff. The photographer and makeup people are probably just trainees who practice what they learnt on a short-term course. Both Orange models and Metrophotography 's websites are down and inaccessible most of the time, especially weekends and evenings. In Google search you can see positive reviews about them on first pages, if you go further you can get to real stuff about the scammers. My advice to all wannabe models would be - read what you sign, do not sign contracts on the premises as you will not have automatic cooling off period unless you are absolutely sure you wont regret it, always think about the payment you are about to do and do not let anyone pressurise you, if they tell you that your pictures will be deleted upon your exit from the studio be alerted straight away, no one has the right to force you into anything in this dishonest way, and the last and not least - know yourself and don't just believe anyone who sings your praises

I have found out that Orange Models are part of this scheme and I will be looking into it further. Lying to people on a personal level like their image to make money is morally wrong as it is. I will be searching deeper into this. I'm coming Eric.
