I was charged 19.95 for something I never agreed to be charged for I was told when I called that it is in the fine print when you run a back round check on soeone and they send you an email telling you all about the service they offer. Well I never got an email and if I did I deleted because I didn't know who it was from!!! This is crazy!!! The web site is privacymatters.com and the toll free number is 1888-840-6301.

PMI Identity is a scam company set up to rip you off... i clicked on Intellius.com is how is started and they charged my credit card account $19.95 for 3 months ... i called them and they never took off the charges so i had the credit card company cancel my account and turned PMI Identity in for fraud......these people neeed to be prosecuted badly and i am hoping to put these scam artists out of business and they belong in jail.

I also was charged 19.95 from this company unauthorized. I called the company, and did get customer service. They insisted I accepted their services and that I had received an email confirmation with enrollment membership id. I never received any of this. After a little bit of arguing they did cancel my service and say my account would be credited in 3 days. We'll see.

I have unauthorized charges to my account of $14.95. I have complained to my bank Wachovia and still my account has been debited since December. I am not happy with this company or WACHOVIA!

Ok: Another ap9*pmidentity.com complaint. This company has got to be put out of busines.

They did it again, after I had the first one reversed, they got my account again.

I'm going to research the conpany and go to the appropriate authorities and (I will) have then shut down. You wait and see. They are nothing but a fraud.

My wife bought a $2.95 Intelius report in April 2008 and then without our consent my credit card was charged $19.95 from Pmidentity.com one week later and again in May 2008.

I called Pmidentity at 800-436-0817 to cancel. The limited menu of automated choices did not offer an option to talk to a human being or to receive credit for the $19.95 charges. After listening to the voice menu and not making any selection, the menu eventually timed out and my call was transferred to a service rep. The rep agreed to credit my credit card company within 2-3 business days.

These slimeballs have a finely tuned scam model, which relys on a large percentage of people not detecting the $19.95 charges or demanding refunds. For those that want refunds, they have to overcome obstacles like the call center automated menu. Unfortunately I canceled my credit card before I called Pmidentity so now I have to rejigger all of my automatically billed charges. THESE GUYS ARE CRIMINALS.

This company charged me $20 on my Amex bill (three different times). I did'nt catch it until the second charge. When I called this company to inquire who they were and what they sold I was hung up on! I called Amex and they took all three charges off my bill.
