One year ago, I ordered a purebred akc certified golden retriever puppy from anypets.com. This cost me over $1100 (including airfare). When I received the puppy she had health problems (she ended up in the pet hospital), she also didn't look like the original photo of the puppy I had purchased. I immediately contacted the company numerous times (via email and telephone) without any direct answers. I was given the 'run around'. When I asked about her 'papers' I was told it could take up to six months for these to arrive.

I tried to get a refund from my credit card company, but the amount of additional evidence required and the time constraints left me stranded. Now that the puppy is a year old, it is clear that she is not pure bred, akc certified and I have yet to receive her registration papers.

After reading several other accounts of reported fraud from this company, I am feeling victimized and would like to pursue this matter further. I understand that you may already have a file on this company? If so, please contact me asap. at the email address provided. Help! I've been scammed. Also, anyone who has been scammed by this company please pursue it along with me. It is wrong and we can prevent others from losing thousands of dollars. We are planning on keeping the puppy, but she is not the puppy we were promised.

did you purchase this puppy from pet peoples or a breeder useing here services, If a breeder useing there services than it is not pet peoples fault. If you purchased threw a direct breeder than you must have that breeders adress and name. Turn them into AKC as selling a non pedigree dog as a papered AKC, If they do have pedigree dogs they do breed and this was a ccidental breding of different dog than AKC will investicate unfortunetly there are dishonest people out there and I hope you did not fall for one of those out of the Country scams
