Same thing happened to a customer, although how don't know how much his cc was billed.
The program is a fraud, does nothing but screw-up the computer.
Was able to recover emails from these sobs. Will submit everything to RCMP and fellow techs, and how to get rid of their ''program''

Same thing happened to me. Unbelievably dumb of me to purchase the product from Micro Antivirus 2009. This `company' is not located in Arizona. It's a Russian scam. Several things tipped me off to it being Russian, one of which is the timestamp on the e-mail sent by transaction@edirectsupport.com (7 hours ahead of Eastern Standard Time).

This outfit puts a virus on your machine and then tries to make you pay for a bogus antivirus program to take it off. The virus they put on your computer is a bad one. There is a special place in hell for psychopaths like the creators of this virus. I wish the FBI would hack into their systems and destroy their systems (and them).

I too have been scammed by micro-antivirus 2009! $92.90 worth, when I orignally only agreed to $49.99! It has taken me most of the day to try and get this vicious program off my brand new computer, and even now I'm not sure it's completely gone. When I realized that this program was a virus, I checked my bank statement and that's when I found out that in addition to screwing up my computer, they had overcharged my account to do it! I tried to contact them for a refund, giving my reasons "why", and when I clicked on "submit", 8 times, nothing happened. I called my bank, my online statement showed that this charge was "pending" and I thought I could stop it from going through. Not so. I have to wait until it goes through before I can appeal it. This company needs to be turned over to the Attorney General's Office for fraud, and malicious mischief! Anyone know the origin of this company?

I have been fighting this darn Mirco Antivrus both
2008 and 2009. It is driving me crazy. I really don't know what to do. I am going to email the Federal Trades Commission, and I'm also emailing the Federal Crimes Commission, it may not do me any good.
But, that is what they are in office for to investigate
CRIMES. And that is what this is a crime against American Citizens.
If I have any luck, or get an answer, it will be a miracle.

i had the same viruses associated with antivirus2009. It really screwed up my computer. avg free 8.0 from download.com removed it and all of its components. It also removed several trojan horses and tracking viruses.

My computer was absoutly frozen because of this anti virus thing. so I decided I would have to buy it at 47.00 and it still would not let my computer work. I requested a refund and recieved it and then was charged again 3 days later not 47.00 but 82.90. I felt like i was at their mercy because my computer would not work at all.

I also tried the antivirus software (MS AV LICENSE PURCHASE) but never got far as my pc started to act strange immeditately.
Checked the pc at pc-shop where the found spyware all over my pc. Had never any problems before.
Try to get a refund for the whole amount.
