Is AnastasiaDate.com run by pedophiles? By that I mean are its owner, David Besuden and Chief Strategy Officer Mark Brooks, pedophiles? Well, I'm not saying that they are but it's very possible.

What makes me say that? A couple of things. I've seen other guys who actually gave them their credit cards, which I have to laugh at because the sites are obviously fake ("A Russian supermodel with an airbrushed pic is dying to meet me? She wants me so bad that she's sent 8 unsolicited emails in just a few hours? Wow, it's my lucky day!"). I assumed possible-pedophiles David Bedusen and Mark Brooks would at least be minimally sleazy such that they would honor their own 'unsubscribe' link but I was wrong. I woke up the next day with over 100 spam messages from them, and now in the last few days I've gotten over 100 more, with no end in sight. Some of these spam messages, you click on the unsubscribe link and then it takes you to the account that they so nicely created for you, with no option of deleting it or unsubscribing to it.
Does all of this prove inconclusively that David Bedusen and Mark Brooks are pedophiles? Not quite. But does it make it reasonable to speculate that they are? Absolutely.

Considering this elderly lady to be in her 70s and a possible victim of a scam I replied the following day after her fake 55th birthday Russian time.

On 31 December I tried Free Chat and opted out each time during the free period but kept receiving alerts on my mobile my credit card had been charged NZ$25 each time. My 4th Free chat lasted 6 seconds and was terminated immediately after I typed Anastasiadate had just stolen $75 from my credit card account and another NZ$25 was stolen. A total of $100 was stolen by Anastasiadate.
So I spent the next 4 weeks hacking. I found her old profile pics filed in the database named "Gorgeous Girls Only: XXXXXXX from XXXXX"
The user of the profile requested recent pics of myself and family but made excuses not to send the same in return such as travelling hundreds of Kms to look after an elderly aunt who was very ill who had no relatives to look after her and would send pics when she returned home.
I photographed inapropriate pop-up Free Chat messages appearing on my screen.
I informed person using the victim's profile that she was the only person I was writing to and attached a pic of Free Chat asking "U like putting it in other hole" and here is the response from a 70 year old Authodox Christian:

Well, all girls on this site are real, but they are not seeking relationships. They have their own lives and boyfriends in real life. I had to pay for chatting and sending letters. I met a girl there and we had some kind of relationship, and we promised to communicate more outside of this website. But, of course, we never met each other in real life. Several months passed and as I wanted a real life relationship. But the girl always told that she is too shy, or not ready. I asked her to please give your Skype or phone number. But she preferred chatting only on Anastasia date. All those girls are just taking your money and they are absolutely not interested in you. It costed me thousands dollars and I can only blame myself for that. This site is a real trap for single men. Do not use this site!

Without a doubt, the site has loads of profiles with photos of very beautiful women. Unfortunately, whether you read messages, send replies, chat or even view attached photos & videos, this site charges you for pretty much *everything*, and these 'beautiful women' (assuming they're real) use every trick in the book to lure you into reading one more message, writing one more reply, chatting for one more minute and viewing one more photo or video... and all that keeps the AnastasiaDate.com cash register ringing at an alarming rate. I currently live in Kiev, Ukraine, and I only contacted girls who speak English and live in the exact same city. So lining up a date on this site should have been at least as easy as any of the free sites I've used to find dates in the same place, right? Unfortunately, it wasn't. With the goal of spending as little as possible, simply to verify that this site would lead to at least one real-life date, I spent over $200 USD in just 5 days, received replies from over 40 girls, and ended up with nothing but more invitations to keep emailing and chatting, longer and longer, adding more and more $100+ charges to my credit card. Additionally, the profiles and messages I saw seemed VERY fake to me, and having used online dating services for years, I can spot a fake a mile away. And the girls almost always write back within 24 hours. Does that sound normal for an online dating site to you? It sure doesn't to me, but I'm sure it helps keep that cash register ringing. When you bring all this up with one of the very friendly customer service people, they'll happily send you a link to their 'anti-scam policy, ' which they seem to think should convince us that we're not being scammed. But the fact is, if someone can live in Kiev, speak Russian, and not set up a single date with a girl who lives in the SAME CITY after hearing back from 40+ girls and spending $200+, when free or super-cheap sites like Badoo, OkCupid and VK work perfectly well, it's safe to say that AnastasiaDate falls far, far short of delivering what it promises.

Hi Everyone, This has been enlightening. I have been on Anastasiadate.com for a few years. I sure wish that I’d been award of this before being burned. During the last few years I’ve spent thousands of dollars on the service, as well as two trips over there to Odessa and Dnepropetrovsk. TOTAL SCAM is all I can say. Several girls I had been writing to for months refused to meet with me. Some girls who I was supposed to have been chatting with and talking to, I actually met. But when I met them it became obvious that they had not been the ones writing to me and didn’t know anything about me. Some made it obvious when I first met them, they acted like they were so surprised that I look fairly handsome. Some even commented on this to the interpreters. I understand a little Russian and could tell they were commenting on my appearance. To even feel like a bigger fool, I even bought a diamond ring, worth thousands of dollars and fully intended to give it to someone. I did meet an independent interpreter who told me that she thought 80% or more of the women were scammers. She told me that she sees the ads for translators to pose as women from the site frequently. She says they offer from $900 to $1500 a month to do this. This is a huge salary in that country! Thankfully I met her and she was kind enough to show me around and spend some time with me so that I wouldn’t be so totally bored there. I had one girl who I’d been writing offer to come see me in Dnepr from Kherson, but that she would only be able to visit for a couple of hours. She said she needed $400 for the taxi ride. Certainly I have more money than sense because I agreed because we had the most amazing communication for several months. And she seemed so lovely and smart and sincere. When she arrived, my interpreter noticed that the plates on the taxi were Dnepropetrovsk plates. She said all the taxis had identification letters from the region they worked in. We checked on this, an sure enough it was true. So she must have taken a bus from Kherson for $20 or so and split the $400 with the driver. And like the other men, our meeting was very cool and non committal, with none of the sweet, loving talk we had been having for months. Scammed again! I work in film and tv and have written a screenplay about my experiences. It’s called “Odessa” and I hope it will help get rid of these agencies and women who scam the hell out of sincere and unsuspecting men like me. I also want to film a documentary on this, and alert some news magazine show like 60 minutes about this. And I would welcome any input into this that could help further this goal. We need to get the word out!
