My problem with this group is that I explained in detail what were my wishes to the paralegal and then when the contract was written up - it did not show what I stated and what was agreed upon. My father passed away only a few days before this and I was not actually thinking very clearly at the time. I expressly wanted the foreclosure summary judgement to be cancelled, however, the contract stated that they would accept the summary judgement and ask for a 120 day delay. At the time that I signed the agreement, I did not realize that what was written was ABSOLUTELY NOT what I had talked to them about and I signed it.

Two days later, I was re-reading the agreement late at night. That's when I realized that it was not what I wanted. Since the hearing was only a few hours away, I panicked and I sent them scan copies of documents that I wanted them to present, to show reason for the cancellation of the summary judgement. Right now, I don't remember if I previously sent them any of the documents or not. If I did, then why didn't they understand and write the agreement correctly? If I did not, then why didn't they ask for them when the paralegal said she understood that I wanted the judgment cancelled?

I think it is because the paralegal just talked a lot and said a lot of things and never reported what I wanted to the lawyers. Then she just wrote up the contract and everyone was on the easiest and least cumbersome path to get easy money. As it turned out. The trial was a zoom / telephone call and my case was the very first one of the morning. 9 AM. By 9:08 AM the summary judgement was cancelled. The contract that I signed said that I was entitled to cancel the contract within 3 days with NO PENALTIES. That means a full refund. Since, I was within the 3 days time and since I was completely exasperated at how they ignored my wishes, I send the refund request.

For several days, they refused to grant the refund and they tried to claim that they could bill me for hourly charges and that in court they argued ' vigorously ' on my case to get the results that I wanted. My counter was that they ignored me and if I hadn't (at the last minute) send them the documents and correct the misunderstanding that the outcome would not have been what I wanted, it would have been an agreement to the summary judgment and a 120 day delay on proceeding...

They are UNRELIABLE, the paralegal will tell you what you want to hear, then you may get a contract written that is not what you talked about, but is what is the easiest way for them to get your money and move on... When the attorney wrote me about how valiant and rigorous was her representation - I wrote back - wow you must really think that spending 5 minutes pointing at documents, that I sent you, means that you fully deserve to be paid $ 1,600? What about the trouble and consternation that I went through when I figured out that you firm completely ignored my wishes. What about the fact that I cannot ever trust you again and I wish I would have never done any business with you at all. My desire was to cancel and get a refund because I very much think that they should be stung a little bit and maybe they will pay more attention to the client instead of ignoring them.

One thing is for sure, they will try to make sure that the next time they charge $ 1,600 for 5 minutes work, it will be much more secure from being ripped out of their vigorously and valiantly and courageously finger pointing hands.

This company is a scam. All they do is modify loan which you can call and do your self.
and when you try to cancel their service they charge you for and extra month $395.
Trust me don't waste you hard earned money on these idiots, especially their clerk Sherly is no good for not doing anything they charge fees. TRUST ME.
And they prolong answers till last minute to get more weeks and months out of your issues.
your 1st appt on phone for free is a sales person who tries to sell your case will be handled easily so easy smooth they'll offer world and Try to convince you.
They'll take $650 dollars for retainer first month fee than $395 their in which you never really see any Outcome from, all they do is modify really not battle for really outcome and you can do your self all this.

Retained this firm and seems to me they did what they wanted on case. Anyways the owner of this company sends me an email that he will issue me a full refund. His operations manager would contact me Monday. She did on Tuesday and only offering partial refund now. The owner should have not made me that offer of full refund if his operations manager changes to partial. owner is an attorney and to me the email I consider a legal contract. Still no refund. I have emailed them and let them know I will be filing complaints with ARDC and have started filing on line also. Still no reply to the post or emails
