Since when do 25 years-olds need facial skin-tightening? Well that's what American Laser Centers in Wauwatosa, WI are pawning off to everyone one with a reasonable cash flow or credit limit. I am currently out of $2,800 because I was told that skin tightening, microdermabrasion and hair removal would be the answer to my pore size. BUYER BEWARE.

I had a terrible experience at American Lasers Centers on Saturday. I was sold a treatment for cellulite called VELA SMOOTH (FDA APPROVED-as I was told). They told me that the treatment would be painless and guaranteed to work. The treatment was so painful that it brought me to tears. I told the practitioner to stop the treatment because I just couldn't stand the pain. She looked for another practioner to continue with the treatment using a different handle for the machine but it was still painful. It just came to the point where I had to really tell them to stop the treatment because it was simply extremely painful. I did not wish to go through with it. I was very upset. I was crying and their inquiries didn't help. They just made me feel really uncomfortable. I felt they were mocking my pain as I was asked questions like if I was ovulating, or if I was having my period or near my period for this would made me fell overly sensitive. The manager told me she has the procedure done to her and it feels like a walk in the park. Comments like this only contributed to my suffering at the moment. Not only had I'd been mislead into buying a treatment supposed to be pain free ,now I was made to be seen as overly emotionally sensitive and a lier. They made me feel as if Iwas lying about the pain I was experiencing during treatment. They also told me that this was the first time anyone had complaint about pain during this treatment. I don't believe it. I left the office feeling even more upset after speaking to the clinic manager. I told her that I wished to cancel the treatment since I just couldn, t bear the pain. She went on and on about how the treatment woul have helped me get rid off the cellulite. She also tried to sell me another treatment for more depilation or for the face since I had a purchase of $3,195 .00 done through a net service they offered me to pay for the treatment. I had never used this method of payment because for my previous treatments I had paid in full using my credit card. I wasn't given more information about the method of payment. I was simply told that it was like a credit card and that the information would be received by mail. I am worried about this now because I wasn't given a copy of this paper. The paper was used to check my credit and it showed an approval for $10,000. I asked the clinic manager about this approval but she told me that I had nothing to worry about since I was only going to be charged for the amount of value of the treatment bought. I have my concers about this now because I left the office been told that she would call me on Monday to see what action we would take. She insisted that I took a look at the website and read about the skin rejuvenation treatments in order for me to take them instead of the cellulite treatment. She told me to think about it. Quite honestly I am still extremely upset and I don't even want to visit that office anymore. I don't know what she is going to tell me tomorrow but I am hoping to get a refund and not to be mislead and pushed into eganging in a new treatment. I almost forgot...just before the treatment began I was told that the treatment required me to use a cream (sold by them and expensive) to massage my thighs and buttocks twice a day, eat healthy, and exercise. Because the treatment was effective due to 50% of my effort and 50% the machine. I believe this to be a fraudulent practice for selling any type of treatment. Also, now that I have seen many complaints on the internet about the company I am even more worried about been ripped off or having my credit damaged.
