Where Do I start with this place. I workout at Lifetime fitness and one day AML was there scamming good hardworking people like me. I was given a $50 gift card and my name was put into a drawing. later on I find out that I won a $300 package deal I went in for my free consultation with Michelle Levy I was doing my under arms at $1000 and a small body part at $2000 I told Michelle that I wanted to think about it, she said that the price is only good for today and that it would go up $1000 the next day. So I went for it paid in full. Later on I was looking at my papers and saw that I did not get my $50 or $300 discount but something wasn't right I go in to find out that she quit there was a new manger I forgot the CU**S name in nice words she agree with me that I wasn't given my discount but on top of it all I was given the wrong package deal the $850 more deal. so anyway the CU** tells me she will get back to me a week goes buy nothing I HAVE A $1200 credit now there I call her and she says that they can't give me a refund because Michelle not there anymore BUT,BUT they will do me the favor and put it towards a new package deal a deal where I would have to use more of my hard working money towards. she sees that I am upset and sees that I won't do any package deals well yea I was rip OFF HELLO. so she has the nerve to tell me that anything she does won't make me happy. Well you guys can give the money you guys stole from me a working class person. anyways she tells me to have a nice life... CLICK. I call head corp. But they where no help. I went to a new location in Farminghton Hills where they hire any crackhead off the street A girl there burned my under arm SIX TIMES,SIX. One was so bad that I had puss coming out now I have a dark tissue scar. Once your 6 treatments are done (you do get a 2 yr guarantee) and if they see that you not doing anymore package deals there just tooo busy to get you a APP. My sister called them 1-7-08 to do the same small body area they told $1200 but it would have to be that day or it would go up $1000, wonder where I've heard that before. when I paid $2083 to be exact. There is just sooo much more Please don't go there they have to be stop. this company preys on us they know in this world we all want to be the best we can be. Please don't give your hard working money to them. I bump into to a former coworker of mine took a job with them in novi and she said that they make up prices as they go and scam sooo much. there is more that I can't say I can't wait till my full 2yr is up. The best place to have Laser done is at a dermo office or plastic surgeon office. And my hair... it still grows like my husband facial hair and I've been going a year in feb. Good luck to anyone out there who wants to go to them cause they will LIE, SCAM, STEAL from you.

How come people only complain but nobody doesn't want to sue them?
In meantime they riping off thousands of dollars from hard working people
They charged me 2000 dollars for nothing! Hair thinning maybe but not hair removal.When I complained they used all possible tricks to get rid off me .
I hope that somebody will sue them and forever close the doors of that bad bad company.

Sounds like you have had a tough time of it. I can express to you that no one has scammed you in any sense. You are the one that wanted the services, and decided to purchase. We didn't hold you hostage and make you purchase. When you come into a consultation, the price you are offered is good for the day of consultation only. We have over 200 clinics, and do 1000's of treatments a day. What I can suggest, is contacting another close by clinic, explain your situation, and see if they can resolve any of these issues. I for one have been in this field of work for 16 years, I have never heard of some ones under arms pussing up as you stated. And if you were burned as you say 6 times..why in the world wouldn't you speak up after the very first incident? Its amazing how small problems that can easily be resolved end up being so dramatic on these websites. I know if some one burned me... I would definitely say something. This is a great company. I wish the millions of happy clients would have a website to post on!

To clinic manger have you read the other complaints. I guess working there scaming other people makes good money for you. Keep up the good job! Scam Lie Make more money. The american laser way Oh by the way Have pappers from the doctors and I come from a family of doctors don't need a tech of 16 yrs to tell me anything. Don't waste your time on commenting. Cause I am sure I have more to back me up. Get with it already.

I'm doing research on ALC before i go and have anything done "I just won one of the "$300" things. BUT everytime I go to a site where there is a complaint WHY WHY WHY is there the SAME EXACT generic response from ALC. If you want to respond, great all power to you, but wouldnt it be more effective to respond in a case by case manner instead of some generic response?
From all the stuff I've heard this doesnt sound right. And, besides, I can go to a great place less than 15 mins down the road and get my entire face done for $4-500, $100 each session. Seems a little more reasonable.

I use to work at alc too and I left due to:
~your lasers settings are so low they don't do squat! you keep them low so that people don't get the results they need to get and have to keep coming back...so you can upsell them some other ridiculous package that just won't work...oh my gawd, the upselling..it just doesn't quit! These poor people come in thinking that this idiot behind the desk is qualified...when in fact all she can do is sell. Yeah, yeah, yeah, so she is an aesthetician, big deal, I worked there without any prior knowledge of lasers what so ever...oh yes I was trained..in your ridiculous 2 day training...give me a friggin break.
~No matter how good the sales tricks are, your lasers are crap!
For everyone out there: if it is a new clinic, most likely they will only be able to have an IPL machine, that is Intene Pulsed Light...it will reduce hair...not stop the growth...ever.
~Their micro machine..again...low settings...so you won't get results so you have to keep buying more and more packages...if I had known this when I worked there (again, remember, I did not have any laser training prior) I never would have worked there.
Please, for your own sake, the sake of your health and safety, and the fact that you will get screwed out of every penny you owe, stay away from this place. Again, I use to work there. I know first hand what scum bags they are.
~There is a class action lawsuit being headed by Quat Law Offices in Massachusetts
~A class action law suit started by employees because they refuse to pay overtime. The law office for employees is in California, but it is a nation wide lawsuit. If you use to work for them and you are owed money, join it!
If it weren't for us, they never would have made the money they have made. They work you to the point of exhaustion and extreme fatigue but, it does not matter to them at all. I worked well over 40 hrs each week and never saw a dime extra.
I saw people with the same general complaint, "no results"
their 2 year guarantee is a joke...I saw people all the time that had already been past their 2 yr guarantee and the amount of hair they had was ridiculous. If I were them, I would surely have sued this company. I urge everyone reading this to sue this company. If enough people get together to do this, we can finally close down this horrible, horrible company

I completely disagree with the previous comment. As a former employee you would know that starting someone off with the lowest settings on treatments would depend on the persons skin type. So in this case it would be true however depending on the persons skin type is what determines what settings they would be on. Another thing what patients don't realize is that they need to keep their scheduled appointments it's done for a reason. Many people start their treatments and then don't come back for months at a time. You have to catch your hair growth at different stages and that is the reasoning behind scheduled appointments and keeping them.
