I bought this as a Christmas present for my fiance who likes modern furniture. I received the item and upon unpacking it, it seemed as though it had already been unpacked. The box was tattered and the packing tape had been retaped. Once I opened the product, I inspected it and found the underside fabric was torn where there was a piece of the wood frame supporting the center. It was not a large tear but it was a tear never-the-less. I decided that it was likely a used product sent by mistake so I repacked it immediately. Given that Christmas was a few days away, I went to a local furniture shop and found something similar to buy in time for Christmas.

I bought the product because it was on Amazon so I felt comfortable. I do understand Amazon uses 3rd party sellers and the return policy for this seller seemed straight-forward: if the product is damaged, they buyer can return it for a full refund. The seller has been trying to get the 15% restocking fee from the beginning of my communication with them. I dont think I should have to pay $100+ to them because they sent me a used product by mistake. They are claiming that there is no tear on the bottom fabric but that is absolutely not true and I am surprised they would blatantly lie like that. They have even sent me photos they took upon return of the product and the tear is shown (again, it is not big, but it is there and it is something I would consider as damage and would buy off a classified bulletin board).

At this point, I have requested them to refund me 100% of what I paid and I have disputed the charge through my credit card issuing bank. Stores123 have not replied to me with any message indicating they will provide me a 100% refund. They have offered to send me the product back (which I clearly do not want) or to pay a 15% restocking fee. I really feel extorted here as they are in clear violation of their return policy.

Avoid Stores123, third party seller for Amazon. Got an exercise bike from them and it was delivered in a badly damaged box. The bike frame was bent. Amazon has not assisted with this problem. Stores123 wants me to pack it back up in the damaged box and deliver it to the nearest UPS full service store - which is 38 miles away. They also want ME to pay the shipping fees!
I am now dealing directly with the manufacturer and American Express who is putting the charge on hold pending resolution.
Stores123 is not good!

3rd party seller Stores123 - Avoid it at all costs. Bought an exercise bike through Amazon Prime, Stores123. The box came very badly damaged, the frame of the bike was bent. Stores 123 wanted me to return it to them at my own cost and my own delivery to the nearest UPS (38 miles away.) Still no resolution and Amazon has bowed out of the discussions. I am now working with the manufacturer directly and American Express who has the charge on hold until this is resolved.

I had a terrible experience w stores123 through Amazon. The headboard I received had bedbugs which, in addition to the enormous tumult and expense, gave me a serious medical reaction. They would only answer my e-mails by saying they will do nothing abut it, not even provide a refund, and kept telling me to have a nice day! Apparently, Amazon does not usually get involved w a vendor partner but I insisted on a supervisor and they lodged a formal complaint, reimbursed the cost of the headboard and new bedding. I am a frequent Amazon customer and have always been satisfied. They did a great job, spent quite a lot of time on it, told me they would get back to me and the supervisor even told me how to reach her. I do hope they remove 123stores (they call themselves that or stores123) as a partnering vendor. Do not under any circumstances do business w them or buy anything from LEXMod which was the manufacturer and would not talk to me either.
But BRAVO, Amazon!

Do not order from these people they are a rip off. I order the Hubsan X4 Quadcopter when I received my Hubsan X4 Quadcopter the box showed that it was a mini. I sent the seller several emails telling the I was not happy with my purchase and I wanted to ship the item back for a refund. Instead of them giving me the return address all they gave me was the run around. They refuse to give me a refund for a product I could NOT use DO NOT ORDER FROM THESE PEOPLE! THEY ALSO BLOCK YOU FROM GIVING BAD REVIEWS! BUYER BEWARE!

Store123 or 123store is a scammer. They canceled an order of speakers I bought. They said it was due to a price glitch. I argued the issue. They could sell the speakers for more so They then said oh it is because we are out of stock. These speakers were on Ebay, Sears, Amazon, etc. It's terrible they can just cancel an order to get more money. Stay far away from store 123.

Amazon has really gone down hill. The past 4 orders I have placed I have had problems with. I will no longer be using Amazon any longer for anything. They seem to not care about their customers at all. Scammers

I bought a microwave from stores123 for a ridiculous $86 and the letters on the front had already come off when I opened the package. We plugged up the microwave and used it twice. It was so loud our neighbors complained. Then it shut off and quit working. I asked them to refund me and had it ready to ship back, but they refused because it was after 7 days and we used it. Please save your money and time. Do not use stores123 ever.

I ordered a cutting board from Amazon in November and my online account says it was delivered but I never got it. I thought the order was canceled but I just got the $34.95 charge. The book I ordered at the same time arrived on time.

And this is the only way I can find on the website of contacting Amazon. How am I supposed to complain?

This site is very confusing..first I couldn't sign-on, then I couldn't figure out what I ordered. So I waited and went back and found out that I had ordered two batteries and only meant to order one. This web system now says it is too late to cancel. I think I will contact my credit card and cancel the charge.

Amazon.com does not charge buyers the sales tax. As a corporate seller, I have no way to request the buyer to pay sales tax as payment goes to amazon directly. While it's a NY state law (since 10/2010) that each online purchase that ships to NY state is subject to tax.
Looks that sellers are responsible to pay taxes out of their pocket.

I ordered two packs of eneloop batteries sold by and shipped by Amazon. It was some months before I opened the second pack and there were only 6 batteries in the package (no way to determine that without cutting the package open). I have spent half an hour trying to find a way to communicate with Amazon about this and there appears to be none. Frustrated and upset.

I received a promotion email recently stating that if I bought the book Zero to One Million from Amazon on a particular day (Feb. 5th) and provided documentation of said purchase to the web site bonus@zeromillion.com that I would receive $750 in bonuses for buying the book. I bought the book provide the purchase documentation but no bonuses or links to bonuses were ever provided.

First amazon tries to start a review process on 12/9 but still wants you to ship. I proved that i shipped products as of them
I had one complaint and no one else except one left feedback. They decided that there might be customer complaints based on her feedback so i am shut down. They decide to put everything on hold despite items being shipped. Why should i wait to march to get paid.

I wish I had found this post before I purchased counter stools from them. They arrived on time but since they were packed so poorly one of the stool frame was broken. I requested a replacement, they sent me a diagram and asked which part I need. I told them the part number and they sent me the wrong part. I even took picture of the broken part so they would know what part I needed, thing really has 3 parts to it. So this has been going on for nearly 2 months now. I request them to send me the correct part and they are refusing to send me any more part until I send pictures of all the replacement parts they have sent and all the boxes that they came in. I do not keep boxes I told them, so now they are refusing to send me my part. Save yourself the headache and buy local if you can find what you are looking for or buy from someone within USA. These guys are in India and unfortunately they don't care and I am not sure if you can report them to BBB (Better Business Bureau) .

Store 123 is a horrible company. When I received my table, the box was being held together by one torn up piece of tape and there were damages all over it. I tried to have them replace it, but because I did not keep the trash for packing they refuse to replace the damaged item. I sent pictures of everything and asked if they need the packaging, they said no, so we discarded it, only to find out without it they will not even consider processing my claim. They have horrible customer service and obviously no pride in their product. Being in retail myself, I would never let something like this be in a customers home as an example of my company's product.

I purchased a leather travel bag for a Christmas present while on sale from Stores 123 thru Amazon. The wife thought it was too big so I asked to return it. They said I only had 30 days to return it and only if it was unopened. I bought it during the black Friday week so of course it was past 30 days. Every vendor I have purchased from has always modified their return policy for the holiday season, but not these guys. They are just a middle man retailer with no real store. They really don't have a way to take returns if they can't get their vendor to take it back. They are not a real store! Never buy from them!

I ordered two chairs and they arrived with no packing material and on closer inspection the finish was rubbed off both chairs and both chairs had gauge marks and one spindle underneath had been broken and reglued...I sent pictures..to stores123 and was ignored. I called them and they offered me 30% then 50% but i refused. They then blamed the carrier but it was not carriers fault (no packing) and the broken piece and the boxs were intact so the chairs being gauged also happened prior to being shipped. Stores123 I think did it deliberately and shipped the chairs with no packing. Also they scheduled a pick up by carrier for a return after refusing to remit my money or send a replacement. But they neglected to tell me the item was being picked up...I received a last notice by email saying I had refused to put items out...I checked the tracking number on the carriers site and it was in a entirely different state. The stores123 definitely are out to scam the customer...I am presently holding on to the chairs ...and may contact the bank to see what i can do

I've had the most appalling and frustrating experience with these crooks. I purchased a console pet seat for my little dog. It was so big it wouldn't fit into the space so I put it directly back into the box and returned it. When they received it they informed me that it had been used and so I wouldn't get a refund. IT HAD NEVER BEEN USED! To prove their point they sent me a photo of a worn, peed on and chewed up item that was not even the same model as the one I bought! Unbelievable. When I pointed out that their photo was a fake they sent me half my money back. Not acceptable. They now have possession of the brand new item and half my money. I can't believe that Amazon fronts this operation which I suspect isn't an American company and is from someplace where this sort thing is the norm. What can we consumers do to out them for the thieves they are?

Ive had problems also and amazon isnt letting me add seller feedback. I waited a week after I ordered and it still said my item had not shipped, so I requested a refund. They wrote back the next day and said now it shipped so they cant refund it. So its been another week now and today they email me saying the delivery address was wrong and it cant be delivered.

They sent my package to be delivered in Windsor, VA, while the shipping & billings address on amazon say Seattle, WA. I have no idea why they are sending it there. I sent amazon a second request to cancel this item, by they time it's returned and reshipped to me it will be 3-4 weeks after my order date.

I can’t begin to describe how frustrating an experience this has been. I ordered a bean bag for my daughter from them but cancelled the order within 12 hours (ordered 9 pm, cancelled by 9 am the next morning). 3 days later, I get a notice that the item has been shipped. I didn’t even open the box and proceeded with a return request. The seller claimed that they didn’t receive my cancellation request until after the item was shipped and offered either a refund of $4.50 (the price of the chair is $47) or I could ship it back at my own expense. I called them to ask how they could still ship my item 3 DAYS after I sent my cancellation request. First, I was disconnected 5 times before I reached someone and he never gave me an answer except to say that they ship things from different warehouses. So am I to believe they can forward an email? Again, they didn’t ship the item until 3 DAYS after I sent my cancellation request and wanted me to pay for return shipping. I decided to keep it and the bean bag chair is so overstuffed that my daughter slides off of it every time she tries to sit in it. Don't ever do business with these people. THEY ARE NOT ETHICAL.

So wish I saw this review before. Amazon needs to get tried of this seller before Amazon looses its reputation. They shipped my product in three shipments which only happened after many emails and filing a claim on Amazon. Withdrew the claim on a promise they would ship the missing items (slats, legs, support legs) for the Baxton studio bed. Finally after almost 4 months I received presumably all the parts and correct parts. After one person slept on the bed for five nights some of the slats broke and fell part. They refuse to replace or refund because I did not report the defective slats within 7 days of receiving the shipment. Sorry didn't know slats for a bed only good for five sleeps.

I've had a similar issue. I ordered a string of outdoor lights for our pergola. First a number of the bulbs didn't work and Amazon did replace them at no charge and didn't want the others back. After inspecting the first string of lights, I ordered another (same exact item confirmed by Amazon themselves). Upon arrival I realized that the second string was an ungrounded 2-plug style, not the 3-plug I ordered and received the first time. Now, I have to take the string down, unscrew all the bulbs, package it up, wait two weeks for a refund, order another set (not knowing if it will be 2 or 3 prong grounded). I'm told by Amazon it 'should' be, but they don't really know. 123 is likely not checking their inventory. When Amazon partners with second rate suppliers is causes a great deal of harm to their brand equity due to the poor service received. I"m sure Jeff Bezos would be furious.

Wish I had seen this before I made my purchase with these people. I am fighting to get my $138 back from the wrong item being sent. The item was falsely advertised on Amazon. This will be the last time I ever purchase anything from this vendor or purchase anything that is not sold by Amazon or fulfilled by Amazon. I did not realize the problems that ensue when you hook up with crooks that have been 3rd party vendors on Amazon. I have shopped from Amazon for years and always had good luck. Stay as far away from Stores123 as possible.

I had a credit line with amazon.com for several years. I was always on-time with my payments etc. Now amazon is changing their bank and have canceled my creditline. I have never had any problem with the bank before... Why now...

It's pretty common knowledge that Amazon.com does not charge sales tax. You should do your research before-hand.

So dont sell on Amazon and dont get the sales. The fact that we dont pay a sales tax is why many people buy from amazon.

The easiest way to contact Amazon is to click "Help" at the top of the screen, the click the big yellow "contact us" button. You can phone, email, or even have them call you directly. Easy as pie.

As with any order on the internet, it is a good idea to thoroughly inspect all items in your order, that way you can return for full refund or get replacement for defective items, all within their posted 30 day returns policy.

AMAZON obviously helps people steal products from unknowing honest sellers. They claim to have procedures in place but after less than 20 min of submitting proof that I shipped to buyer and that the buyer definitely had my product they refunded the money and let buyer keep my product and told me the decision was final and there was nothing I could do about it. After the second time of the same VERY obvious scam I decided to terminate any dealings with amazon..I would rather pay the fees on EBAY!

Amazon has been sending my orders through an unknown courier service. Each time I get a package from Amazon, this person / courier service leaves my package outside my apartment building!

He wouldn't give me his name but just says, "I'm a contractor".
