Product was advertised on TV as free, with a 97 cent shipping charge. They bill the credit card you use for the shipping charge - $36.90 for a "membership fee." This is not a free sample...it's a rip-off!

Alteril is a COMPLETE and total SCAM. When you order over the phone, they tell you that you only have to pay .98$ total for the trial offer. If you don't cancel before the trial offer is over, they will automatically send you more pills. Sounds understandable enough, right? Here's where this slimy little business starts the real scamming... litterly two days after you receive the first bottle of Alteril from the "trial offer", you will recieve another bottle...and then another...and another. Try to cancel, but it won't work. They will tell you that your membership has been canceled and all is well, but then you will continue to get bogus charges on your bank statements. $300+ later and I finally had to close my bank account.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY! They go by many names; Biotab Nutriceuticals Inc is the main one. STAY AWAY and report your scams!

The last comment sums it up perfectly. I order a trial product. The disclaimer says you will be enrolled in monthly maintenance one month after the trial period. I was charged $36.90 3 days after I order the free trial. The customer service was what you would expect from a company that is scamming consumers. I have filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and canceled the credit card I used.

I ordered alteril and put a 2-day shipping on it so that I could try it before the 7 day period was up and be able to cancel if not satisfied. They shipped me extenze and by the time I called and checked they had sent another months supply of the extenze product before 7 days was up. When the month’s supply came I sent it back return to sender as per instruction from customer service. It is now about 12 days later and they are saying that they have not received it. If I don't get a credit on my card back the 50 plus dollars they owe me I will take action even if it cost me. I don't like this type of business.
