I have bought online a refrigerated bakery case about three years ago from Alpha Restaurant Equipment. Due to wear and tear, two of the four lights fixtures are not working. I have gone to several local stores to see if I could replace them. I was told I had to get that from the manufacturer. I called Alpha Restaurant this past week; explain the situation and I was told some guy would get back to me. I kept calling four days in a row, multiple times, to see if I could get a hold of this person. On my last day of calling I asked for a manager or someone that I could speak to regarding the purchase of these lights fixtures. I was told that so...and so... was the owner and I almost immediately got this guy on the phone. Was less than accommodating, ruder than I would expect from a vendor that just three years ago got $3, 556.00 from me. I tried to stay unaware of his impoliteness and explained my request. He said basically that I could get those fixtures at any electrical store, not true, I tried. So then he said, "OK let me get your name and number and I will get back to you on this, but it's going to cost you"!
Well, never heard back from this guy again!
Companies like that, make my stomach turn and I believe they shouldn't be in business, therefore the reason of me posting this complaint online.
SHAME ON ALPHA RESTAURANT EQUIPMENT!!!
