All American Monitoring Poor Service

To all alarm dealers out there stay away from All American.

The are reasons why there are hushed whispers about them on the ISC shows.

They WILL cost you customers due to them calling your customers at 4am telling them about a low battery, even though there is a huge note highlighted in yellow telling them not to.

Their Microkey software has tons of bugs (you WILL get continuous error messages) in it and will time you out in the middle of reports.

Their server needs to be reset all the time because it's unstable.

The response times are slow, very slow.

When voice recordings are requested for response time issues it may take them days to get them back to you. By this time the customer has lost all confidence in you. When they do get back to you you will get the distinct feeling that all they are trying to do is cover themselves.

Their billing system is obscure. You'll see.

They can't do 2way voice over cell because they don't have an IP receiver.

They do NOT have anyone on duty after 5pm you can give you account numbers, deal with really serious issues.

There is no-one available on weekends, only dispatchers who can't make decisions.

They have lied to various dealers about their size. They do not have 400000 or 900000 accounts online it's 140000.

We had faxed several customers over to get put online. It never happened.

You have to manually enter all dispatch numbers yourself, we sent an email over to get our area dispatch put in a while back, but it still hasn't happened.

Once you've tried them you'll see this is all right and you'll eventually switch, don't say you weren't warned.

ASPEN ALERT: MAKES ME WONDER WHY THEY ARE STILL MONITORING YOUR CUSTOMERS ACCOUNTS. - PLEASE ADVISE. ALL THE BASHING BUT THEY ARE STILL MONITORING ACCOUNTS FOR YOUR COMPANY- I DONT UNDERSTAND!

I have been using them for my 500+ customers for the past 5 years and have had nothing but GREAT response's ... monitoring wise... I do agree that the software is bug filled and needs to be simplified. They are a smaller operation so yes the after hours things suck, but for the price I cant complain. I give them a 8 out of 10.
