Purchased 8 case's of PurAqua Spring Water...Today noticed that some brown particles floating in an sealed and closed bottle...Had consumed about half the case of water (24 bottles). The remaining bottle all had the particles floating in them...What is this? Is the water safe to drink? I looked at another case of water...and it apears to be okay or the particles are to small to be seen...Is there quality control during the bottling process? I know the water is cheap as it should be but it should also be safe to drink by anyone.

James, my husband noticed this "junk" today in serveral gallon bottles of the Aldi Spring Water. We still had some of them left over from earlier this year. I had made coffee with one of the bottles this morning and didn't notice the black flakes! It was almost half empty, when he noticed it this evening. So I grabbed a new - still sealed - gallon bottle and the black stuff was floating in there too. The third bottle the same. I will pour the water in my plants outside. The black stuff almost looks like floating mucus or slime. Very gross :( Now I think that this is the reason why it was pulled out of the shelfs at our local Aldi! :/

@James Douglas: NEVER buy anybody's SPRING water. That water could be straight from the toilet after someone has defecated and then sold to us as Spring water.
It's not tested and there are no laws protecting us. Buy a PURIFIED WATER.
GOD BLESS

You don't know if Purified Water is safe either. We just have to take our chances, that the companies are telling the truth on where the water is from.
