I was using my Airtel phone when I was in France. I received a SMS from airtel regarding you are logged in to this network and the call charges are Rs 24/- per minute for all incoming calls. On reaching back to India I received a bill which charged Rs 50/- per minute as the charges. On checking with customer care they told that these are valid charges for this network which was different than the one that I received the SMS from. I have no SMS when the network was changed or the charges of this network. I have not yet paid the bill and would like to drag them to the consumer court.

I belong to lucknow.
On transfer when i moved to moradabad and used to dial any number / msg / miss cal from my mobile, it was deducting rs 2 / - per sms / miss cal / confirmed call.
Problem was rectified by them on lodging complaint but it persisted again and again. I have lodged my complaint 5 times and every time i find different answers from different executives, reference no of the complaint are mentioned below:

I feel sorry for so called no 1 private telecom service provider
And its so called trained staff who every time gives different replies for same queries raised every time.
Kindly help me out to sort out the problem complaint reference nos of which are mentioned above.
Need not to mention, i have lost in terms of money in last 20 days due to this problem.

I am a subscriber to Airtel Mobile Service. I use a prepaid card service and my no. is +[protected]. First of all let me tell everyone that Airtel sucks big time. They have no respect for their customers peace. I receive unwanted calls and sms from Airtel at least 10 – 12 in a day and that too at any damn time. I am working and it becomes so annoying to receive such useless calls at time. Airtel Co. has never asked me for my permission to send such sms or for any promotional calls. I expect the company to stop this practice of sending unsolicited messages and calls respecting the customers peace of mind.

airtel is cheating everyone.i had 3 airtel postpaid connections but now i disconnected all.i got connection disconnected by calling 121 and also by FAX to [protected] and never used that number after that day.but airtel not only sending bills for period after that day but now started sending legal notices.and when i sent FAX and Email to airtel, they don't bother to reply.and still they claim company with best services.thanks.amanpreet(asghai@hotpop.com)[protected]

Airtel is not taking care of mobile prepaid users? Why they only providing customer care to postpaid/broadband users? It's really very bad and stupid. I am/was a prepaid customer, I called from US to Airtel customer care; i tried many times to talk with customer representative, they are not allowing to give a chance to talk with customer care. Is that means prepaid users are not Airtel customers?

I realized that and understood that i am not customer to Airtel, and decided to cancel my prepaid account with Airtel.

This is Pavan kumar. I am using the airtel number from five years.Recently i have got a call that there is a new plan called
" ZERO RENTAL PLAN" for the people who are using airtel from long time. They called me many times and i asked the person to visit me. He gave me a form and which i paid Rs 500 for that and the person named himself as SUMIT from airtel. He gave the receipt for Rs 500 which consists of AIRTEL logo on it and told me that the plan will be starting from the very next billing. I believed him and when i got my next bill i couldn't notice any such plan changes in my bill. So i called to 121 the airtel people who says that there is no such plan and they can't do any thing and told me to file an FIR for that. I don't understand how could such a big company make their customers get cheated. I am shocked that AIRTEL doesn't take any measures to avoid people doing fraud in the name of AIRTEL. So i tell all you people be careful about taking new plans. Please don't pay anyone unless in a customer care office

I have an airtel mobile with prepaid connection.
On 2nd of April I recharged it with all india 1rs STD scheme in order to activate 1 rs STD .
However my STD calls were still being charged at older tarrif and when i contacted cusomer care they told me that a scheme bol bol is already activated "I don't have an idea why it is activated "that's why new scheme is not effective.After deactivating that bol bol scheme they told me that my scheme will get effective within 24 hrs .
However even next day it was not activated.When I called cusomer care they said there was a technical problem it would get effective within 24 hrs.

For the PAST THREE DAYS I AM CALLING AIRTEL AND LISTENING that service will be activated within 24 HRS.

or maybe they are hoping i will stop trying because the amount is so negligible "which i guess i would after 3 -4 attempts"
Is AIRTEL SERVICE REALLY THAT BAD? . or I am getting some special treatment

during last week, when airtel services was having loss of connectivity problem, they proven that they r worse. on one side they gave ad for apologizing the customer for unavailability of services and on other side they have started deducting money from customer for the services which they have not provided during the same period and all this deduction is without giving any reason for it. My balance was Rs 211/- before this period and when the partial services started i saw balance was Rs 147/-.
Airtel customer care is rude towards customer and thinks that they r making favor to us. for the above deduction they r not having proper reasons. In their customer care, some tells the deduction is against GPRS service (which was not active during the same period). some says that the deduction is for calls which I have made during this period when their service was totally stopped(there was no network connection for this full week). They r not stopped to this. after this also they continued deducting money and made it to Rs 43/- saying u have used GPRS service which I have not used during the week they r claiming. I had used GPRS on only 1 day and that also just before the week during which Airtel service was not available, and for that they have deducted money equal to 10 days GPRS charge.

For Airtel
If airtel is not taking any action on it and refunding me all my money, I am going to consumer court for legal matter against Airtel. and I can prove the fraud of Airtel against customers.

My airtel Mobile number is [protected]. It is prepaid one. A sum of Rs.20/- is continueously deducted every week for the past 6 months without my consultation/permission. Still they are telling that GPRS is free. I never used GPRS or Airtel live for messages. I have contacted customer service twice and informed this. But no action. Yesterday I got a new message that they are going to deduct Rs.20/- for some other facility. But it is also informed that if I am not interested I can Unsubscribe. According I unsubscribed by sending a message. But Rs.3/- has been deducted as SMS charges. They only asked my option wheather such facility is requuired or not. I replied. for that they have charged Rs.3/- for which there is no justification. In case I was keeping mum Rs.20/- will be deducted as informed by their SMS.
Still they are telling that GPRS is free. But wihtout using GPRS or Airtel Live they are deducting Rs.20/- every week.

After coming to Bangalore my faith on the brand Airtel has gone for a toss. I had been using Airtel for 5 yrs in Kolkata and never had I any problem with them. But in Bangalore it seems the Airtel is running a good business by stealing from people & employing a bunch of lazy, stupid & arrogant people for whom customers are people to be harassed & should have no work except for visiting the airtel office to pay the wrong bills.
I took an airtel connection after coming to Bangalore on 23rd Sept’09. I had asked them to activate the 249 Special Plan as well as the mobile office service of weekly rental 140. Without asking me they activated some Kanada portal when I don’t understand a word of the language. Then they deactivated it on my complaint saying it sometimes gets activated automatically. In the next few days I got welcome calls from airtel a no. of times. After that every 5 days I started getting calls from Airtel stating that my credit limit had exceeded & I should make a payment. I made the payment but again I got a call after some days saying that my credit balance had exceeded and I should make the payment to get continued services. This time it was a lump amount of Rs. 1200 and I was shocked as I had not made that many calls in 10 days, so I asked the customer care to provide me my bill details. To this I got the reply that they can’t do so but gave me a complaint no. & said someone will be taking care of the same. The next day my outgoing was discontinued. I had to go to the airtel office to make the payment and get my services activated. After 2 days I got a call from the customer care in regards to my complaint, and that’s when I came to know that instead of the 140 weekly plan they had activated the 399 rental GPRS plan. But still I was not convinced that my bill could be so high on GPRS as my usage was only limited to checking of mails & no downloads. Then I asked them to change my bill plan to 140 weekly. When my bill was generated I was really pissed off that they had charged me Rs. 2853 only for my GPRS connection & they had billed me even on days when I had not even logged in once. When I asked the CC for an explanation they very calmly told me that”madam you pay the bill now, we’ll resolve the issue as soon as possible & you’ll get a reversal in your next bill”. I believed them & made the payment not knowing the Bangalore Airtel service employed a bunch of lazy crooks who made money by harassing the customers & charging them falsely. I got no call regarding my bill resolution. I also asked them to change my bill plan to Freedom 549 to which I was told that it can only happen next month. Again on 22nd Oct’09 I got a call from CC saying that my credit balance had exceeded and I should make the payment of 1100 Rs. for continued service. I was so angry by this time that I told them I would not make a single payment till I get a resolution for my previous payment. Then I got another shock when he told me that according to the system my issue had already been resolved. I told him I had not received any call to which he said I’m taking a complaint & you’ll receive a call shortly. Still I got no call & once again my service was disconnected. Again I made a visit to the airtel office and told them the whole issue to which they said I’ll get a call within 24 hrs & said they are also activating my service. Though my outgoing was activated I could not access the GPRS. Even after 10 calls to the technical helpdesk as well as 121 they said they cannot resolve my issue as the other one was responsible. When I told them I would take it with the higher authorities they asked me to go ahead(this shows the kind of trust they have on their seniors who must be bigger crooks than them & had taught them how to loot from customers). So because of the fault of the CC I had to access net from the cybercafé for 3 days(23rd, 24th, 25 Oct’09 ) but when it come to charging the money I’m sure they’ll charge me for these days too. And its more than 48 hrs & I’ve not gotten a resolution yet.

iam a prepaid cell holder
i purchased a three months valid prepaid card worth of rs1100 on 7th april 2008.it is valid up to july 2008.
now iam at chennai on roaming.
iam not able to receive any in comming call from anywhere.but receive sms and send my outgoing calls.
several complaints made at both ends at bhopal (m.p)and tirunelveli(tamilnadu)yield no result so far.
iam facing surgery shortly.it gives me great mental agony.
the least botherd attitude of officials at both ends are condemnable

It is very regretting about to even write a letter or a complain letter about a company which is rated top most companies in INDIA among the telecommunication. I am a user of airtel since three years but i never had a problem of any kind. I was very proud to speak to anyone at any place. But now i have come to a conclusion that i was mistaken or rather probably the quality of service might have gone down. The root problem is not on the part of in any system or technical but rather it is the side of the human which fails to understand the problem of human itself.

The major problem here with the customer executive is that they are in a more hurry than us to solve the problem and at the same time they are in a hurry to cut the call which is just irritating with them. This way a user cannot solve his or her problem.

Now let me explain my problem. My no. is [protected] and i am in a college plan.There was an offer on 9th of july where in a recharge of denomination of Rs.135 one will get Rs.165. I was happy and quickly i had recharged it twice but unfortunately i did not get full talktime even. Then after three days again an offer came of making calls all over india anywhere @1 Re/min. The procedure to get activated was to just sms STD89 ACTV to 222 and i did it immediately because i needed it. It was to be activated within 48 hours and i waited for two days but it was not activated.

After this i complain about these two problems to customer care about a no. of times but none have been solved yet. In between i had a no. of problems with customer care executive itself but which i think i don't have further time to share and express inspite of being a student. This might seem to be a small problem for them but not for me.

So beware!

My Airtel No. is [protected], activated on4/9/07 , with all the documents and formalities being complete. Now Outgoing calls have been stopped from my cell no. and the msg conveyed is "Submit the documents", though it has been submitted by me and it is asking to call "[protected]", though on calling this no. the same message is conveyed. In fact, the customer care no. "121" is also not allowed by Airtel. Though incoming calls can be received but outgoings are not allowed at all not even to Customer care.

I am very disappointed with Airtel's Service and will never use it again in the near future, if my problem solved immediately. I'll tell this to all my colleagues , friends and relatives never to use 'Airtel' and how poor services they are providing and how they are troubling their own customers, who have subscribed it with trust and reliability.

I ( Mr.Deepak V Phalke. ) am using Airtel in Mumbai amd My NO.is [protected] . I have told airtel customer servises to stop my GPRS which deduct 10 Rs. every day but the past 4 days they do not stop the deduction from my prepaid mobile. and every day they deduct my 10 Rs.

Can you help to stop this I every day phone to customer servies of Airtel but still they do not bother of us.

[protected] for only internet purpose and so i have recharged it with Rs.395 on 29.09.2009 for free internet access and then also i have charged for internet accessing then i have told to get setting of mobile office by customer care, i do that but now i have charged for internet access and i am trying to call customer care from last 3-4days continuously till 1.00-2.00 a.m. but there is no responce.

myself A.G.PHALE is customer of airtel sim card last 3-4years. my cell phone no is [protected]. i have issued sim card plan govt employee plan. as per plan call rate were airtel to airtel 10paise/min and other 30 paise/min. as per plan there was not any daily deduction scheme. but now u are deducting rs. 1 / day. is it correct to get away from given plan ? why didnot u tell it at the starting?
what shall i do now ? shall i go to consumer court ?

I would like to inform that I subscribed for Airtel prepaid service in chandigarh a 6months back my no is [protected], with the relevant authentic documents submitted. now they disconnected my mobile giving the reason that document verification failed. I am still in dilemma that how was this possible since each and every document was authentic.without any information they disconnect my connection.want to ask one simple question that why do give the connection in the first place before verification and what procedure do they follow that verification of authentic documents fail their test. I hope somebody is listening to my problem.

i Ankush Patodia having mob.no.[protected].I send sms on 511 for deactivation of NOP services on 4Jan08 but the reply came from customer services that there is some server problem plz try after some time.On 6 JAN 08 i again send the same msg on 511 the reply was as it is afterthat i send sms uncountable times but reply came check ur operator services.I also call to customer care many times for speak to customer executive after computer system it says this number does not exits. i'm frustrated with the airtel services since they r continously deducting rs.5 daily, i will never recommened anyone for airtel.

This is manish from Gurgaon,since last 3 days i am unable to make any STD calls,and i had complained a number of times to the costumer care AIRTEL(Gurgaon) ,but no one is trying to take interest on to my complain, one of the member (Airtel)told me that the number which i am dialing is wrong one,but on the other hand while i am using another cell it's working.so my suggestions to all is never keep faith on AIRTEL,its better to use other Brand.If this the service they are providing to there customer then better to use another Brand.

I had recharged my postpaid card, but still was not working its said number out or service, so when i been to the airtel showroom Pimpri Branch they dint gave me any response of my qurries, so i had to go to chinchwad there i get to know that my number has been already re-cycled, and now they can't even give me the same number.

They told me to buy new number and then they will transfer the my balance on the new number which i recharged on my old number... Now i am just waiting that to happen its been more then a month now.

Most pathetic service ever got from any network across any countries and any states in India and still they are not able to solve the problem. I visited Airtel office outlet on Bannerghatta Road on 23rd July and after standing in a queue for an hour I gave an application to convert my post paid mobile connection to prepaid connection for mobile number [protected]. They told me to clear my bill and then will accept my application. I paid the bill amount of 1364 rupees and submitted the application for prepaid connection. They issued me a Prepaid sim card no.[protected]. and told me that within 4 working days my new sim card will be active and will act as a prepaid mobile number…

I told them that I do not want any disrupted service. They told me that as soon as my post paid connection will go immediately my prepaid connection will start. I told them I am moving out of Karnataka and I want to clear all the bills before I leave and also keep my number for incoming calls for couple of days as I am an IT consultant and I keep getting important calls and I also told them I am quite busy and may not have to time to visit any Aitel outlet personally and as I was leaving Karnataka on 2nd of August, I wanted to make sure that I recharge before I leave, I assumed that once I leave Karnataka without recharging or converting my post paid to prepaid, I may not be able to get any incoming or outgoing calls.

I waited 5 days and then on 28th July I called up customer Service told them that my number is still not converted into prepaid. Instead of solving my problem They told me that they are taking this as a complaint and gave me a complaint number [protected]. told me that they will solve my problem at the latest 1st of August till 12.00 noon. And they will call me in a day or two to solve. When I didn’t heard from Airtel till 31st July. I again called up Customer Service. Again instead of solving my problem they again they took this as a complaint and gave me a complaint number [protected].

Still the harassment continued by Airtel towards me. They suddenly cut my phone on 1st of August around 3 o clock without any communication and message. 2nd of August my prepaid sim card got active. I was receiving calls and messages but I was not able to recharge my prepaid mobile number. I called Customer service to check my mobile number as a prepaid. They said they don’t have any details about my number and told me I cant recharge as the process takes some time from post paid to prepaid. And suggested me to carry with me a recharge voucher as I was leaving Karnataka. I took recharge voucher of 210 with me.

I called numerous times to Customer services of Aitel prepaid and Post paid. to check my number if converted into prepaid and how I can recharge from Maharashtra and also told them hat I am carrying a Voucher of 210 with me, neither they confirmed my number as prepaid. Nor they told me how to recharge.and most of the time they put me on hold and disconnected my call. Post paid Customer service People told me to call Prepaid Customer service , and Pre-paid Customer Service told me to called Post Paid Customer service.

Harassment still continues. Mobile number is of airtel. Network is Airtel but none of the Airtel staff can help me out or solve the issue. When ever I call Customer service they listen to me then they put me on hold to get information and disconnect my call. Some of the staff suggested me to go to consumer forum or court. Now as I decided to go to consumer forum , as I have spend lot of money to solve the issue and suffered huge financial loss due to no incoming or outgoing calls on my mobile number [protected].

I have been to lots of places but never faced any problem by any network across any country. I was talking to my old colleagues in Bangalore. Some of my colleagues faced the same problem while converting from post paid to prepaid. lot of people told me that this is a common practice of Airtel. To get more money out of customers. I assume there are lot of people who has gone through the pain from Airtel Network.

I tried to call this number + 91 080 [protected] for Grievance Redressal probably more than fifty times, either it gave me busy tone or nobody picked up.this number I got it from internet to solve the complaints. I am still not sure weather any body from Airtel will even response to my mail or will try to resolve my problem. And weather they care about the money I spend by constantly calling them to resolve the issue and about my financial losses I faced.

Before I taking any further action I am sending this as a written complaint about the Harassment I faced.

I HAVE BEEN COMPLAINING TO AIRTEL FOR MORE THAN 4 YEARS ABOUT THEIR VERY POOR NETWORK IN MUIMBAI REGION. ONLY CALL COMES FROM CUSTOMER SERVICES BUT THIS IS YET TO BE SOLVED. IN TRAINS IN MUMBAI AND AROUND THERE IS NO NETWORK AT ALL. i HAVE LOST ALMOST THOUSAND OF RUPEES DUE CALLS BEING CANCEELED DUE TO NETWORK PROBLEM.

SECONDLY IN RELATION SHIP CENTRE WHAT EVER IS TOLD REGATDING BIL PLAN CHANGE THEY ACCEPT AND TELL US VERBALLY THAT PLAN IS CHANGED BUT ACTUALL WHEN BILL IS RECD SUCH PLAN IS INCORPORATED.

COMPARING TO RELAINCE AND TATA AIRTEL HAS VERY VERY BAD NETWORK AS WELL CUSTOMER SERVICES.

Validity for the no.[protected] is over on march 22nd, i missed the sim and i bought the new sim for the same no.
balance amount (around [protected] Rs) on the old sim is not transversed to new one...
i made many complients to customer care officer...since 15 days grace period is over after the validity date they are refusing to take the action for this compleint...
i am expecting the favour from ur side kindly take the proper action to solve this problem...

Dear Sir,

I possess a prepaid connection no.[protected] taken on last month 16th July, 2008. I have been using it for the past two months. Yesterday I have been disconnected as unregistered SIM.

I tired contacting 121 their customer care number but no response . I enquired about unregistered SIM to mobile shop owner wherefrom I have purchased, who was not helpful and told me to get back to 121.

I do not understand for what it is being disconnected.

My tel No is 011-[protected]. Billing cycle is 23rd to 22nd. The bill payment is upto date. Last bill was for August - Sept. The bill details are available only for June - July. When you click for other details, the response is that it is not uploaded. When you lodge complaint through their site, response is 'we are unable to process your request' Unfair practices - Is not it ? Why they are so insecure ? Wrong billing ?

I had given a request to close my airtel number in jan, through e mail, it has still not happened, till date bills are recd at my house for payment of the same and harassment from the company, False claims are made that the number is still being used by someone, i relocated to Dubai in Feb and the Sim card is with me , How can anyone use the number If someone tries reaching their customer support number, it never really get s to a human voice,, Have a good mind to sue them once i get back home...

Hi

I was service feeder of airtel. As per plan i was eligible to browser 100MB GPRS data. Every times this service was deactivated . I have complaint number of all request to activate this service. As time of this deactivation i was not in city so i have lost my 3 day working (online) and i was not able to cancel my reailway ticket.

I called to airtel to just recovery of my money in bill but they said they are not resposible. I said if i pay for service then you should give me proper service. Now my number is disconnected ([protected].

Tell me what should i do. Do i pay whole bill.

we have a question in my mind for long time, why you gays, only for small amnt like Rs. 30-50, activate any scheme without permision of customer, and extert the money daily Rs 1-2.It is me only but most of my freinds have this type of problems.we come to know about this scheme only when money is taken from the balance and we get sms that THANKS FOR SUBSCRIPTION THIS SCHEME, YOU HAVE BEEN CHARGED RS.50.Plz tell me one thing, for how long you will keep runing your business by doing that.If you are not able to do that you shuold start other business.But you have right to exter customer money.plz casscade this massage to Manager also.

I had purchased two sim cards under life time service scheme viz phone no. [protected] in the name of my wife Sweety Khera and [protected] in my name about a year back.I had to go to USA in November 06 and before going it was cleared that under this life time deal we will have no problem in reactivation.We have returned now in October 07.With the phone no.[protected] (wife's) had no problem in activation but the other one I am unable to get activated.
I request urgent instructions/action for the Jail Road Air Tel showroom or other agency suitably.

I was was given a passcode to access my settings but I'm unable to access the settings. The passcode doesn't work and I was never given a user name. So i haven't been given any settings from the customer services. Infact I think that the customer service is very pathetic. They're not even bothered about what we say they don't even bother to ask if there is any other query that we have. They just drop the call before you could ask them any other question.

It is being 17 days, but there is no any response from your site. This is one type of harassment to me.

As per conversation with customer care, I submitted documents three times since I got this connection. Please start my connection ASAP.Otherwise I will send a mail to consumer court regarding the same.

I am MR. Partha Sarathi from New Delhi & my mobile number is:[protected].I have another mobile number, i.e.[protected], which is kolkata Air Tel number.
My problem is this, when I am calling to this airtel number, my mobile is showing "it is a wrong number, pls check the number".While I am calling to other all mobiles as well as landlines, Std & Local, I am not getting any problem from my vodafone number and my mobile. Also when I am calling to this Air Tel number from other mobiles, there has not any problem .Only particular this Air Tel number is showing problem, when I call from my vodafone number.

My name is SANJAY KUMAR and I was using the airtel postpaid connection [protected], then I changed it with prepaid connection. Customer care executive told that you submitted the document at airtel office. Then I told them that I can’t submit the document at airtel office because I have no time now. They told me that no problem our executive comes at your home and collect the document. Airtel executive come at my home and collect the needed documents. I was recharged so many times. Last recharged was 100 rupees. But incoming and outgoing call facilities was not available on my phone. I call the customer care number but not respond. After some times my number was show registration failed. I talked customer care. They told me your number is permanently closed, and till date they have'nt come out with a solution.
NOW I WANT TO WHAT IS THE REASON? PLS GUIDE WHAT I CAN DO I WANT THIS NO. BACK AND MY MONEY ALSO WHICH THERE WAS IN PREPAID CONNECTION...

I have been using an airtel number from last some years. they had stopped generating bills for me form jan/feb months. for two months I didn't received any bill, along with my number was getting cross connected with some other person. 4-5 times I call to customer care regarding these problems. but nothing happened. later on I stopped using that number. Now they are sending me a huge amount of bill without any clarification. never use airtel.

I am selva kumar... from kancheepuram... my retailer name is ' sri sai ram'... my mobile ec no is [protected]... for december month I had one news about booster pack claims, from airtel company... that we need to sell 251 variety of boosters in a single month from (1.12.2008 to 31.12.2008)... the claims for that offer is rs.900/- I sell more than 300 boosters in a single month... but still I didn't get the money, and there is no response from airtel... then we complaint to rural sales officers (mr. saraboji) also, but he didn't gave proper response... so please clear this problem as soon as you possible... iam waiting for ur reply...

I m an airtel prepaid customer from chattisgarh and using MOBILE OFFICE (GPRS) service. Since 20 days i m not able to use GPRS on my laptop as well as on mobile, i have complained lot of times to GPRS helpline but no action was taken and i was continuously charged for 20 days or so. Then my balance becomes low and service was deactivated by airtel. Now again i have recharged my account and i have also sent a request to re-activate MOBILE OFFICE service. Now it has been more then 72 hours and still my service is not activated and the customer care executives have barred my calls to 121 their helpline number. I m very upset and wants to F**** them all.

They are just su**ers and really i don't want to use airtel anymore!

i got a call from some Airtel executive on 16th Oct (who was calling from Andheri(E) branch of Airtel)...he told me a plan to convert my Pre-paid number to Post-paid...i got interested in that and gave that guy my College Id and License as a photo Id proof...now after that i got 2 passport size photographs and No Objection Certificate to give to them, but no one has come to take it from me...i feel so irritated because of all this...my Pre-paid validity was about to expire on 20th Oct, but since no one came i had to get a recharge done of Rs 97 for a month's validity...now the call rates in this scheme is 2.25 which is too too costly for me(earlier i was in plan of 456 which had local call rates of flat 50paise)...i want compensation for all this...despite of calling them again and again, they don`t reply properly and no one has any sense of responsibility there...i want a REFUND of 200 bucks...I CANNOT KEEP ON WAITING FOR THEM AND GET TOP-UP DONE AGAIN AND AGAIN...

Hearing of the GPRS service of airtel I tried to activate it... the service got activated within 2 hours and the deduction started but the settings were not sent to me... Have been trying since last 2 days but in vain... the only reply i get is do this and that, restart your phone... call the other person or try after 4 hours... Boss I should be getting an sms from you and if not tell me the manual settings the workaround is very simple but... when the Customer care representatives know nothing how can they help... at last am thinking to deactivate the GPRS...

Good Luck Airtel and be the Top Service Provider... but if a company with the highest no of complaints can be at top I could just pity... Its a shame...!
