Agoda reservation

I booked a hotel, 2 rooms at hotel arjun in haridwar, india, through agoda. Booking ref: [protected].
When my party arrived on 8/12/16 I was told that there had been no bookings made. The manager informed me that they did not work with agoda anymore due to payment issues, and that there had been no room booked. This was very upsetting and stressful for my party. The hotel was nearly fully booked, but one room was available at a higher cost, which my party had to share.
Agoda have taken the money for the booking from my account, I can provide details, I also have a written signed statement from the hotel explaining that there was no reservation made by agoda.

Agoda price increase without notice

Further to my 4 th email that nobody has responded to again, booked 4 rooms in Hotel fortune Mumbai . Rooms were re booked out without notice . You took my money £254 for two nights 4 rooms, then you replaced the accommodation for us with a flea pit, absolutely disgusting rooms that I wouldn't let my cat sleep in . And to top it all you took a extra £35 without my authority, unacceptable by far. Sent you 4 emails and still no response . Booking I.d [protected]

Agoda poor hotel service and lack of basic amenities like clean room, bathroom and bed-sheet.

I had booked Hotel Haveli (Jodhpur) vide Agoda from 01st Jan 2017 to 02nd Jan 2017. I had booked for 2 adults and 1 child ( 3 years). Agoda had billed for additional bed, which was not required since the child was too young to sleep on his own.

I had reached the hotel (with my family: wife and 1 kid) in the evening after a 7 hour long uncomfortable bus journey. I was allotted 3rd floor room. 3rd floor is only accessible with steep narrow stairs, the hotel does not have elevator, which was a worry for us, since we had a small kid, who could trip on those stairs and could injure himself seriously. We had requested them for room at lower level, which was refused stating there were no vacant rooms, which on further enquiry with fellow mates, found out to be false.
We were taken to dingy room with a musty smell of mold growing in the room. The wall paint were peeling at many locations. The bed-sheets were smelly and unclean. Basic amenities like, promised(during booking) intercom and tv were not working. Which was not the case with the other rooms of the same hotel. We requested the hotel owner to resolve the issues. He said the there is a cable issue, which may be taken up the next day. We further mentioned that the other rooms did not have the said issues, on which the owner asked us to leave the hotel in the middle of the chilly night with a 3 year old, stating that the rooms cannot be compared. In fact his callous behaviour became more evident, when he immediately sent the bell boy to remove our luggage for checkout. Such behaviour is unbecoming of a hotel owner. His lack of professional conduct was in poor taste. He appeared to be more interested in entertaining the guests of other nationalities. He appeared thoroughly indifferent to our concerns. He even challenged me to put up reviews against the hotel. He belittled our interest to stay at his hotel by his approach towards us. We managed to get partial amount refund from the owner. I request the Agoda team to refund me the full remaining amount since the service which was promised was not made available to us. We were forced to search for hotels at an odd time in a peak season, which was a horrible experience. We request you to please take immediate action.

Agoda the property/hotels description

Dear Admin of Agoda,
I would like to report you a complain about Raha Grand Hotel that we booked for 7 nights the economy double room (28th Dec 2016 to 4th Jan 2017) that costs me NOK 3, 321.85 (around THB 13, 780). My booking ID is [protected].
The bottom line is, nothing of what is stated in Agoda website itself about the hotel description nor the photos of Raha Grand Hotel in its hotel website (http://www.rahagroupphuket.com) itself is close to the real condition of the hotel. I took pictures of the real room we stayed and compare to the pictures they showed in the website. Using common sense, it is very obvious we were being fooled by the pictures. The real condition of hotel is very old, some mold on the wall, dirty elevator, poorly-renovated, and the hotel’s wall is so thin we can hear so much noises from room next door and from other floors such as man shouting, baby crying, some drunk men arguing at night, noises from the road traffic on the main road. Doors banging from other room significantly disturbed our sleep at night. In the end we only stayed 2 nights, and decide to search for other hotel that is more proper and better-maintained than Raha Grand Hotel.
I was very disappointed not because of the staff or room service but merely because I felt being fooled as a customer. I do not mind booking another hotel with higher price and I could have made better decision if only they put more realistic pictures and not giving false hope to its guests. Because of this issue we really had bad times of staying in Phuket and not enjoying what supposed to be our lovely NYE celebration in Phuket. I think Agoda as an ultimate booking website for majority of travellers should be aware of this issue and I hope Agoda can filter better information and should be stricter or even give a penalty for such hotel because it can mislead the potential customers.
When we asked one of the staff in the hotel (probably he is the manager) if we could refund at least half of what we paid he said it is not possible. And we asked if we could change to another hotel under the same group (Raha Gold Residence), he refused at first but eventually allow us to see the room. It was even worse than Raha Grand. Again they fooled people by putting beautiful brand new hotel when in fact the Raha Gold Residence is far worse than what exactly they put on its website (http://www.rahagroupphuket.com). I understand that the booking we made cannot be refunded and he also mentioned that it is the policy that hotel cannot refund it. However, as a manager who runs hotel and responsible for customer service, he should be ashamed of fooling the guests with fake pictures of hotel condition. It is clearly the hotel’s policy too delivering of what you have promised and meet every description that you have put on your website to the customer. Therefore at least he could put a minimum effort to fix it by refunding some money for the displeased customer.
I wrote this complain because I sincerely do not want anyone else experience the same as me, being fooled by Raha Grand Hotel. Please everyone do not book any Raha Group Hotel in Phuket. Do not believe anything you see in their website or any description they wrote. Avoid those hotels, you can find better and newer hotels with similar price around Patong area. I have done researchddd about it and compare most of the hotels. I really regret we had booked it for 7 nights and I will never ever return to this place again. I hope in the future no one will experience the same thing as what we had.

Agoda booking no [protected]

I booked my trip Seoul for 5 nights thru agoda however I missed my flight so I immidiately informed agoda about it. I did not receive any response from the customer service team. When I arrived at the hotel on the second day of the booking, I was informed by the front desk that agoda already cancelled the booking, so I called the international 800 number of agoda, the customer service person did changed the booking so I was able to check in for 4 more nights, agoda even sent a new voucher, the following daw I got a message from the hotel saying I need to contact agoda beacuse they said agoda returned the money. They said agoda only paid for the first night (where I wasnt able to show up) and the second night. So they were able to cover my second night. I should shoulder the rest of my stay. I NEVER told anyone for a refund! So I ended up in the streets of freeing seoul looking for a cheaper place since they could not retrieve my money. I was totally humiliated at the hotel and I had to carry my lagguage in the streets to look for another place to stay!

Agoda booking cancellation

My friend used my credit card to book a hotel in Singapore through Agoda website and cancelled it right away, but agoda still charge the booking and haven't returned the money yet after more than 1 year! We kept on following up but there was no progress on this matter for a very long time. I've seen all the complaints with their service and I wonder why they still continue to operate? I'm deeply disappointed with their service that I would suggest not to allow them to operate anymore. They are scamming people's hard earned money. I hope someone will take action on this.

Agoda payment not received

Hi, I booked a hotel in las vegas on 26 nov 2016 at 5.00 am with Booking ID: [protected], when i went to hotel, they said me that checkin starts from 3.00 pm, i also asked if i could checkin early for extra price but they said they dont have any rooms. then i went to different hotel through expedia, i called agoda they did not answer the call and it went to voice mail. i left a message, they never gave a call back nor any update, i called them again on dec 1 2016 and they say that i never called them and they dont have any information about my calling which is ridiculous as if i lied. some action has to be taken against this.

Please immideatly credit me the cost for this accommodation 

It is unbelivable how u can offer this scrapy and extrely dirty resort

We were the only guest

We did not check in

The socalled deluxe room was a dirty disgusting room

No aircon working

Brown water in toilet and shower 

Dirty disgusting bed sheets

That is total rip off

Agoda I have been treated like a criminal by the staff.

On 29/10/2016 on 08:03 I'm coming for breakfast to entertain my friends because I do really enjoy the food here at palm seremban hotel. But one of ur staff has been questioning me as ur guest why I bring my friend ( nadhirah ) because she has been work here before. That's is not my prob because I'm as ur guest I'm free to bring any my friend n family here!
Furthermore, I'm insist ask my friend to join me even she try to cancel n I'm not doing anything wrong. When I'm reach at the cashier counter at ur coffee house to made the payment ur front office staff like don't agreed with me n he ( john ) ur front office staff ask the security to chase my friend out from ur hotel building n I've explain to the security that I just bring my friends to treat them but ur security were very nice, n he said politely to me. Later on after the security go I heard from ur loudly walkie talkie at coffee house ur staff front office ( john ). Shouted n ask the security to return back to the coffee house n insist to ask my friend nadhirah to get out from ur building it is so humiliated me! N all ur staff at coffee house was looking at us n make me feel not appetite anymore! This think were really bad experience to me. Is't this the way ur big company treat me as ur guest!? This really bad! Luckily my region manager from AIA not joining me today.
I need ur feedback n I want this thing settle in front of me cz I need an explanation from ur front office staff n ur management as well because this is not small matter for me cz I've been treat like an criminal or prisoner person.

Agoda travel site

Agoda will rip you off. They could care less what happens to travelers who book hotels and travel arrangements on its website. If you should every have anything happen to you, such as a serious medical emergency, accident, hospitalization, emergency evacuation, typhoon, surgery on any unexpected event beyond your control, expect agoda to charge you in full, irregardless of the circumstances surrounding. All agoda cares about is stealing money from you any way it can and will continue to charge you for any and all of your bookings, irregardless of any type of unfortunate events to befall you. Beware agoda is a self-serving greedy company that could care less about you, or anything that my happen to its travelers.

Agoda terrible experience from malibu lifestyle b&b (kuching, malaysia)

We arrived the hotel around 2pm on Tuesday (15th Nov 2016) for check in but the hotel was closed. There was a guest waiting outside the hotel since 1pm. We were told by the neighbor shop that they close their business on every Tuesday. The hotel didn't leave any contact number which can reach the boss/ staff. Could you imagine a hotel without staff? Luckily their neighbor shop owner was very kind and helped us to contact the owner's relative to inform the owner about us. After 1 hour++ waiting we decided to go nearby to get some food, so I left my contact number to the neighbor shop owner. After a while the neighbor shop owner called me that the hotel's staff came. We expected that the hotel is now opened and the staff is there waiting for us. However, when we went back to the hotel around 4pm, we still didn't managed to enter the hotel because the door still closed and we pressed the door bell for another 15 minutes, then the staff just opened the door for us and seem like he just woke up from a nap. We were really unhappy for another 20 minutes waiting for another person in-charge to come and deal with us, pissed off with the mosquitoes in the bar/ restaurant and no air-conditioner switched on for us while waiting, so we tried to ask for a refund but they just simply asked us to deal with Agoda. With no choice we chose to stay for a night, luckily just one night.
In my booking there clearly stated that free Wi-Fi and breakfast are provided. However the hotel didn't pay for the Wi-Fi, when we tried to access the Wi-Fi we saw the TM bill. Well I was just be patience because I have my own mobile data so it was not a big problem. The room was not that clean because we found many spider web hanging on the wall, light, & air-conditioner. I thought the bathroom should be not much problem until I saw two little centipedes crawling around the floor when I bath, this was totally terrible and dangerous! The next day which is Wednesday, when I want to check out in the morning around 9am, I still can't reach any staff and I have to simply drop the key somewhere at their counter there for check out. And of course no breakfast was provided. This was the most horrible hotel in my experiences! I felt cheated and this is totally not worth for MYR 53.25! I hope I could get a full or half refund about this. Thank you.

Agoda hotel booking

We booked a room for 13 november (booking number [protected]) but when arrived at the hotel we were told that all rooms were sold out. It was late night, nobody gave us a solution and we had to spend the night outside so tired and in the cold (all hotels in the area were fully booked). We want an inmediate refund of €53 paid for this booking, an explanation of what happened and a compensation for the total lack of service and the huge inconvenients caused. Please treat this case with priority as we need this money back to the statement or we will post it on the social media and take legal mesures.

i had similar experience too..i had booked a hotel in phuket with agoda...when we arrived at the hotel, we were told that the rooms were not available even we had a confirmed reservation through agoda...we were instead ushered to a nearby guest house (which i think cost less than the hotel room)...i had a shocked when i spoke to another guest from the UK who booked for a week at the hotel, but was also given the guest house instead... how agoda had cheated...luckily i had booked for only 1 night...after that came an email from agoda regarding the service received...and i emailed to agoda on my bad experience with the hotel..there was no response at all...

Agoda horrible service and crap computer system

1. We have been facing the problem to sign in your YCS extra-net system since Saturday to close the hotel available day.
2. Guests from agoda are keep booking and we cannot provide rooms anymore. A lot of customers are complaining with our hotel now.
3.We contacted the agent named " Ms.May Zin " from Myanmar via may.[protected]@agoda.com and she is very irresponsible and did not help at all .
4. I asked her to call me for emergency about extranet and she never did . Very Horrible customer service.

Agoda worst partnership with agoda

We've had our hotel listed on Agoda for nearly a year. Things hasn't been great from the start. Agoda take a bigger chunk of commission than other websites (yes, this extra commission is passed on to consumers therefore paying a higher rate than other booking websites), and in return provide extremely poor customer service. Each partner is assigned an account manager, mine to say the least was useless and most of the time, is unreachable. Since Agoda had integrated with Booking.com few months ago, Agoda automatically advertises all partner's listings pulled in from Booking.com. Due to this, Agoda had messed up on the technical side, resulting in wrong listings for the wrong price. After 2 months of emails and calls, Agoda failed to reply adequately, let alone take any action. We have been absorbing the losses due to Agoda's technical fault to this day. Over a month ago, judging by the inaction, we instructed Agoda to close our account entirely. Many weeks have passed and nothing has been done. Calls, emails, Facebook message - none worked.

If hotel partners are treated this way, the consequences gets passed onto guests, bearing the costs and complications as a result of Agoda's inefficiency. Do not book with Agoda.

Agoda guest house booking

I have booked sunflower guest house in Kolkata 21/10 to 24/10 for 3nights I made the booking and get confirmation straight away
I was planing to travel from Varanasi to Kolkata by train but no train available so in the same day I made the booking in few hours I send email to agoda that I will not arrive 21/10 that I will be in Kolkata 22/10
And to let the guest house
But I received no answer again and again I send message via the website still no answer
And charged me full fee on my card
I try to send email direct to the guest house they booked me in also no answer you can imagine how frustrating this My train delayed for 20hr plus this.
I took my chance and just came to the guest house when I arrived the guy that run the guest house struggling to find my reservation even I show him my booking number so after 10min he found
So disappointed and frustrating

Agoda false advertisement #[protected]

False advertisement. My booking id #[protected]
Booked an apartment in new york, paid the full amount of over $2400aud worth upfront (Via credit card)
On the day of check in, i arrived at the address as per confirmation booking and same address on their website as well.
The apartment number is 3re and it belongs to a gentlemen who has never listed his apartment on rental websites let alone agoda.com
Also he has inform me this address has been used fraudulently before and isn't the first time he or anyone has been made aware of this situation.
The company that listed this ad via www.Agoda.com is a fraud, fake number that rings, no answer and goes to voicemail. Only communicate via email.
Reported asap to agoda.com on the 30th september and today is now the 5th october. Still no news about my refund.
What kind of validations/verifications/or any security measure did agoda.com take to ensure this address is actually legitimate? Also the images are fake as well.
Now im in dispute with agoda.com and reported this to my bank.
Safe to say i will never book through agoda.com and will advise all to steer clear of this scamming hotel booking website that condones illegal and scamming activities through company.
Agoda.com does not give a crap at the end of the day about your loss, but more so about their loss in their own pocket.

Agoda fraudulent hotel booking with id - [protected]

Hi,

This is Ankur Agarwal. Booking Id - [protected].

I have a serious issue with the way AGODA operates the hotel booking case. I was checking the prices for a goa package for 2 adults for 3N/4D between 7th Jan 2017 until 10th Jan 2017 online with various hotel sites and finalized the booking with GOIBIBO. To my surprise, I checked my citibank statement today to notice that an amount of Rs. 20400 have been charged to my citibank credit card without even my permission/consent as no message from AGODA was sent to my registered mobile no. neither the OTP and other payment authentication steps were being processed. This is unacceptable and will amount to serious escalation of this matter.

I consider the above transaction as a fraudulent one as the same was not initiated by me.

Please ensure that the above issue is rectified and booking is cancelled and the total amount (Rs. 20400) is refunded back to my Citibank credit card a/c ending with 0963 on urgent basis.

I fail to go through the customer care nos. as no one picks up! Consider changing the numbers and ensure that somebody picks the call from the other side.

I would like hear soon on the above and can be contacted @ 91-[protected]

Agoda booking a villa in protaras cyprus vila la vita and not vila anna.

My first and last experience with them.
The worst site ever!
I booked a villa in protaras cyprus (Booking id [protected]) from their site looking specific photos and when i send an email to confirm my reservation about the specific villa the told me that i have booked an another! They tried to blame me about their incapability and fault!They offered free cancellation something that i am laughing, or staying in the villa that i have not booked !
Of course i canceled my reservation and and made one from expedia(Hope better).
Until now they have not put my money back and also they changed the photos of the villa that i have booked with others!
Scammers.
Can customer care service help us against this big companies?

Agoda booking of hotel avista () andheri west, mumbai)

With ref to booking id # [protected] check-in august 26, 2016

This is ayush kedia here, I had make the booking of hotel avista, (Andheri west, mumbai) for 26 august, , 2016, through www.Agoda.com and my experience was horrible. It is my sincere advise to everyone that never make booking of hotels through a fraud site www.Agaoda.com.
My experience was very bad and even I had email and call the customer care team but unfortunately their was no reponses.
Pls note my experience
1. Hotel location was wrong
2. Area was pathetic, very dirty area.
3. Hotel was pathetic and annoying.
4. Rooms were pathetic too.
5. Overall hotel was very poor grade.
6. Rooms were not same as shown in pictures.
7. Serious fraud case.
I did not make my entry and left and started searching for other hotels.

Agoda hotel booking

I booked a hotel in Ravis, Kollam, India for 3 days stay with booking ID-[protected] on 19th August .When I started booking on the website, initially there was included breakfast and cancellation policy-allowing us to cancel the booking before 3 days. But I have received confirmation without these facilities.
when i called the customer care, they suggested that we be allowed to cancel the booking and make another one .After two days no reply then I called them back they said it cant be cancelled . Our experience with your contact centre staff was disappointing to say the lest.
I am deeply disappointed with the way the whole case was handled and there has been very little sincerity from Agoda's end about the distress we faced .
