I was contacted by a salesperson on the phone concerning health-care and as I am low income with pre-existing conditions health care has been impossible to find. I was told that this plan covered emergency room, hospital admittance, labs, xrays, doctors visits and prescription costs. The truth is that the pharmacy discounts are a better deal than the plan and I had an emergency run to the hospital and out of a $2000+ bill exactly $275 was covered. I have had this insurance for 1 year paying faithfully but not needing to go in and I'm very disappointed that now that I do need it, it is not there for me. They have also had the gall to increase premiums.
I am currently trying to cancel my membership so that I can pay for my hospital visit. The book sent to me says that in order to cancel you have to email a cancellation form to them. The form is supposed to be included within your packet. It is not. I now worry about what it is going to take to leave this. I feel rather foolish and hope that others will learn from my mistake. I also know that I can still be a target since I have no health insurance and no legitimate insurance seems to be available to me as an unemployed person.

I h had been with WAW for about a year and when I was getting signed up with Medicare and my secondary insurance and PDP, I canceled the police with WAW. A week ago I was gong over some of my credit card bill and dicovered that they have still be taking the money out of our account. I called the number on my credit card and just got a fast busy signal. I had got rid of all my old paper work thinking I was finished with them (they also didn;t pay what they said they would). I am from Wyoming but I sure would like to file a class action suit or get the company to refund all my money. My e-mail is sharpgaryandnancy#yahoo.com I hope to hear from other people on this

I also have been screwed over by AWA (Homeland Health Care). Was sold a policy in 9/13 covering me with my pre existing condition (Type 2 diabetes) and was told by agent that it would cover everything that my old policy (with my employer before I retired) covered. In January I had to be rushed to the hospital with severe pancreatitis and have to be treated with IV antibiotics and have my gallbladder removed. Needless to say, after 5 days in hospital and receiving a bills totaling around $55, 000 I am now left with major medical bills and insurance that claims most everything is NOT covered under my Multi Plan. Insurance paid around $4, 000 total. This company is a joke and its sad that they can do this to people with no thoughts as to how this can affect them in the long run. A big shout out to anyone in the state of Indiana area that has coverage with this company. I have been in touch with the State Insurance board and if everyone that has had problems with this company in Indiana get together maybe we can file a class action suit or just get this company to bring some restitution to the people who in good faith signed up for their health insurance. I am leaving my email address to anyone who would like to get in touch with me.

TO: Cane26 and any others out there who may be targets.
Please do not give this company any credit/debit/checking account information. They are selling a bill of goods which will only give you "discounts" on services. Their prescription services are a joke and you can get better discounts using your own grocery store or drugstore. Their Health Insurance will actually say on the card, if you get one, "This is not insurance". The live under numerous doing business as (DBA) and they are selling something that does not exist. Please be WARNED. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY. You can check all of this ou online.

I am going though the same thing as we speak. I will be cancelling my policy in the morning. The number that I am calling is [protected] ext. 195 to cancel with Lamont.
