Aerotek not paying me on time

I started working with Aerotek for a job in Richardson, in September 2014. I should have transitioned over by now with the company but I have not. It took only two weeks for my direct deposit to kick in then. In November I left and took a permanent position which I worked 3 days and left because the position I was offered and the amount of pay was not what I was given after getting there. I went back to the company I was working at and I went to a couple people in the company. I did not contact Aerotek right off which made them angry. So, went back and had the direct deposit info cancelled because I switched accts. I was told by people in the company I would transition over in January even with me going back to the company. Since January I have emailed and called, left voice mails asking Aerotek and people at the company I am at; when am I transitioning over to the company's payroll? No one ever responds on all times of me reaching out to them
Before I moved recently, I gave my new address to the Aerotek a month in advance and called them to confirm if they got it and they did. I called a week before and two days before moving and asked them to send my checks to new address. After moving
I did not get the check they mailed for two weeks, I had to rant and scream to get them to cut me a check within one day so I could have my paycheck.
So even though they got my new address a month in advance, no one; not even their corporate office could send my check to new address.
Then I gave them direct deposit info on my acct. been three weeks now and now they say it will take another two- three weeks for my direct deposit to kick in.
Since when does it take 6 weeks or more for direct deposit to kick in? Aerotek is lazy and unprofessional! I should have gotten my check two days ago and now it is Saturday and still waiting for my check. My bills are not going to wait because Aerotek is not doing their job.
I have filed a complaint against them with Better Business Bureau and Monday, will be contacting Tx Labor Board/ Tx Work Force Commissions!

Aerotek is the worst Staffing Agency ever! They are unprofessional and lazybones!

Other contractors at the company I am at now, are complaint too because they are not getting their pay checks either on time, their Direct Deposits got messed up, and several have said their banks couldn't cash their checks because the checks Aerotek issued to them were BAD.

This Aerotek is unprofessional, lazy, and rest assured, they are getting their money from their clients! While the contractors have to go round and round with staffing agency to get paid!

Do not go to Aerotek staffing unless you have thousands $$$ saved to cover you. You will not get paid on time and that is if the check they issue to you is good.

Aerotek lack of professionalism

Devin Stewart hired me in Aerotek Phoenix and I worked for Alere Health and they did not provide employee's with a time card and I was asked to step off the assignment and they did not pay me and I am not sure if i will have my 48 hours of work! Lack of professionalism both companies and no respect for the people they are hiring on. I have contacted the Department of Labor regarding my pay.

Aerotek unprofessional interview

I went to their office located in Miami Lakes to receive and apply for a Job that was offered to me by e-mail. I was received by a recruiter named Jasmine Villacis and she started a very rude and unprofessional interview. She wanted to know with details all the places I had applied before and wanted me to sign a document saying that If somebody else called me about that position I was not able to negotiate only with Aerotek. I refused to sign and the interview was done.
I drove from about 25 miles to apply for this job and I feel I was not treated with courtesy and professionalism. I already applied to other companies and I was never had been treated in this way.

Aerotek unprofessional and lies to your face

Worse employment staffing service out there. I was interviewed and hired by JESSICA SHEEHY (AREOTECK APPLETON WI ). I went to the orinetation, got my badge, was ready to start work, only to be told that I could not start till I had a drug test. I have no problem with that, what I have a problem with is I was told by Jessica sheehy that I could start the job then have the drug test. I was sent home. I called and called and even emailed her about this. NO RESPONSE till a week later. I get an email from her saying the company decided to go with someone else. REALLY ? She messed up, and now I'm out a job. Also she was so rude and unprofessional, I should of known this was all some kind of scam. Again, her name is jessica sheehy, appleton wi office [protected]. If she contacts you RUN

Aerotek horrible horrible agency

Wow... Where to begin! This agency's owner must not care about who they have representing them which in turn means they must not care about sustaining a positive reputation as well! I am a human resources professional & have worked with many staffing agencies... Aerotek by far is the absolute worse agency every created & I find it hard to believe they are still in business at all! I relocated to the portland area & of course most of the opportunities are now being pushed through these "agencies" so I too have to "go through them" to find opportunities. Working with many agencies in my profession, aerotek was definitely not one I wanted to use having had horrific experience from them in the st louis area but unfortunately the position I found appealing was being offered through these idiots! So, i'm going through the process... & the company (not aerotek) liked me as much as I like them... Yah! It never happens but I instantly loved this company & they loved me — win win! Unfortunately aerotek is just as challenged in portland as they were in stl but I got through it. After working at the company I almost left because of having to deal with andrew & illina at aerotek! Andrew is supposed to be the "head guy" which is who I reached out to because illina (a staffer) has been repeatedly rude, demeaning, judgemental & ignorant. She had the audacity to get irate with me because I was trying to get a hold of my staffer who had left me a voice mail... Long story short it was so bad I had to resort to recording my calls with her. After advising andrew of this & playing these conversations... He was remarkably shocked at her behavior & advised me that he would take care of this immediately. Needless to say he did nothing, no follow up, no reprimand, nothing! I was so appalled by their treatment I went to the company I was working through them at & put everything on line. I told my supervisor there that I will no longer feed the hand of aerotek and unless they terminated the contract and hired me themselves I would quit... It was that bad.in this day in age to walk away from a "job" may sound ludicrous but this agency left me no choice... I could not & would not continue any relationship with them for my own sanity. As most of you know, agencies make it difficult to "get out of a contract" but due to another "temp" working at the same company they pretty much made a deal & the company hired me out from under this nightmare. I'm nearing the end of my first year & couldn't be happier with the company that fought for me. As you can imagine, aerotek is no where around this company anymore. I do, however, enjoy educating many about aerotek & i'm happy to report that many of my professional contacts nationwide refuse to work with them (most of them too had horror stories involving aerotek) and I advise employee's of the same. It's a wonderful feeling when you can not only help others by warning them of the dangers of dealing with aerotek (too many negative instances to spout here!) as well as hopefully being a part of the team to get them out of business! Feel free to join this team with me... Membership is growing each day! :) thank you very much for taking the time to read this and remember to heed my warning or you'll be the next member of this team! :) take care all!

Aerotek poor professionalism

I had an interview with Miss. Rozlin Harris of Aerotek at 1 P.M.. The afore mentioned Miss Harris did not show up (back from lunch) until 1:15 walked in and addressed me. Told me wait one more minute while she went to print out my resume. Ten minutes later she walked back out and said "let’s go to the conference room" and then turned and asked "do you have a copy of your resume?"
We went in to the conference room and went through the interview Miss Harris never asked about the job I applied for. Miss Harris just kept pushing with your experience we will submit your resume for these jobs. I did not receive a phone call for two days, and then I received an email stating there is a problem with your resume. I have never found out what that issue was or is with my resume. I received another email to call her; this was four days later. Miss Harris then began to tell me that with 30+ years of experience as a technician and Engineer that I was under qualified. This was for a position that I had worked at for 6 years with the same company, but left to go back to school. I did note even qualify for my previous position. I spoke with the hiring manager and my resume was never even submitted to the hiring group. The manager was the one who suggested I apply for the position.
I cannot speak for the company as a whole, but Miss Harris has no business being in her current position. I have 30 + years of technical experience and I hold Five A/S degrees, one 2 year certificate and a bachelor’s degree. Yet I do not qualify in her opinion for my old position.

Aerotek horribly unprofessional

Lindsay Leddy Piscataway, NJ rep
I had applied for a position that was posted on one of the career websites. Went through the whole process for the application. Received a call from the above named rep to make an appt for an interview. The intial job that was applied for was no longer available which was communicated to me that this was known. A second position was proposed which was similiar to what was being sought. Contact was made the following day confirming the interest in the position the was proposed". A follow up call was made the next day upon which a voice mail was left'. No callback was made from the rep for the rest of that day or the next?. Another call was made as a follow up with a voice mail also being left/. As the day was almost finished another call was made upon which voice mail was reached again;. Proceeded to immediately call back through the switchboard and the phone was amazingly answered:. The conversation was left that I was to be informed regardless if this was a go or no go/. Now that it has been around three weeks since no calls, no emails and basically no nothing from this rep!. Highly unprofessional, clueless and has absolutely no common decency

Aerotek female tele marketer f-a-r-t-s like an elephant

Aerotek - Female Tele marketer f-a-r-t-s like an elephant

Tele Marketer Cindy Suspended For Passing Gas

Girl's Family Says Punishment Too Steep

Springfield, Massasschuets -- A chubby 300 pound female Aerotek temporary staffing
employeehas been suspended from work because she intentionally passed gas and
refused to stop eating refried beans and drinking cold beer in the lunch room,
according to the unnamed call center management. Cindy was also seen bringing to
work "balut" by the dozen which is chicks still inside the egg shell for snacks,
we beleive that this is how she won over Paul another Aerotek temporary staffing
employee by sharing her "balut" with Paul, later that week co workers said that
they saw Cindy's phone number next to Paul's coffee cup, Paul being a married man
began playing hard to get and this is when Cindy began passing gas to win him over.
This was the first time we ever seen a black skinny anorexic man turn blue all 6ft
and 88 pounds of him.
The call center manager reported that Cindy a veteran short 300 pound Aerotek temporary
staffing employee was suspended from the call center under a company rule against
disruptive behavior and eating beans and drinking cold beer in the lunchroom and also
eating "balut" grossing out the other co workers by pulling the whole chicks out of the
egg shell before eating them.
Supervisors and co workers said Cindy repeatedly passed gas to make Paul laugh, but
instead Paul passed out from the stench and collapsed. Emergency paramedics had to be
called in to bring in smelling salts and oxygen mask to revieve Paul. Simon, the manager's
right hand man who sometimes uses his left, in the mean time till the ambulance arrived
Simon didn't hesitate to volunteer with a big fat grin on his face and huge lump in his
pants to give Paul mouth to mouth resuscitation with an occasional slip of the tongue.
They said the smell of Cindy f-a-r-t-i-n-g also made it difficult to breathe making the
other tele marketers and co workers turn blue in the face and gasping for air.
The manager said that when he heard Cindy f-a-r-t-i-n-g it was like music to his ears like
a wild herd of elephants trumping and blowing their trunks.
Cindy's family said their daughter isn't perfect and they're appealing the suspension,
saying the manager went too far with its punishment. The manager did say that he enjoyed
the smell of Cindy's passing gas and that it reminded of being back home in the Phillipines
when he lived in tents and everyone used to poop in the corner of the tent.
On the brighter side the manager just announced that Cindy will be re instated for training
purposes and will be allowed to eat all the deep fried beans and drink all the cold beer she
wants at work at her desk and that all tele markers with less than 12 leads an hour will be
sitting next to Cindy till their production improves or are carried out on stretchers by
paramedics.
Smelling salt and oxygen masks will now be supplied in the emergency kit next to the band aids,
which for some strange reason Simon, the manager's right hand man who sometimes uses his left
has been going through a box of band aids every other day, Simon claims its from wood splinters
chopping wood on his uncle's farm, but we found out that his uncle sold the farm 10 years ago,
we always wondered what a right hand man who sometimes uses his left does with his right hand.

Aerotek the guide to taking a dump at work

- Aerotek - The Guide to Taking a Dump at Work

Originally published in 2011 as "The Aerotek temporary staff empoyee guide

to taking a dump in a call center"...this document is a living tribute to something

we all have to do at our jobs from time to time. Foul smells, rude sounds, and bad

reputations are the stuff of legend or nightmare for many a minimum wage worker

tele marketer. With this "Guide to taking a dump at work" we will "show you the ropes

and help through a difficult learning time for many, and a happy place for others...

Escapee -- A f-a-r-t that slips out while taking a leak at the urinal or forcing poop in

a stall. This is usually accompanied by a sudden wave of panic/embarrassment. This is

similar to the hot flash you receive when passing a police car while speeding. If you

release an escapee, do not acknowledge it. Pretend it did not happen. If you are standing

next to the f-a-r-t-e-r at the urinal, pretend that you did not hear it. No one likes an escapee,

it is uncomfortable for all involved. Making a joke or laughing makes both parties feel uneasy.

Jailbreak (Used in conjunction with escapee) -- When forcing poop, several farts slip

out at a machine gun's pace. This is usually

a side effect of diarrhea or a hangover. If this should happen do not panic, remain in

the stall until everyone has left the bathroom so to spare everyone the awkwardness of

what just occurred.

Courtesy Flush -- The act of flushing the toilet the instant the nose cone of the log hits

the water and the poop is whisked away to an undisclosed location. This reduces the amount

of air time the poop has to stink up the bathroom. This can help you avoid being caught

doing the WALK OF SHAME.

Walk of Shame -- Walking from the stall, to the sink, to the door after you have just

stunk-up the bathroom. This can be a very uncomfortable moment if someone walks in.

As with all f-a-r-t-s, it is best to pretend that the smell does not exist.

Out of the Closet Pooper -- A colleague who poops at work and is damn proud of it. You

will often see an Out of the Closet Pooper enter the bathroom with a newspaper or magazine

under their arm. Always look around the office for the Out of the Closet pooper before

entering the bathroom.

Pooping Friends Network -- A group of coworkers who band together to ensure emergency

pooping goes off without incident. This group can help you to monitor the whereabouts

of OUT OF THE CLOSET POOPERS and identify SAFE HAVENS.

Safe Haven -- A seldom-used bathroom somewhere in the building where you can least expect

visitors. Try floors that are predominantly of the opposite sex. This will reduce the odds

of a pooper of your sex entering the bathroom.

Turd Burgler -- A pooper who does not realize that you are in the stall and tries to force the

door open. This is one of the most shocking and vulnerable moments that occur when work taking

a dump at work. If this occurs, remain in the stall until the TURD BURGLAR leaves. This way, you

will avoid all uncomfortable eye contact.

Camo-cough -- A phony cough which alerts all new entrants into the bathroom that you are in a

stall. This can be used to cover-up a WATERMELON or to alert potential TURD BURGLARS. Very

effective when used in conjunction with an ASTAIRE.

Astaire -- A subtle toe-tap that is used to alert potential TURD BURGLARS that you are occupying a

stall. This will remove all doubt that the stall is occupied. If you hear an ASTAIRE, leave the

bathroom immediately so the pooper can poop in peace.

Watermelon -- A turd that creates a loud splash when hitting the toilet water. This is also an

embarrassing incident. If you feel a WATERMELON coming on, create a diversion. See CAMO-COUGH.

Havana Omelet -- A load of diarrhea that creates a series of loud splashes in the toilet water.

Often accompanied by an escapee. Try using a CAMO-COUGH with an ASTAIRE.

Uncle Ted -- A bathroom user who seems to linger around forever. Could spend extended lengths

of time in front of the mirror or sitting on the pot. An UNCLE TED makes it difficult to relax

while on the c-r-a-p-p-e-r, as you should always wait to drop your load when the bathroom is empty.

This benefits you as well as the other bathroom attendees.

Fly-by -- The act of scouting out a bathroom before pooping. Walk in, check for other poopers.

If there are others in the bathroom, leave, and come back again. Be careful not to become a

FREQUENT FLYER. People may become suspicious if they catch you constantly going into the bathroom.

Crack [censored] -- A c-r-a-p-p-e-r that has seen more ### than a Greyhound Bus. Tell- tale signs of a CRACK [censored]

include pubes, p-i-s-s stains and s-h-i-t streaks. Avoid CRACK [censored]S at all cost. Try finding out when the

janitor cleans each particular bathroom. Don't forget, a CRACK [censored] can become a SAFE HAVEN

Aerotek worst staffing company, idiots for recruiters horrible company

aerotek has to be one of the WORST companies ever for staffing etc. I went to a so-called 'job fair' for a company. I was treated like dirt since I was the last person being interviewed. The females all gave me derogatory attitude and looks...I already knew I wasnt going to get the job before the stupid female ### even interviewed me. She hadnt even seen my resume yet but I knew i wasn't going to get hired. I was spoken down to during the really bad interview--these are recruiting professionals? Shawna the ### who interviewed me was horrible...rude, weird...asked strange questions very rudely...overall I was overqualified as a candidate for the position. I had many years of that particular position, and most people who are hiring for that who see my resume hire me immediately. Yet, the aerotek idiots then threw in the phrase of "we're looking for people who have done this the past 3 years." How ironic--I had been doing a different job the past three years on my resume...(really three years?) How convenient...yet I also mentioned I was doing something related to that and had a ton of experience in it...but that didn't matter. In fact, I was selling products from that very company they were hiring for itself...that I guess just wasn't qualification enough. I was asked--well if you have two jobs already, (unstable ones on the side) why are you applying for this one? Hey, (idiot) because its a stable permanent position you ###...the way it was asked was really rude too as if---why on earth are u looking for a job if you already are working in a job? Shawna the interviewer was VERY rude unprofessional...weird...so it didnt matter that I was selling products as an independent contractor for the very company I was applying a position for, had years of experience for the specific job, and was very qualified. They seemed to find tons of excuses to not hire me. I had a mediocre 5 minute fake interview and was let go after I had to wait there 45 minutes...I left a message for another recruiter when I left complaining of my treatment and how I didnt feel I got a fair interview and was more than qualified for the position...again I was told by the idiot recruiter---(im not sure who hires these idiots or if aerotek is even legitimate at all)...that theyre looking for sales people who have been doing that for the past three years. Again how weird that prior to 3 years, I had been doing call center work, but 3 years ago started something else...but was also doing sales as well...ironic that 3 years seemed to be the cut off date...so the company was looking for someone who had been in a call center in the past 3 years...that seems to be the most pathetic excuse ive ever heard of or bizarre requirement...I bet had my resume stated two years, they would have been throwing the two years in the picture...even being an independent rep for the products didnt qualify me as a candidate---aerotek has the most unprofessional idiotic staff of fake recruiters ive ever heard of for a company like that...they are stupid weird...rude...pitiful and im not sure what they hire people based on but its surely isnt qualifications. They are unprofessional ###s during their ridiculous interviews and have no clue how to interview or hire people. It seems like a bunch of stuck up recent college grads doing it and they are stupid very stupid people...unethical unprofessional and pitiful. They even said "we may have more positions that are suited for your qualifications"...wtf? honestly...there arent more positions suited for my qualifications...THAT is the one position that is completely suited for my qualifications...in fact im sure if an engineer walked in there those incompetent losers and ###s would be telling him hes not qualified for an engineering job but they can find something better suited for him...you will not find a group of more incompetent ###s for recruiters---beware of this horrible company and its lack of everything...

Aerotek discrimination, not fair chances to employees, not fair interviews, reject candidates before even interviewing them

I went to a job interview and was discriminated I feel by the HR person there by the name of Shawna. Ive been to many job interviews in my life and its easy to assess who or what is discriminating against someone. For me I recall this happening to me many years ago at a staples where the female HR people were being blatantly rude lying to me and nto giving me a fair chance at a job there. It was a very bad experience. Needless to say the experience at aerotek wasn't horrible but it was stil what I feel was discrimination. I went a 'job fair' they were having for a company. I was the last person to get interviewed. I waited 30 minutes, while witnessing everyone else sit in the rooms for at least 15 minutes or more with the recruiters. The females were all giving me strange looks and I had a feeling i was not going to get a chance if I interviewed with any of them. After 30 minutes or more it was my turn adn instead of treating me like a real candidate, the female who approached me was not friendly, and acted as if she was going to sit there and "give me a few minutes" to chat as she said. She basically already wasn't going to hire me before even interviewing me. I knew before my 'semi interview' i was not going to get hired--which is very rare. Generally you go into an interview, get a fair shot and then find otu the results. In this case based on the negative treatment by some fo the women there and the comment made by the female, I already knew I wasn't hired and she acted as if she was just taking me in b/c I was sitting out there. She literally said "Ok well I can sit with you for a few minutes" (then get u out of here which was how she was acting) which si absurd since I went in there for a real interview with my resume, hoping to get a fair chance at a job fair. During the interview--she was brash and rude and asked me 10 questions about my previous employment with a bad attitude..."why did u leave this job" "why did u do this"..."why did u do that"...nothing I said was right-she was also being rude and drilling me in a rude way so that no matter what I said it was wrong and it was obvious she had no interest or desire to even treat me as a potential candidate--she also kept asking me what other companies I had interviewed with--many times which was unnecessary...almost as if I wasn't good enough to even think about getting a position with the company...also the manner in which she asked questions was just very rude and abrasive...it was obvious not only did she have no initial desire to hire me or give me a fair chance, she wanted to make my experience was negative as possible before she finally just rejected me...also it was a sales/call center position...my specialty is sales/call center experience...Ive done it for many years..I'm an expert at the position...Ive also done a lot of sales...she then claimed I hadn't done any 'recent sales' which I had to correct her as I did...either way it didn't matter--she wanted to sit there with me literally for a few minutes and reject me which I already knew...that is not an interview or even close to a fair interview...so even though I had recent experience, and all the qualifications, she really just wanted to not give me any chacne with the position whatsoever from the beginning. This is odd as this is a job fair--and the recruiting they aer doing is very shoddy and not right. There are many bad recruiters out there who use their personal bias towards someone as grounds for hiring or not hiring---the female who did the interviewing was very rude and weird...her name was 'shawna' and i already knew she wasn't going to hire me the moment she opened her mouth and took me in the room...sorry but a professional staffing company has no right treating potential candidates in this way and it is ridiculous...maybe it is females who are jealous of other females in some way and decide to treat them this way...but I know I was not given a fair interview and the female basically just wanted to go through the motions so she could reject me without even looking at my resume...great job fair this company holds... very rude women who reject people before even meeting them or even looking at their resume... just beware before even attempting to go through this so-called 'staffing company' for any job position at all-- they dont hire based on experience or qualifications-- they seem to discriminate for no reason and treat people not so well...

Aerotek totally unethical

Brware of this agency.

Hired by Aerotek for a temp-to-perm job at a large financial institution as an administrative assistant. Was on the job for 22 months and there was no permanent job to be had - the position I was in had only been staffed by temps for years prior to my being placed in the position and I was replaced by another temp.

I've worked for a lot of temp agencies over time and this company is totally unethical. Not only do you not get paid holidays or any accrued vacation time based on number of hours worked (read your contract carefully because they will “mislead” you during your interview), but sometimes they neglect to pay you. When they do neglect to pay you, it can take days of phone work trying to reach a person (in my experience, they don’t respond to voice mail messages) and sometimes it takes over a week to get your missing pay, but only if you manage to reach a human so keep trying. Even calling their corporate headquarters in MD will only get you voice mail and your calls aren’t returned.

Aerotek exploits the unemployed in these hard times by paying slave wages and dodging any contact with you, their employee, once they place you at a job. Most “quality” agencies offer paid holidays and accrued vacation time after you work a certain number of hours. Aerotek will tell you that they do, but if you carefully read the contract, there is no mention of it.

If you decide that a low paying job with no benefits or perks is better than no job (that’s the position I was in when hired by Aerotek), be aware up front that you will never receive holiday pay, accrue vacation time or get a raise.

Find another agency, one that respects their employees and treats you with dignity.

I am recently having a very difficult time with Aerotek (Providence, RI office). They required me to provide them with 3 supervisors for references which is not a problem with the 20 years of solid experience I have. What they are doing is using "my" foreman/supervisor references to recruit "them"! They offered "them" jobs! Aerotek has told me (for 2 months) they do "have" open positions that I am "more than capable of" but haven't put me in for any of them. They are just using my contacts for "their" own gain. Luckily my supervisors have warned me! Aerotek in RI are extremely unprofessional and ethical. Do "NOT" make the same mistake I did!

Aerotek fraud and scam artists

This year Toyota gave their employees A christmas bonus, But instead of the aerotek employees getting their bonuses that Toyota dished out Aerotek used them for their own personal gain to cover pto hours of aerotek employees. most of the employees have to be there 6 months before they even get pto days and the turn over rate is quick. So it makes me wonder where did our money go if you never got the PTO days and why am I paying for someone else pto when I earned the
christmas bonus. Working 52 to 68 hours a week

Aerotek wrogful termination

Aerotek is discriminative in nature and fired me by using a medical excuse as what they call an occurance to justify their worng doing. The amount of harrasment aerotek allows in their company by other employees is rediculous. The first 8 weeks i worked for them they shorted my check and i had to get them to fix it, one week i was shorted 8 overtime hours. They allowed me to be physically mentally and sexually harrassed and in The end i was the one punished for it.Dont work for Aerotek

Aerotek full of cr%p

I registered with Aerotek, two hours later had an interview, thirty minutes later had an offer. I was so stoked! Worked my butt off at a job I loved for four months, my manager advised me they were going to hire me in, the next day my Aerotek rep called me to advise that my position was terminated because the host company was terminating their contract with Aerotek. Two days later I talked to a friend who worked at the same place through Aerotek, and was still working. I called Aerotek and they said the reason I was terminated was because of attendance issues. I never missed a day and was never late. When I told them this they said it was disciplinary issues. When I responded that I never once had any problems, they just responded that the host company was unhappy with my performance or conduct. I called the manager who responded that it was an outright lie. Aerotek advised the host company that they had found I had lied on my application and that is why they had terminated me. It was complete BS!

I applied for unemployment and found that I am one day short of eligible, and was told by the agent at the unemployment office that Aerotek has a reputation for this because they get a percentage of their placed employees wages from the host company, higher waged employees are terminated without cause before they are eligible for unemployment so Aerotek can bring in another employee and keep getting paid, and it is all legal.

Thanks Aerotek, hope that little bit of money you're getting is worth taking the food off my kids' plates!

Aerotek totally unprofessional

Was brushed off and insulted by recruiter/ unprofessional ryan horton whom rarely returned my calls, told me inaccurate information pertaining to job start dates, and Mr. Horton also seems to get offended with contacting other recruiters relative towards other positions. If Ryan does return a call it's 2 weeks later and at the end of business day on Friday. His responses are "What's going on now, what's the problem now, you've talked to every other associate in my office." In a inclined tone with sighs. I am only trying to pursue occupation/employment, I am directed to his associate/ aka partner in crime- Trevor and he has me on speaker phone while ryan is immaturely yelling in background like an adolescent child. I asked for the contact to corporate and Trevor refused to assist. Good luck working with such professionally inclined people.

This week alone, I have sent one email and left two messages to get a status update. No one has returned my call. My former recruiter Jeff O'Hara was great and I could get him on the phone or email quickly. He got promoted and now I'm not even sure who would be my recruiter. Very unhappy with the Aerotek office in North Charleston, SC. Very, very unhappy!

Aerotek the company is not paying their employees on time

I have had multiple problems with this employment agency. When I first started my employment (oct. 11th) everything was fine,... Until - it was time for me to be paid! My recruiter (derrick higgins) told me I should receive my check the following friday (oct. 22). Well it never came, so I called him the next day (sat), because it didn't come that day either. So derrick said "it should definatley be there on monday". Well guess what?... It never came. So I spoke with megan morgan and I enformed her that my car payment was due, and I have a "passtime register" in my car. (the loan company will idle your car until you make your payment) she assured me my "training check" would be on my second check (nov. 29th) & offered to take me back and forth to work. (which I declined, because I should not have to do that) so both of my checks were on there. The following pay period, megan morgan called me & stated that the company I am employed through (garden city group) did not approve my hours. So I went to the lady who handles payroll approval (amanda)...& she showed me in the database where she had approved all of my hours. So I called megan back & she said they werent, so I had amanda call her. Everything panned out, and aerotek had everyone come to the office and pick our checks up on nov. 4th. I did not recieve my 4th check on friday nov. 12th. I called aerotek & they stated they sent them out that day, so we should recieve them either saturday or monday. Well today is thursday, november 18th, 2010. Aerotek told me there is nothing they can do until 10 days after it has been sent out. Then I would have to come up there, sign a form, & they will have another one mailed to their office. (which will take a total of 12days I had to wait for my check) today another check was issued out, and I still havent recieved payment for the check for last week. Now I am not a person to complain, but I am struggling to pay my bills at the moment. My uncle was murdered in july and my parents left it up to me to pay for the funeral (due to their lack of funds & location). This has now caused me to face hardship! I had the place I reside at now checked for a broken pipe, and they confirmed a gas leak is there. I would have stayed in a hotel for the next few days but... I did not get my check so I have no where to stay! I have a daughter named mikaia, who's 1st birthday is this weekend & I cant even buy her a cake, let alone go buy her atleast 1 present because I did not get my check! I dont have gas to get back & forth to work, (I live in the short north in columbus, ohio & my job is in dublin, ohio) sooo... I might get fired for not being able to make it back and forth to work-why?... Because I did not get my check!
I took every precaution to make sure my time sheet was in on time, and that I filled it out precisely. I have done everything on my end. They expect me to be at work, on time, everyday... Well I expect to get paid for it on time! The sad part about this is... Im not the only one they are doing this to! There are several employees who are not recieving the funds they are entitled to. Please look into this! If you need the names & numbers for the other people I know aerotek is doing this to, I will be more than happy to provide them! Thank you gratefully, michel'le miller

Well sorry to hear about that! I TRULY am...but the company I work for (in DUBLIN) Have over 50 different AEROTEK employees staffed there & come to find out that 22 out of the 50 have still not recieved at least 1 check as of today or have had more than 2 late/check issues with them. Its now to the point where we have written up a petition to have our contract with AEROTEK voided & just be hired through the company. We havent spoken to everyone that is staffed just yet...so if u are working at a job close to tuttle mall in dublin...u probably know what job im talking about! (I prefer to leave the company out of it)

Well, They are still doing it! Not paying...I am in Sarasota, Fl... I am not the only one either...we are all very upset as we are working disaster relief...up at 4am...on job site at 6am...work til 7pm ( at the earliest) and then have to go to the company we are actually doing the work for to "check out" for the day...get paperwork straight...etc...since FEMA is involved...I personally have not been signed out before 8:30pm...as we are busy...my paperwork is ready and correct...by the time I get home...I still have to empty my food cooler and make a lunch and extra for the next day...takes about another hour...This does NOT include making any type of food or a shower...have not laid my head down before 11pm yet...the up by 4 am...just like everyone else...just trying to get by and survive...my car insurance was due today...$558.00 and my direct deposit was $304 from Aerotek for 78 hours for the week...straight time up to 40 hours and time and a half thereafter! Does $304 sound like the right amount to anyone? NOT! Very, very, very...P*##@D OFF! Karma is a B*%#H! Rrrrrrrr...

After much negotiations and complaining to the company after 4 1/2 weeks they finally paid me and when I did finally get paid they left out my perdim... Aerotek then tried to explain that this has never happened before and they played the blame game never taking responsibility for there negligence. After reading many post of other people having the same issue it is obvious this company needs to better there business. I mentioned earlier how they neglected to pay my perdeim after calling several times and being told I would not receive my perdiem due to it was supposedly not approved so I then called aeroteks corporate office and fouggt to get my perdiem that they finally sent me several weeks later! I had harassing and threatening text messages from employees at Aerotek mad because I made quite the impression with corporate office. Aerotek promised me new employment and to this day I have not gotten anything for new employment and I'm still employed through Aerotek supposedly. It makes me wonder if Aerotek is trying to pull some type of scam and they are getting away with...gee this company makes me wonder wether they're ripping people off who don't say anything or whatever they're up to!

Yep started a contract with Aerotek on December 8th. First check came in Mail on a Friday. The next check was mailed from the Everett mall way location on Christmas eve. I still do not have it. I live two miles from their office. They refused to pay me and cut me a check. I have to wait until January 8th before they can do anything. What a scam. Thanks Aerotek, my rent has a $400 late fee now. Horrible company. Should be sued the pants off corporate.

I worked for Aerotek in South Carolina. It has been a month and they have not given me my first check yet. I have a Post Office box, these people mailed it to my physical address...There is no box outside of my door so they claim that I have to wait ten days to be issued another check. These people are not getting away with free labor. I look into a lawyer for my money.

Hi people,

I did some digging for everyone and since I am one of you and I found out that one of the remaining owners Jim Davis has friends up top meaning (government) and no matter how much you complain about company protocol the complaints will just go to waste. If I was you I wouldn't call the better business bureau but my state or county electives. If the issue keeps on rising then it will have to be passed on to the upper authorities that will push BBB to do something. Right now the BBB gets your complaints and sends them off and it gets dumped. The sure way also to also be heard and have a positive feedback because it is mandatory for them to do. Is to contact the white house or congress, go to there respective sites and go to contact us. Legally they have to have a type of answer. Its not the best system but it is the best we have. I hope it helps, power to workers from bad employers!

I just quit Aerotek last week, what a joke of a company! I hired on as a District Sales Manager for ACDelco, and it was a nightmare experience between both companies. I was hired and had to literally sit and wait for GM to get me a laptop that took several weeks, then VPN would not work and that was another week, then the paycheck situation was a nightmare. GM wouldn't even train me correctly, just made a bunch of copies of crap the other reps used and told me to figure it out on my own. WTF! I would e-mail my local Aerotek office and get zero responses back. I would call and leave vm's, still get nothing back. Then a week would pass and I would get an email stating that they were swamped and would get back to me when they had a chance, which never happened. They also never advised me of the 1 time yearly window to enroll for benefits, and I lost out on that as well, next window to enroll was Nov 2011! So I quit, gave a resignation and walked. I will never make that mistake again being a contract employee. They also never told me about the route I would be covering in the Ventura area, and all the driving I would have to do. Also could not buy gas on fridays and mondays either. I was also not allowed to use ACDelco business cards or I would be fired, I would have to use the cards that Aerotek supplied, which they never did supply. I had my own ACDelco ones made up anyways, but what a joke of a company! I advise everybody to stay away from Aerptek unless you absolutely need employment, was a terrible experience, and shame on GM ACDelco for utilizing them. Raytheon is other company that contracts for ACDelco/GM as well, and I heard nightmares about them as well from Raytheon contracted employees.

I have had slow paychecks in the past, but now this experience I'm having now just TICKS me off! I got my paycheck Friday, took it to the Bank of America branch I have gone to in the past, and they couldn't verify the signature so they wouldn't cash it. (mind you I have been cashing these checks weekly for almost a year now, so I was a bit surprised). So Saturday, I took it to the branch I go to the majority of the time, same issue "we can't cash this check because this signature doesn't match any on file." This is exactly why I won't deposit these checks, in fear of them bouncing.

So I called up the headquarters in Maryland, number has been disconnected, I'm starting to panic now. So I call my local office here in Torrance, and explained what is happening and that they need to re-issue a check with the correct signature. She replies "Gee, no one else is having this problem, let me call our headquarters." She calls me back and tells me they have a new check signer and that the old signer no longer works for the firm. I inquired as to why they would have the new signer sign the checks if he wasn't authorized at the bank yet. And she replies "we sent out letters to all the branches and your branches must not have gotten the letter yet. Maybe I can have my headquarters contact your branch and tell them it's ok to cash the check." It's been almost 4 hours since the last call, no word yet.

So I'm thinking and fuming, who sends out letters to each branch of a bank telling them the signature has changed on payroll checks? B of A has over 6, 100 branches in the US. So they sent over 6, 100 letters? I don't think so. Even if I wanted to change something on my account that has to do with my signature, I have to physically go into my branch where I opened my account to process the change, and then that change is automated into the computer system networked to all the branches.

My guess is Aerotek screwed up. My fear is they did this on purpose because they couldn't meet payroll! Are they going out of business? Will I ever be able to cash this check? Will I get paid this Friday and will I be able to cash this check? Meanwhile, my rent is now late, and I can't even tell my landlord when I will get paid. I could take this check to my bank and cash it there, but if B of A denies payment on the check because the signature doesn't match, I'm screwed. The reason B of A checks the signatures EVERY TIME I cash this check is because Aerotek's account is set up to do so because of check fraud.

Anyone else having issues cashing checks? Did this just start happening?

Aerotek calling/employment

What I want to know is why do they call you, leave a message for you to call, then they dont return your call? You called me, if you changed your mind about my resume or the position has been filled, say so. Dont make me return YOUR call 3 times and no response. Joanne Alamguer and Justin ? Have done this 2 times to me already. That is not what a professional recruiter should do .

Aerotek bad service

I met Mr. Barish at a job fair at a local community college. I am an electrician and a very big company was hiring and holding their own job fair the next day. Aerotek was not representing this company. But Mr. Barish said he had an in and would get me an interview. He scheduled a meeting between us during this big company's job fair, and told me not to attend; he would take care of things.

A few weeks passed and I had not heard anything. Upon several attempts to contact Mr. Barish he was never available. However, the first time my girlfriend attempted to call him, he answered, then denied all of the "advice" he had given me. He told her his company was no longer representing this other company, that they were now handling their own applications (obvious by the fact that they had held their own job fair!).

I missed a golden opportunity to apply with this company. Though I have sent my resume to them several times, I know I am just going into a pile, that they were considering all of the pre-screen applicants who attended that job fair. Who showed interest. I credit Mr. Barish at messing this up for me. And while I have complained to the company, I have not heard back and I know he still works there. It is apparent to me that he saw his own golden opportunity to cash in on a commission by selling me to this company. Only they weren't interested. If you use this job agency, please request that Scott Barish not assist you.
