I was refered to this facility by my primary doctor. I must admit it was a REAL struggle even trying to schedule an appointment with this place as I called in multiple times, left multiple voicemails in regards to scheduling an appointment and had none of them returned.

I assumed they were busy or understaffed at the moment, so I tried back some time later. I finally managed to get an appointment with them in January of 2012 and I was prescribed a pain killer which didn't really help my injuries.

I have been Xrayed, MRI'd and been to so many doctors it's getting ridicious. I told the lady Doctor on the second visit that a peticular medication worked for me, but she said she's not going to prescribe that medication even though it's not a narcotic and I've been on it before in the past.

I don't know if she's on a power trip or what but she's the most ignorant quack of a doctor I've ever visited in my life!

I then informed her that the Medication she prescribed me the first visit was making me extremely drowsy & tired, also it did not relieve my pain unlike this other medication that I've taken. So it was pretty much pointless to be taking that medication.

I was then given a prescription for a drug I already had, and also offered another prescription for a drug I've previously taken which did NOT work. I don't know if they keep these on record, but these doctors don't!

Had I not known the names of these medications, I would be running around in a little circle of Quack Doctors who do not even write down what the 'referring doctor' prescribed to me. You are all QUACKS

I WAS A PAIENT AT THE W.WARNER OFFICE FOR ABOUT 6 MONTHS, AND I WAS BEEN SEEN BY DR. LESSLIE KOTIS.DR.KOTIS IS A VERY CARING HUMANIG BEING, AND BEST OF ALL SHE WILL LISTEN TO YOU. WELL ON MY NOV. APPT. THE RECEPTIONIST MESSED UP MY APPT. FOR DEC. SO THEY BOOKED ME WITH A VERY RUDE HINDUE DR.AS SOON AS HE CAME INTO MY ROOM HE ASKED ME ARE YOU HERE FOR MEDS. I SAID YES.THEN HE ASKED ME WHY ARE YOU NOT GETTING INJECTIONS. I LET HIM KNOW THAT I COULDNOT GET THOSE STERIOD INJECTIONS ON MY SPINE CAUSE IT WILL CAUSE ME TO GET PARALYZED. HE ASKED ME WHO TOLD YOU THAT RIDICULOUS THING.I SAID THE NEUROSURGEON WHO WORKED ON MY SPINE. I TOLD HIM THAT ON JAN. 2010 AN ATERIAL MELFORMATION ON MY SPINE HAD RUPTURED.SO THE SURGEON HAD TO BRAKE 5 VERTEBRATES AND HE TOOK THE SPONGEE MATER THAT WAS IN BETWEEN EACH ONE. SO IF I WOULD GET AN INJECTION HIGHER ON MY SPINE I WOULD GET PARALYZED. SO HE GOT UP AND TOLD ME WE DONT NEED PEPOLE LIKE YOU HERE. I AM DISSAPOINTED AT THIS PLACES. DO THEY MAKE MORE MONEY WHEN THEY DO THOSE PROCEDURES THAN JUST WRITING PRESCRIPTIONS.SO WHAT DOES PEOPLE LIKE ME SUPPOSE TO DO FOR PAIN.WELL IF NO ONE DR. WILL HELP I AM GOING TO HAVE TO SEE A MARIJUANA DR. SEE IF THEY ARE MORE COMPASSIONATE. I WISH GOOD LUCK TO ALL THE PATIENTS THAT ATTEND THAT CLINIC. SO IF YOU GO THERE ASK TO BE SEEN BY DR. LESSIE KOTIS SHE IS AN ANGEL LOVE YOU LESSIE

This was the worst experience for me with pain management in 10 years..
My previous pain management dr stopped taking patients with certain insurance carriers as she was not being paid and losing money playing the game the carrier created by the carrier in attempt to get paid. She was having to prove every bill and if there were 2 billing codes for different procedures and one of them cost $5 but the other was the main office visit at $120, the company would only pay $5 and then put the provider through so much that we as patients became a liability to the pain management company. This is what brought me to Advanced Pain Management. I have only had 2 pain management drs in 5 years with each dr.. My conditions took several years to get diagnosed. My issues are degenerative although I never increased my main pain meds. I was a responsible patient, and worked with my drs. while researching which meds were less likely to be abused, sold or dangerous side affects long term. My goal was to avoid surgeries which had a 50% chance of helping and not be drugged or groggy and able to work with a clear head if at all possible. When I started with Advanced Pain Management, I was repeatedly drug tested via UA, and saliva. I was told initially they don't do medication management. I don't have a problem with that as long as we are addressing my issues and accepting there may be no cure and I may just be in serious pain, needing medication management. I was ok with being run through the gauntlet (AGAIN) to get updated MRI's and hopeful about a spinal cord MRI. This place did not want my medical records or diagnosis, just the last 4 visits at my previous pain management which states, "LOW RISK FOR DRUG ABUSE"... That alone should've made them back off of treating me like a drug seeker. 10 years of pain management without any problems is no easy task. This is a club nobody wants to join, believe me.
I was sent for X--ray of entire spine, physical therapy which exacerbated all my syptoms and I decreased my main medication by a third because I was told by the doctor I would put his license at risk because I didn't have cancer. I did this in good faith and put myself through total hell doing it but they couldn't have cared less. I was constantly threatened as if I was flaking off. All the stress from the day I started with them, has contributed to me having 3 shingle outbreaks. This would delay my completion of pt although they were extremely kind but knew pt was not helping.
Nicole Brown NE office is the absolute worst for bedside manner, lack of communication, rude condesending and suffering from what seems to be an inferiority complex with power. She did not ask nor did she know I have a chiari I malformation of the brain and a dilated biliary tree while suffering from nerve pain issues. She acted like shingles were a headache and migraines are no big deal headaches. She lied in her notes and lied or was completely confused or has serious communication problems. Regardless, I cried repeatedly prior and after these appointments.. Any time I attempted to communicate about options or a plan, I was treated as if I was drug seeking and treated disrespectfully. I put up with this for 10 months. My insurance carrier said my record was "golden" from what they could see and the DEA would not take any license for my care. My completion of pt could have been anytime but I was going for exercise reasons as they knew they weren't helping my conditions. They even had to check my blood pressure from the hyperventilating I was having and I had 20 days non-stop migraines. I could not speak of this for fear Nicole Brown would put in my records I was drug seeking. The last straw was me being sent back to the big dog, Dr Page who was ill informed apparently being told I refused an injection previously stressing to me that I was the only patient in his company that had not had an injection in 6 months! (True speak for "you are not a profitable patient") I asked where he'd want to inject me as his office had no clue of what or where my problems were. I am just so glad I am no longer with these people and I really hope Dr Page gets it together with this Nicole Brown as she will be the one who ends up getting complaints filed against his operation. At my last appointment with Dr. Page, he really didn't have the facts straight and I was just DONE with living in fear with these, fearing what they could be putting in my records that could ruin me in the pain management arena. All I wanted and needed was care and all I got was business.
I was referred to another pain management place and I am so relieved as the doctor listened and seems to be willing to work with me without treating me like I am too stoooopid to understand or a total druggie.

Today was one of the worst days I have ever had with a doctor. I met with Dr. Page to have a form filled out that DES needed, he commented that he would fill it out, but then asked me how I could sleep at night. I asked what he was referring to, and he stated that he knew other people my age, 41, who could work and that he questioned why I couldn't work, and raised his voice when asking me if I ever thought I could work again. When I explained the pain I feeling every second, he discountedme

I was forced to change to Advanced Pain Management when I lost my insurance and went on long term disability, and had to sign up through the healthcare marketplace. The plan I chose due to price only offered in pain management through Advanced Pain. The Greenway office which is closest to me only has one provider, NP Nicole Brown. After multiple visits with her where she brought me to tears I finally told her that she was mean, discourteous, condescending I finally told her that she gave poor patient care and was mean, condescending and it really made me feel terrible. She wrote in her notes that I was no longer welcome at that clinic. I transferred to Heather, NPR at the 16th St. and Thomas office . She is actually a very caring, professional and thorough practitioner. She listens and actually reads the notes in the file. She is limited however by the agency for which she works. She has put up referrals for authorizations for services for me – and the referral staff can take days if not a week to send them to the insurance company. She doesn't get messages in a timely manner from the desk staff. In general The office staff are overworked and there aren't enough of them to answer the phone's in a timely manner. I've had to speak to office managers to get things done. Dr. Page is only seen if you need a procedure. He seems to be a nice man, but when I told him of my problems with the NP Nicole, he suggested that I must have asked for more medication/narcotics. That is not at all what happened. I had asked her to explain the procedure to me since I had gotten different answers from her, Heather who I had seen while she was on vacation, and urgent care where I had been sent when no doctors were available at advanced pain. She was Annoyed with me that I wanted to know what procedure would be done and how it would be done and when I did not understand her answer or did not feel it was sufficient. I will say that the office has been very good about keeping me on my medication regimen, getting me referrals to specialist I need to see, And working with my insurance company. The biggest problem here is that they do not answer their phone's in a timely manner, they do not have sufficient staff apparently to answer phones, get messages to the doctors, return calls, get referrals and authorizations To insurance, it all seems to do with not enough staff or underpaid and overworked staff. I really do recommend Heather at 16th St. and Thomas if you want a very caring NP. It's really a shame that the Greenway and 40th St. office, which is the only location in north Phoenix/Scottsdale has only one fighter and she is a real piece of work.

I do not frighten easily but I now know it was my being prescribed Ondansetron that caused my very *frightening interaction (*Dizziness, nausea, tachycardia, projectile vomiting followed by bradycardia and hypotension) with my Topral XL and Amlodipine. I also now know Ondansetron contains lactose.
They have a fourteen page new patient intake form in which I gave the name, dose and frequency of the prescriptions I take and Topral XL 200 mg. B.I.D. and Amlodipine 5 mg. 1 X day. was among them. I did not include lactose but was asked was I allergic to dairy or lactose and I replied yes to lactose.
It behooves me to understand 1) why I was prescribed Oxycodone when I explained I was given it and had a allergic reaction (itching, mealy bumps & severe nausea) and would prefer to go back on a compound cream rather than take the narcotics and 2) how such a error could occur other than I saw a woman training to go to another office, not even the PA I was suppose to see and certainly not a physician. Since I'm allergic I only take the oxycodone when it effects my walking, the pain makes me tearful and it hampers my ability to sleep. I wouldn't dare take another Ondansetron! This is a horrid way to live especially when there is a easier and safer way to help my pain w/o any side effects.
I am faxing a similar letter to them & my PCP and see what happens but I have no problem going someplace else that allows you to see a real doctor and at least doesn't give you a prescription to a drug you are allergic to and/or

I am tired of places like this when YOU NEVER EVEN SEE THE DOCTOR. Dr. Page is not even an MD - but you only see him for the injection, you only see nurses and PA's for the clinic visits. I now see Dr. Amit Patel MD at Integrity Pain and Wellness and it feels like concierge care compared to Brian Page DO.

worst place I've ever been drove way out there from fountain hills he told me that pain is pain didn't look at CT scans or medical records from a horrific car accident which will leave me in pain for life
when I told him which meds have worked while a trial and error search for what does and doesn't amongst allergies he said I'm not going to argue with you but both meds are highly sold in Phoenix (only lived here 3 months) so I had no clue but I don't surround myself with those people then he saw my address and he upped my dosage..thought that was weird after basically accusing me of telling him "what I felt he should hear"..his attitude changed until my GI doctor said I order to keep you with your doc for pain (contract) to let him know you will need maybe 5 extra for the severe issue in my liver/bile duct area dealing with the odi sphincter he then called me a drug addict and suggested I go to rehab and left me in the room.
I left went to my PCP and will never ever in my life go back and am making a complaint to the medical board after I saw after he gives injections he doses you with morphine and zolfran which is something you don't do after sedation right away not to mention the diplorable way I was treated!
if you have had the same experience make your voice known so no one else has to deal with his unethical ways of practicing

Sad when you tell other pain managment doctors who you saw and they apologize and say don't worry we will get everything together and good for you!

Well after over a year at this place...never once had an issue. Drug screens, appts, all good.
Then I tested positive for Dilaudid they gave me in the hospital and they DISCHARGED ME!
I showed them paperwork showing them I was given the med 3 days prior and they said the toxicoligist said it was a 2 day window and it would not show up after 3 days. BULL&*IT! I was in the hospital for 10 days given that stuff non stop of course it will be in my system! It did not matter I still got discharged and they wont change my records. They are complete a HOLEs

I agree with all of these comments. The restroom smelled like a urinal where they cattle in all the new patients for drug tests. If you do not get SOME kind of injection they will not treat you. It did not matter that I told them that I had already had most of the procedures they offered, they told me I HAD to have SOME kind of procedure or they would not treat me for my pain. I fired them after my first visit and I am now with The Pain Center of Arizona and I am being treated by the wonderful and caring Diane Seago.

Dr Page is only in it for the money, if you don't do an injection you are fired, the NP don't care, I was treated like a number, I would rather live in pain than ever sit in Dr Pages office ever again. I cant believe he calls himself a doctor, he does not care about his patients ! I heard another patient talk about someone who cant even walk after a neck injection, boy that's bad !

This office is one of the worst I have ever encountered. They made me wait more than an hour for my first appointment then for my second after 75 minutes, I left. 3 hours later they had some lackey call to ask me if I was ok after my injection! I didn’t get one. I told the person who called they told me it would be at least another hour beyond the 75 minutes I had already waited so I left. She said ok and hung up. Avoid this place at all costs.
