ADP inconsistent taxes

I worked for a company for almost 2 years that used ADP for their payroll services and with ADP's inconsistencies and errors, I am having to deal with the problems of the financial inconsistencies because they did not take out enough state taxes of my paycheck and every second and third check I received they did not even take out state taxes at all. I would not recommend this company because they messed up everything and I will not ever refer them to anybody I know. Nobody should have to go through emotionally, physically, and financially what I am having to go through because of this companies inconsistencies and un-professionalism.

Ex employee calls to report his SS# on W2 is wrong. These were done by ADP. I check a copy of his/her pay stub processed by ADP. Same thing. So I check my records of information submitted to ADP on start up and mine is correct. I call and after being on hold for 35 minutes (my phone has timer) they answer. The guy I explain my issue to puts me on hold and comes back and says they will straighten it out. And then he proceeds to tell me I will have to pay for that, normally it is $100 but he will give me break! What! Whoa! It is YOUR mistake I say. He says, yah, but you need to accept some responsibility for it. Really? So despite your advertising about how I can leave my payroll worries up to them and they will handle everything I have to pay? I proceed to read the part in my contract to him that says they will accept responsibility for ANY and ALL errors made by them. Period. Nope, he says, I should have checked everything. So let me get this straight I say...I need to double check YOUR work? Yes, he says. Ridiculous! I also tell him he is adding words to my contract that are not there. I give him this scenario...we perform service work for a customer and don't fix it right. The customer comes back and says hey this still doesn't work or is broken whatever the case may be. If I do business ADP's way I can just tell him too bad, you should have checked our work before you paid for it or took the vehicle. Does this not sound utterly stupid? I can't believe he could even speak those words without laughing at how crazy that sounds. That is not the only issue I have had with them but that is probably the dumbest thing yet they have done to my company. We are a small business so I guess they can just railroad us with their big corporate attitudes. NOT! My advice to you is find another company that will actually honor their guarantee and contract. If I was at the office still I would scan the paragraph and add it to this complaint. I am home now so you will just have to trust me on this. Read the contract they will ask you to sign and you will see it for yourself. Needless to say I have switched payroll companies and so glad I did now after today's call to them. Goodbye ADP!

ADP false advertisement and no pay

I worked with said company for 3 months and I am still calling Alfonso Delgado (the owner) for my first check. I stopped working for this company last week because they DO NOT PAY. I have gone to City Hall to report them but there is no record besides the Non Compliance form they asked me to sign when I began to work at one of their posts, therefore since I have no paystubs and they have my clock in/out sheet, I can not report them to City Hall, silly me for not fotocopying my clock in/out sheet. This company tells their contractors that we will work the first 80 hours for FREE and Alfonso doesn't pay his workers. I am reporting ADP Protective Services to the Federal Tra de Commission as well and hopefully we can get this resolved. I am serious when I say DO NOT WORK FOR ADP Protective Services

Your security guards have no common sense. I have a UHaul trailer parked in front of my house for ONE night because I'm moving and my truck is on the grass which by the way belongs to me. There are no signs posted as there supposed to be by FLOrida state statue and he wants to sticker my truck. I have pictures of the owner of this company parked on the grass. But they want to selectively enforce the rules. Ridiculous!

ADP they won't cut me a check they won't let me withdraw the money

My weekly payroll goes is added to the ADP Total Pay Card. I get paid after midnight Thursday. They sent me an email on Thursday stating that per my request my account is closed. I called them and they stated that once an account is closed they cannot reactivate. Which is fine but they did not reject the funds sent to them by my employer.

Since they accepted it my employer can’t do anything and they confirm yes it is on the card but can’t be accessed nor will they send me a refund for a min. of 10 business days.

I live pay check to pay check and me nor my 2 kids that are home will eat this week or the next because these idiots won’t give me my money. I won’t even be able to go to work because I am broke with no means to get any money. If an account is closed then why wouldn’t they reject it and then my employer could cut me a check.

I have 3 different people there and they will not help me. They won’t cut me a check they won’t let me withdraw the money. I don’t know what to do.

ADP holding funds after cancelling transaction

I went to the local BP local gas station to purchase gas at the pump with swiping my adp debit card, I then forgot that there would be a holding fee and quickly cancelled the transaction and proceeded to pay for gas inside in which my sale declined due to the fact that my transaction was pending eventhough I purchased not a single drop of gas and no money in my account to even get gas due to the holding fee... I proceeded to call Adp's Cusstomer Service in which to NO SUPRISE, they couldn't do anything about ... She told me that it would take up to 72 hours for the cancelled transaction to post back to my account... so with a o.oo balance and then calling customer service in which they charged me $3.00 and with me checking my balance for the past 2 days my balance is at a - $ 4.50... in which I 'm pretty sure they are going to charge me a overcharge fee in which I am prepared to fight!

I had a garnishment on my payroll and had both attorneys submit a release for the garnishment to stop money being with held from my payroll. First we faxed the release on 12/15 @1:03pst. ADP stated they didnt recieve it till 12/16 for it takes them 24 to review a fax. Then they stated it takes them 48 hours to process a fax. I called them again on 12/17...

ADP unethical cobra services

ADP is holding our HIPAA statement hostage! even though we were covered for a year through their administrative cobra services, they now refuse to send us the letter that states so. they claim their client (american express) did not contract for that service. excuse me? how are we, the employees hit by a lay-off and trying to stay afloat, supposed to know that? and why should we be responsible? where do they get off telling someone they can't issue such a statement, even though the law provides that insurers and administrators MUST do so? we are escalating this issue to the highest level, to insure we receive comprehensive health coverage. in the meantime: if your business is thinking about hiring ADP, save yourself and your employees a giant headache and don't choose them. they are unethical and they break the law.

We are going through the same thing. We had to keep calling for the invoice. The calls were sent overseas. We could not even understand the reps. Then my husband had one month left so he went for a procedure. Next thing you know, they mailed back his payment then told us we didn't make the payment so they just canceled his insurance and now won't pay his claim. We have even sent the canceled checks as proof. Currently waiting for the next reply. Terrible service on this appeal process because it's all done through fax, no communication with a person. Ugh

ADP is handling our COBRA. They sent us two notices of payment due, then stopped sending them. Their initial info package directed us to contact our previous employer for any questions and we were told (several times) to wait for the invoice which never came. So we were dropped from COBRA, losing our insurance coverage. We went through the appeals process, which included supplying them with copies of all email correspondence with the employer telling us not to pay until we got billed. They turned down our appeal! It took threatening our old employer with legal action to get them to get us reinstated.

ADP is still not sending us invoices and I am going to switch to paying over the internet to insure the payment is received and properly credited since we have been told that there will be no further opportunities to appeal. They seem to enjoy taking advantage of any opportunity to cancel you. Probably because they work for the employer, not the insured.

ADP taking more than I owe

I have been paying off a debt with garnishment through ADP and they have over charged me more than $8, 000 which they now have now record of ever having a garnish for me for that amount. Business owners beware of what you are doing to your employees before choosing this company!

This company needs to be investigated. My son is having a hard time collecting his wage garnishment overpayment from ADP. They have given him so many answers which are lies, that they are not sure what to tell him any longer. Now they claim that they sent the money to his employer and are no longer responsible for the money. WHAT? I think they are wrong. Because until my son receives his money, they still owe him the money. I'm pretty sure an attorney would agree.

Illegal Garnishment
Coram, US
Mar 31, 2014 1:52 pm EDT

Back in 2010, my wages were illegal garnish. This was a divorce matter. My ex attorney took it upon herself to have my wages garnish. She claimed I owned him temporary spouse support during the time of the divorce. I never had to give him any temporary spouse support. She went to the Central intake and put in an Income of Execution, without a court order. I have no legal documentation from the court telling me I had to give him any temporary support. I even took the time from my job to check to see if there were any supporting documentation telling me I have to give any support during the divorce. I have called ADP and told them they are illegal garnishing my wages without a court order. It make me sick, what people get away with. And it gets better, I received a letter from ADP that they were going to be garnishing my wages. Meanwhile they were taking the money out before I received their letter. I know in the State of New York you have to be served. I was not served by the courts. I beg my second attorney to stop this, but said I had a court order for her to do that. I look him square in the face and told him I do not have any court order. My third lawyer was no better. I told him I want that court order and he look at me and told me my ex attorney lost it. So we are now in 2014 and ADP are stilling garnishing my wages. I am now seeking some legal advice and nothing would give me such great pleasure as to sue ADP for the pain and suffering they have caused.

ADP buyer beware

If only I had read this site before deciding to go with ADP. As a small business owner I should have investigated ADP.

We signed on for payroll and 401K services, what a mistake! Attempting to speak with a "specialist" is futile, their record keeping is inept at best and dishonest at worst. Fees are not fully explained when they are "courting" an account. Today, no Fed Tax taken from employee's pay. It is two weeks since funds were transferred to our new 401k account, but funds have not been allocated and records are incomplete.

They are excellent at "lip service, " but when it comes to straightening out a problem they have caused they are not available. They were to debit my account for taxes returned from another payroll service and now (even though I have a letter stating this would be done) I am left in trouble with the IRS because these taxes were not paid.

Please save yourself the headaches we are experiencing. Choose another company, but investigate before signing anything.

ADP hold on card for declined charges

i attempted to purchase fuel at mapco @5211 poplar ave in memphis tn. i had a balance of $59.00 on my total pay card. i only wanted $9.00 worth of fuel. adp allowed mapco to place a hold on a declined charge for initially $100, then they allowed them to debit the balance of my card which was $59.39, on a declined charge? that was monnday 11-16-09, today is thursday 11-19-09 they have now debited the charge, mio=nd you i did not purchase gas. i tried to call the store and the corporate office, to no avail. i then called adp and was charged $3.00 to be told that they could not help me. this card is a rip off. it does not make consumers aware that they charge you .50 to call an automated phone system and get their balance, , i intend to write and let all of my fellow employees know about the hidden fees that are charged, this is predatory pimping at its best!

Put your money into a Credit Union instead of a card, you don't have all those charges. My checking and savings are free, no monthly fees.

This ADP card is the most fraudulant card in this country. I was charged $3.00 @ customer service call to get a DDA and ABA number because the number posted sent to a voice mail system! A voice mail sytem that apparently is a diversion Customer service reps are so poorly trained, they read a script.I think I heard "I'm sorry" 6 times in one call. No intelligent life what so ever. So in one month I have racked up $20. 00 worth of charges just to get MY money.THE CARD LIST WHERE YOU CAN USE ATM WITHOUT BEING CHARGED BUT I AM CHARGED $3.00 BY "PNC" AND $3.00 BY ADP. WITHDREW MONEY FROM A "PLUS" WHICH CHARGED ME $3.00 AND $3.00 CHARGE BY ADP. PEDRO IS THE REAL "PEGGY" AND HE IS ANSWERING THE PHONE AT ADP...PLEASE DO NOT GET THIS CARD. IT IS THE WORST MISTAKE. I AM CONTACTING MY STATES ATTORNEY GENERALS OFFICE TO FILE A PUBLIC COMPLAINT AS WELL AS THE BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU

I totally agree with this. I was just at a store yesterday and tried to use the card to pay for a $15 clothing item. I have at least $200, perhaps more in my account. My card was denied and when I called in, the lady told me my card was on hold and she was not 'authorized' to tell me why it was on hold. Strange, much? She also told me the only way to get it off hold was to fax in a copied picture of my social security, a photo id, and a bill as 'proof'. Who knows how long that will take ! Such a crappy company, and now I can't touch ANY of my money on this card when I really need it right now, I hope this company burns to the ground.

I was married and changed my lasy name. After 5 attempts of sending them my SS card, ID, marriage certificate etc. EVERY time they told me the fax was too dark. But they do not call to tell you this, they leave you guessing untill you call to see the status of your fax, WHAT A JOKE. After changing my name with them they said sorry to inform you ma'am but if I send you a new card will will have to shut off your current card and you will recieve a new card in 7-10 business days for a 9 dollar charge. So i asked them can you go 7-10 business days withoug money? The lady said yes! haha them she tells me to withdraw all my money, I told her yeah that would be great except they only allow 400 dollars to come out per day! This place is a joke, not one employee speaks english and they charge for EVERYTHING! Why did I even bother changing my name with them if they won't send me a new card. Needless to say I closed my account today! BYE BYE PAY CARD YOU SUCK!

This company is the biggest fraud. They charge you for everything. I have ADP through my employer and have had the card for 2 years. My card expires this month. They sent me a new card with the same number but when I called to check my balance it MADE me reset my pin to the new card. So now I am waiting for my new card which was sent out on the 3rd and was supposed to be here on the 9th... it's still not here! I can't use my old card and there is an ACTIVATED new card floating around in the mail system somewhere! to make matters worse the idiots that are working for the company are in another company. They are real life "Peggy"s! They are obviously reading from a script and can not help you with ANYTHING you call about! Tell your employers to read the reviews and DO NOT let you employer load your money onto this card. They charge .25 cent PER transaction and $1.50 to take cash out of the ATM. So you are paying to use your own money so that they can pay Peggy 2.00 an hour in Bum F*** somewhere! This company is SO un-American I hope this company fails and quickly!

Yes, I totally agree with the fact this card or any ofthese pay cards do not tell you.
I too went to a gas station to 5, 00 worth of gas, my card was declined and then money help up my card.

What found out is these cards are not as secure to gas stations...so they all will hold funds on the card unless you are using it as a debit transaction..And you must go into the cashier to do that, do not attempt at the pump.
So now I just do not use the card at a gas station at all.
only for straight purchases.
But I have check against my card..when my money is deposited on my card, I write a money network check and get all my money of. except for their monthly transaction fee.
Which you have to remember to have on the account as well.

This place is a total joke. When I press '1' for English, I expect it to be fluent and understood. WRONG! If you ask them something off of their paper that they are reading, they pause, say, "I understand your frustration." Yeah, sure you do! Somebody needs to investigate this place and see what a scam it is to the people who work their [censor] off for their money and then don't get it all or don't get it AT all.

What you experienced was an "authorization hold." Gas stations do this when you pay at the pump to ensure they get paid for the full amount of gas you pump. Since you swipe your card before you know how much you owe, they automatically hold say, $100. You may only pump $20 worth, but they've held $100 just in case, and you get the $80 back after several business days of processing time. This isn't a big issue if you have lots of spare money in your account, but unfortunately most people can't afford to have their own money kept from them.

To avoid authorization holds in the future, always pay INSIDE the gas station rather than at the pump.

Check out this helpful article explaining authorization holds: http://www.getdebit.com/glossary/authorization-holds/

ADP garnishment services

I have a court order which clearly states that my Child support will be paid as a garnishment to my ex-wife on the day that I receive my pay. We recieve our pay on the 1st and the 15th of every month. ADP has decided to ignore a Cook County Court Order because it relies on a an Illinois Child Support guideline which states that they have 7 days to pay Child Support. So, ADP has decided that this is their policy, regardless of what the court order states, and therefore is making interest on everyones child support payment, by with holding it for 7 days.

I have now moved to Texas, while my ex is still in Illinois. The Texas guideline is 14 days. So, now my ex's child support stays in ADP's hands gaining interest for 14 days.

On August 31st, they decided not to garnish my wages. I called their helpdesk and spoke to "Mike" in Bangalore, who gave me a ticket number. I worked through my company to ensure they do not withhold my child support as I will pay her directly. 29 days later I get a call from "Mike" who quotes me my ticket number and informs me that they are going to withhold that Garnishment on the 15th of October. I explained to them, in a rather harsh voice that if I waited for them to do what they were supposed to do, I would have been in contempt of a judges order for 45 days. I explained that I already paid them and by no means am I authorizing them to withhold an additional child support amount. I have a feeling that they will make a double payment on 10/15.

Why hasn't there ever been a class action lawsuit on them and their actions. It is clear that thier actions are unethical (withholding my money, against a judges order, to gain interest.) It is clear that they are not following the Circuit Courts orders.

ADP taxes

This company takes no responsibility for their mistakes. We had an employee move out of state, and we filled out the approproate change of address form. Well, ADP never took state taxes out for the employess new home. Apparently, we were supposed to know (psychic?) that there was another form to fill out. The web site never prompted us to fill anything else out. Now the employee has to pay a penalty. DO NOT use ADP. You may as well do payroll yourself since either way you will have to assume liability.

ADP very poor customer service

ADP is absolutely the worst payroll company. We fired them in 2005 because they could not fix the mistake they made and resolve the issue timely with IRS. They still unable to get issue resolved. No return call or follow-up from them at all! Their fees are outrageous and there are different answers for each person you speak to. Bad experience.

Agreed. ADP has started charging me for a new benefit that I did not elect. I contacted them immediately when it started and they took over a month to have some poor #### call me on the phone and tell me there was nothing they could do and that I had this benefit all along. The person who they had call has no access to the system, but I do and can clearly see that I have never had this benefit charged to me in 15 years at the company. I am going back to the company payroll now and am going to start complaining loudly...

I made a purchase for gas at a wilco Hess for just 10.00 fuel and then suddenly after making a desperate withdrawal from an atm that alway charges 6.00 for out of network i discovered that my card was billed 75.00 on top of the 10 fuel i purchased to see if they were sufficient funds into the account. I called to check the balance and discovered what it was for on the option to check last 10 transactions. I then called customer support 3 times trying to resolve the issue to only find out that i have to wait for 3 business days to pass before it would return. I then was told that i was being charged 3.00 a pop to talk to them which after that and account access of 50 cents add to almost 20.oo they ripped off of me theirself. My company i work for enrolled me with this as was my only choice at the time but now i am planning to make a move to a regular checking account. This company is scandalous and i would never recommend them at all as they rip off peoples hard earned paycheck from which they sit and gain interest off your money. I think a class action may be in store for them.

I absolutely agree with you regarding ADP. These people are idiots. If you are an employer, please stay away from them. I work for a small company here in Southern California, and unfortunately, ADP is the payroll company that they have been using for the last two years.

ADP makes more errors than they do anything right. For example, ADP not only has shorted me hours, but they have also shorted my co-workers. It's almost as if they do not look at or read the paperwork that is submitted. I have received paychecks short from 1 hour to one day's worth of work. I usually work a set amount of hours per week, but sometimes I will fill in for other employees who are out sick or on vacation. These additional hours are rarely counted by ADP, and sometimes it can take weeks for them to make the correction to your hours. Does ADP even bother reading the payroll paperwork submitted for that week or do they just push a button or go by how many hours you worked the last time? God forbid, I take a vacation because vacation hours really seem to gum up the works over there at ADP!

Now, I am dealing with a tax situation caused entirely by ADP. I received my W-2s and these nitwits over at ADP NEVER took out my federal withholding! ADP is trying to claim that I listed myself with 20 dependents... what the hell? I have NEVER submitted that type of paperwork. My dependent listing of Zero has never changed in the 10 years that I have worked for this company. ADP got it right last year. So if these idiots got it right the previous year and my paperwork has never changed, then why did ADP screw up this year or even think that I changed my dependent status from zero to 20? btw - who the hell has 20 dependents? I'm a single guy with no kids... [censored]es!

ADP also has an incorrect mailing address listed on my w-2s. I have also submitted my corrected address numerous times, but they have failed to correct it. Why should I not be surprised? These people at ADP must hire high-school dropouts, the mentally impaired and the stupid to figure out other people's payroll.

Well, I have had enough of ADP and after their latest f**k up, I am going to lodge a formal complaint against them with the state of California and possibly the Federal government. I will keep complaining until I get some action against ADP, which must stand for All Dumb People.

ADP unethical payroll service

After processing two payrolls erroneously, one ADP client service rep said he would credit my bank account for $1, 300 in taxes and fees that were erroneously debited. When it didn't happen after one week, another ADP client service rep refused to refund any fees from my bank account, due to their errors, because I was not given and did not write down a case number. ADPs records did not include my phone conversation with the first rep.

The second rep then refused to give me their address or the name of the general manager. Since when is it a secret to know who's managing an important business service for you?!?

While they send client satisfaction surveys and call you to discuss bad ratings, there has never been follow-through to implement promises such what I was offered to make up for errors (a delivery fee credit and two free payrolls.)

If you use ADP payroll and tax filing service, be prepared for errors, miscommunication, extra processing costs, and un-user-friendly client service practices. You are unlikely to speak with the same client service rep twice, thus there is no accountability for quality work or complete communication. One rep says "A", the next says "B", then the next one says they don't know anything about the prior reps' conversations.

It's very time-consuming to get through to ADP by phone. You are not allowed to send faxes or emails. I've been a client for 3 years and tolerated occasional mistakes. But this is too much.

I don't know what happened to ADP. They used to be highly focused on customer satisfaction and excellent service. Now it seems employees don't have a chance to serve clients properly due to the policies and faulty customer database that management has given them. Too bad, because ADP is still the largest competitor in the field. I've moved on to Wells Fargo Payroll.

I switched from Intuit (Quickbook) payroll to ADP. BIG MISTAKE. I was with Intuit for well over 10 years and had 0 problem. I started ADP, nothing but problems. Their rep LIE, although they do not admit. Their managers/supervisors are always "at a meeting." It is kind of "dog ate my homework" excuse all the time. Please be aware when you try to sign up with ADP

Apparently y'all decide to close my account. Without my knowledge, when I checked the ADP app it says it was closed for fraud. But when I called that said it was closed because I didn't send my social or ID which y'all should have since my company sent a whole 3 months ago when I started working.

These thieves know damn well how to hide out. Difficult to speak to anyone nor any email responses. They had been cancelled from my company a month ago yet they continue to charge. To this point have stolen over 3k and have made sure the [censored] cannot access my business accounts. They are a criminal organization and double charge wherever they can get away with it.

ADP handles payroll for my company of 50K employees. They do not provide timely and accurate information to the IRS
The IVR is impossible to navigate. I did however get a ticket opened to correct my W-2. So far it has taken 21 days to get the corrected
file and it is still not headed to the SSA. Two "For profit" corporations are playing keystone cops with Tax information that was supposed
to be in the SSA hands by Jan 31. Today is May 31.

They are such a horrible company to deal with, when we stopped doing payroll with them i advised the rep, that this is our last payroll and there wll be nothing done after due to no employees at this tme also advised her that make sure monies are deposited with the approaite agencies taxes state and federal and workers comp, she said ok now this was in dec of 2014, then down the road a letter was sent out by the company who handled our workers comp, that you owe several hundred dollars, for a policy from dec 2014 to oct of 2015 i advised them that there was no payroll done anywhere and we are not liable for the amount they will not talk to me they said talk to adp which i have done so many times but no one seem to care i do not understand how hard it is to back date to dec of 2014 since payroll was not done after tthat, i will also be filing a complain with the govt agencies if this is not resolved in a timely manner, STAY AWAY FROM ADP

My employer uses ADP as payroll company and my experience with them was terrible. Dec. 2015 my employer gave me debit card as of Mar. 2016 the card no longer swipes. I called ADP with this issue and was hung up on by the same representative twice. I asked for a supervisor and was given the automatic system instead of a supervisor. I still was not pleased that I have no access to my funds. I decided after a week to have another card mailed although I needed quicker access to my funds. I even paid for express services $15. When I spoke to rep I forgot to give apt. # when ordering card. I called back 6minutes later make correction and ADP was unable to accomdate me. They wanted to charge me another $15 totaling $30 and the whole time I have been inconvienced...are you serious! I hate my employer banks with ADP because customer service and support they do not have. CUSTOMER SERVICE SHOULD ALWAYS BE A MUST!

Here in Canada a good friend of mine who's company uses ADP Payroll services is experiencing quite a few problems and some serious ones. She gets the run around all the time. We do our own payroll in house still and I really don't mind. The Canadian banking systems offer payroll services so you can do direct deposit. We do have quite a few options. In the long run it depends on cost. Cost wise I think in house is always better!

ADP Unbelievably horrible service

Unless you want to deal with the most frustration you've ever had in your life... NEVER EVER sign up for the ADP Flexible Spending Program. This is a benefit plan often offered to employees by their employers. It provides automatic tax deferred deductions to be taken out of your pay for out-of-pocket medical expenses. ADP is extremely strict about members providing the (* REQUIRED) itemized receipts to substantiative every penny you've spend (of your own money). That's not the problem-the problem is the methods in which your supposed to provide this information. They want to receive this documentation by fax. But mysteriously, they never receive them. I sent them my 'substantiation forms and receipts' over 6 different times. Never received. I'd call after I faxed and they won't confirm whether or not they were received. I had $2, 000. deducted from my pay in 2007 and had $1, 969 worth of medical expenses that they currently denying. They tell me that I actually owe (ADP) reimbursement for $1, 969. because they already paid the claims. Regardless that it's MY money. They blame it on the rules of the IRS. Never taking responsibility of their own administrative incompetency. I've mailed them the required forms and copies of all my faxed transmission confirmations and they still refuse to confirm they received them. I mailed them Certified-Priority Mail. I'm blown away on how this huge company is getting away with ripping off employees for their hard earned wages. And how many corporations use them. Any suggestions would be sincerely appreciated.

Has anyone had luck with filing a claim with the BBB? I may look into it. My issues are the same as I am reading and Always they say some one will call me back . once that the check was going to be cut in a week. I called a week later to check and got a different story.

Same issues here. File a claim, and part or all of it is denied. I have even filed a claim where I go back a week later and the claim is completely missing on their site. I never receive a confirmation email from them when I submit a claim either. It is as if they want to produce or leave as little evidence as possible that a claim was filed. Now I have to take screenshots of my confirmed claim submissions in order to provide a claim ID (which I am sure they will say is invalid or not found WHEN I have to contact them.) My only saving grace is that I terminated employment with my company and no longer contribute to this account. I still have about $700 worth of claims I am trying to get back from them (of MY MONEY)! From what I hear, companies make arrangements with these 3rd party vendors like ADP where the 3PV will not charge for the administration of the plan, but will instead keep a percentage of funds that are 'not claimed' in the calendar year, so the 3PV companies are ENCOURAGED to deny claims and drag their feet and force you through a three ring circus to fulfill your claim. It is in THEIR INTEREST to NOT do the job they were supposedly paid to do as a service to the employees of the company. The whole industry is pretty un-regulated from what I can tell, so it's the wild west. And I thought basic health insurance was bad! Do yourself a favor, the $150-$200 tax savings you might get at the end of the year for opening one of these is not worth the headache, so just open up your own savings account or money market account (after tax) and park your money there. Yes, you don't get the pre-tax benefit, but is 150-200 dollars a year worth your sanity and time spent trying to recover your expenses? The money is yours, it will earn very little interest mind you, but you don't lose it at the end of the year either, and it's not pulling teeth trying to get reimbursed. You just have to have the self-discipline to leave the money there (try a direct deposit to an account or bank you don't normally use...out of sight...out of mind.)

Is anyone aware of a class action lawsuit against ADP? They denied both my claims, one of which they said I din't have the doctors note for, which I did, but then claimed it was from last year and not valid. I asked for them to send me the bylaws that explicitly state this 1 year SOL and they said they could not, but I could contact the IRS. The IRS? Are you kidding me? The other was a receipt from Quest Diagnostics which is well known, but they said there was not enough info provided on the receipt. How ridiculous? I got it from Quest Diagnostics. They are scamming consumers. I know, because most people would just give up. They know that and are playing to that and it's how they make a profit. There needs to be a class action lawsuit brought against them.

The ADP FSA is a pestering scam. The chard card is just one example of this. You use the card for doctor visits and several months later, ADP will ask you to send them additional supporting documentation. If you are a busy professional, you may put this compliance initiative off, but ADP will have a cut off date for your additional support submittal and you do not get back any of your contributions if you are late on your submittals. This is known as a "pestering scam"

The way it becomes a scam is to make the process more complex, cumbersome, more involved, so busy participates lose focus, and end up losing their contributions to FSA. Since this process is subject to corruption "pestering" methodology tactics, it can be replaced by tax credits on the individuals tax returns much like the dependent care credits. Thus the individual tax liability is lowered receiving tax credits for the same expenditures. Thus, the FSA programs can be abolished along with all its problems and nobody will miss them or loose the so call intended financial benefits.
