I started working through Adecco on 9/19/10. I worked 30 hours my first week. Well on 10/1/10 I was supposed to be paid my first check. My check was not in the mail. I figured that maybe since it was mailed it might take an extra day. Well I did not get a check Saturday or even Monday. I called the office and asked why I had not received a check. I was told that I wasn't even in the system, and that my hours were not input into the system. From there I was told that an emergency check would need to be cut for me. On Wednesday I was finally told that I needed to call to have an emergency check cut. Well I spent quite a bit of time not only on the phone, but in the office as well trying to get this mysterious emergency check. After 24 hours I still had not heard anything, so I called the payroll office again, and was told that the first week was added to the second week (40 hours) check. So, Friday rolls around again, and I go and check my mail. No check. I call the payroll dept. again and was told that a replacement check would be cut for me and that it would be shipped overnight per UPS and I should receive it Saturday. I received a tracking number in my email as well. Well it's Saturday, no check has shown up, and when checking where the check is supposed to be on UPS website the info says the billing information was voided less than 3 hours after it was received yesterday. I still have not been paid for my hours worked, I have missed work because of this, doctors appointments have been missed as well, and bills have not been paid because I have not received the money I have earned. With companies pulling stunts like this it's no wonder why our economy is in the toilet.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.

I quit two months ago... I'm still owed $600+ from Not being paid either. I contacted their ethics line, and was assured they would investigate the claim. Two months later, and the only person to respond to me, is the investigator from the unemployment agency. They bold faced lied to them and told them I've been paid in full.
Like, I wouldn't even be wasting my time on this retarded bs, if I wasn't getting my pay... I have better things to do, than argue with a corrupt corporation that cheats and steals from it's employees, and probably their clients too... I'm so over it.
If it wasn't for the fact that I have a special needs child, I probably would have just let it go. but seriously, this is beyond disgusting what ADECCO has done to it's employees.
My husband worked last week when he went into the office he was told he wasn't in the system and to call a 866 number him motor afternoon the payroll manger talk to him like crap I mean we take money to make money and now we just screwed I'm filing a formal compliant with bbb
Its 2016 and they are still having payroll issues not paying their temp employees. How are they still in business?
I thought I was the only person that had went trough this, the were paying me less money than i was supposed to get paid and, they fixed it, but after a month and a half i have not yet received the retro pay i was supposed to get for all the time they paid me the wrong hourly rate.
been busting my tail on a third shift job they have been passing the buck at the asheville office and very rude i just want to get my money and pay my bills. they call me a disgruntal employee yes im pissed 40 hours working in that hell hole and they wont pay me jack! ive got 4 blank checks WTF am i going to do with that thanks for the screwing i guess i will call a lawyer and find out what to do
I agree, Adecco sucks! I work here in Ohio at the Anna engine plant and they do nothing but lie and cheat. I'm stuck here because there is no other work I can find. I'm a former police officer of 19 years and being a cop is worse then being a criminal when it comes to getting a regular job.
Adecco will say or do anything to keep their pockets nice and full.
Adecco was supposed to pay me for the last day that I worked and when I got my check it was voided and all the money went to some Emergency Check Advance Payback. I called them and was told someone would call me back but never did. Has anyone else had these issues?
They have not paid me either, so I have filed a civil complaint against them. The office in the downtown Calgary area is very useless and they still owe me for my work in January. I tried to resolve this situation with the branch manager Doug, but he is also useless. I don't know what else to say about Adecco, except "DON'T WORK FOR THEM, THEY WILL NOT PAY YOU EITHER"...They owe me for an assignment I did in early January 2012.
ADECCO SUCKS, THEY DON'T VALUE THEIR EMPLOYEES AND THEY ARE CHEATERS.
THEY CHEATED ME OUT OF MY HARD EARNED MONEY AND THEY STILL HAVE NOT FIXED THE MISTAKE AND PAID ME MY FAIR SALARY.
Adecco pulls this on all of their employees. We forgot to pay you, so we'll cut you an "emergency check" which has 30 per cent taken out of it, or you can opt to have it rolled into the next check, which increases your taxable income. Watch closely when they do actually start paying you on the regular, they steal small amounts from your checks. If you complain, they will tell you the amount in question is too small to pay you back. They treat their employees like dogs.
