Complaint Rating: 97 % with 104 votes
Company information:
Acia Berry
342 Springdale Circle
Palm Springs, Florida
United States
Phone: 561-964-8903

I received a bottle of acia berry 200 MG which I did not order. I was charged $74.95 on my credit card. I was told to return the item to: Performance Health USA LLC, PO Box 971080, Orem, Ut 84097. I have tried to contact this company at Tel. No. 1-888-289-8740. I get either a busy signal or the phone is not answered. I was asked to leave my name and my telephone number and someone would call me from that office. I have received no rely.

The same thing has happened to me. I am not being charged $19.95 and I not even received any pills to return. Same problem with phone number and I have emailed and no response. What is the next step to take? Any advise?

The same also happened to me. Only my shipment came from Fullfillment, 4650 SW 51st St., Bay 711, Davie, FL 33314. I received a sample and a full bottle of AcaiBerry tablets. Both shipments were unsolicited and I am currently being billed $3.95 and $89.31. I have experienced this similar behavior of shipping a product unsolicited and being billed to a Credit Card. This company smells like the previous company. Very evasive with no company name to refer to with multiple phone numbers to dial and have the same recording. Phone numbers are IP-ONLINE HEALTH 801-2088650, MY VIP FIT 801-208-8735, and 801-208-7485 with no company name. Customer Service refers to product Nu-Bodi Hoodia w/Green Tea. I do not know what to do. Any ideas?

I like the rest of you got charge, for things I did not order.I did order the acia berry free sample for3.95 shipping, but then they charged it again plus $89 SOMETHING. I .was so upset I like you could not get a hold of them to dispute the charge

I know it was extreme, but I reported my credit card stolen or lost, so they put a block on my card so they can make no more charges on my account. T he only thing bad is it could take up to 10 days to get my new card in the mail.
Now to try to get payment of $89.00 off.
Good luck all of you.

I did the same by ordering a trial free offer and now they're charging me $89.00, I will take the same advise and report the card lost. I've been calling, it's all a scam!!! This should be reported

I ordered a free sample of acai over 1 month ago. As of today have received Nothing. But my credit card was charged for $48.95. I called the company(hard to get through and asked why they charged my credit card for $48.95. They said I ordered The gum along with Hoodia. What the hell are these. They said return the samples for credit. Catch -- they charge you to return the samples. Don't get caught in this SCAM. Thanks Oprah

I also ordered the sample for 3.95---AS SEEN ON OPRAH !!! I received the sample along with another larger one month supply. I returned that and 2 weeks later I get another one month supply of the stuff which I returned as it said to do on the enclosed slip. It also said I would not be charged if I returned it. Then I get a 89.31 charge to my credit card. When I called the credit card company it said that charge was from a cosmetic store ?????? the number that is on that charge is from IP-GREATONLINEDIET--801-208-8720. I called and they said I need some kind of code to access the number. What is up with that ?? the first order was from IP-ONLINEHEALTH with the same 801-208-8650 number that needs some code to access it. If I can not get this taken off then I suppose I will have to change my credit card also. This is the first time I have ever run across this and will never order anything like that again off the net.

Sounds like I'm not the only one that got took! I, too, sent for a free sample for just shipping & handling. Now I get billed $74.95 for a product I didn't order and cannot cancel. My company is PerformancecLife and they do not answer the phone when I attempt to contact them. How can they get by with this and what can we do to stop it? I am thinking of canceling my card that that would be very inconvenient. Is there some consumer watchdog organization we can contact? I would love to see these guys brought up on charges!

I ordered the free sample. After reading this site I called my bank and put a block on my card. I am so happy I got the heads up before I was ripped off for more. Thanks.

Same thing is happening to me, my credit card was billed from the Dietstore.com so I contacted my credit card wanting to know what this charge was for and all they could give was a phone # that is busy all day long. I got on this website and left a message and still no response. It's a crock! No product has been sent but yet they are charging me for it. Better business bureau is my next step! They need to be reported for this since it keeps happening to everyone who has ordered the sample and then is being charged for 89.00. It sucks!

I have recently experienced the same. I did not order ANYTHING! I just happened to received the ACAI BERRY Supplements in the mail. The phone number I keep calling, I cannot get anyone. I called my bank because I have recently experienced someone making charges to my account. The bank stated they do not know what is going on at this time. I have filed a police report on my bank account and have contacted them reporting this mysterious bottle of supplements I have received. They stated taht something is fishy about the whole situation and they have turned it over to the FBI since messing with a bank account is federal. They stated they hope to figure out what is going on with this and who is behind it and plan to press charges soon!

I have gone through the same thing with this company. I ordered the free sample and agreed to pay the freight of $3.95, and the next month the $89.31 was charged on my account. I did however get ahold of someone at the phone number listed in the terms and conditions, which I had a hard time finding. I finally got to a manager which told me that they DO NOT DO REFUNDS. I told him I hadn't even received the whole bottle in the mail, but because he siad it was already mailed he would not give me any credit. I did however get my money back by going to the bank and filing a paper telling them that it was an UNAUTHORIZED CHARGE TO MY ACCOUNT. The bank then puts the money back in your account and goes after the ACIA BERRY Company. I also HOT carded my debit card and had to wait 3 weeks for another. The site I ordered mine from did not make you check a box saying you agreed to the terms and when I did go back after this fiasco they had written out EIGHTY NINE DOLLARS AND THIRTY ONE CENTS so your eye would not go to the dollar amount $89.31. That is pretty slick if you ask me. Be very careful when ordering things off the internet.

I got my problem resolved by contacting my credit card company and contesting the charge. They reversed the charge and told me to hang onto the product in case the company wanted it back. The company was told to send me a prepaid mailing label. I got a letter from Visa telling me the problem was corrected and an email from Performance telling me I should have contacted them if I wanted to cancel and not involved Visa in my problem. They assured me that I would have no further contact with them, either being billed or receiving any more product. They make me out to be the bad guy but I figured I won the war!

I think you people should get a hold of Oprah somehow. Seems like she had someone on her show to promote this and she should actually bring him back. :) Just a thought

I placed an order for acia pure pills and agreed to the $3.95 charge, and when I put in my credit card info, the site redirected my credit card information to another site for green tea, and they added 2 other products to my order, totaling over $100. I called the cust. serv. number right away, and the "wait time" was 46 minutes. I held on the phone for that long, and no answer, you're on hold and that's it. I waited on the phone for 1 hour and 12 minutes, and nothing! I finally hung up realizing it's a scam. I called my credit card company right away and told them what happened. They told me if the charges are put on my card withing 24 hours, I can dispute it, but only until the charge appears. I'm going to cancel my card after reading everyone elses's problems. I wish I read these testimonies before I ordered acia. Looks like we all got scammed.

Their websites say these products were featured on Oprah and Rachel Ray. Thier website also features pictures of popular actresses (Lindsey Lohan and others) saying they use these products. I wonder if it is true, I never saw the episodes and fell victim to a lie trusting it was true. I finally did research and found a link of someone saying this product was never even on Oprah. I'm wondering how they could use her endoresement/pictures/testimonies on their websites if it isn't true. I wonder if there's a way to let Oprah or Rachel's marketing development team know what's going on. Maybe they can give us real answers to this product and the nightmares! I don't know how this scam hasn't gotten the attention of the media. Millions of people are getting scammed!
