This company is a total scam. BUYER BEWARE. I paid the $5.95 in S&H & then discovered an $80 charge to my credit card once every 2 wks! The "30 day risk free supply" is actually only valid for 14 days. If you don't cancel w/in 14 days of purchase, you are billed $79.95 automatically every 2 wks. This is a total scan. The pills don't work & aren't FDA approved. In addition, you receive NO receipt, the product comes with NO invoice & NO information about how to contact the company or cancel. When I finally did track them down, the customer service rep (VAL, ID#121) was very defensive, disrespectful & threatening. DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS COMPANY!

We appreciate forums such as Complaints Board that allow for customers of all products to vent or state their beliefs concerning a given product. We look at it as a great opportunity for us to share our vision and see it only as a positive. We understand your issue and acknowledge there have been others who have shared your same frustration. We recognize we are not perfect, but we are always seeking perfection.

We would like to take a moment and outline our whole marketing concept and emphasize it is very clearly outlined in our Terms and Conditions and made readily available and we actually require persons to verify it has been read BEFORE one chooses to take our sample. J'ai aussi commandé Acai-aSlim le 30 octobre dernier et je n'ai pas encore le produit mais ...paiement déjà prélevé de ma carte.
J'ai téléphoné aujourd'hui mais mon anglais est très très sommaire...j'ai une confirmation d'annulation D 013 mais je ne sais pas si je serai remboursée. 43, 80$ et 4, 70$. Peut-être qu'Oprah va nous rembourser puisque son nom est associé????

Not only did they sell my email address to every spammer known to man, which I now have to close down because it is unusable, but I discovered additional charges of $150 on my credit card less than 5 days after ordering the FREE product. THIS IS A SCAM, DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY. I wish I had checked this website before I ordered the product, it would have saved me a lot of time and money.

The sellers of Acaiaslim are extremely fraudulant. Hiding their lies in fine print does not make the illegal activity legal. Nobody should ever do business with these fraudulent people.

They have figured out how to systematically ensure they never have any repeat business. HOw? They lie to the customer and atempt to steal their money right from the very first contact.

Amazing! I hope the FTC shuts them down and others like them.

My niece went and ordered this junk with my credit card. I checked various internet posts and read through the scamsite's "fine print", noticing how they try to sucker and mislead you into paying for all this crap you don't want just to get a trial bottle hokey diet pills you'll probably never recieve.

For those of you have already been charged the $70-80, plus the charges from various affiliates, my advice is:

Get the autopayments and shipments stopped ASAP. If you can't get through to them on the phone, be aware that they operate under numerous sites each advertising a number that may or may not work. Search this website for other related posts (possibly under different product names, i.e. Acai-aSlim, Acai-noni Burner, Extreme Acai, Pure-Acai, etc.) for phone numbers and methods that have worked for other users. Be aggressive and demand a refund and cancellation number. Never open anything they send you in the mail and return
it immediately. Explain the situation to your credit card company and dispute all charges made against you. It may help to have your bank/credit company do one of those resolution conference calls with the scammers. Be aware that the scamsites will also sign you up for various affliate programs (i.e Fit Factory) that will start charging you in as little as 5-7 days. These affliate services need to be stopped and cancelled separately. Find out what they are and again refer to postings from other users regarding the most effective methods of stopping them.

The key is not to wait around for more charges to build up. Put the time in to stop these crooks before it gets out of hand. Act NOW!

As for myself, rather than go through the hassle of calling them and being jerked around for days (been down this road before), I decided to cancel my credit card and have it reissued. This is likely to only guaranteed way ensure that you wont be charged at some future date. It may sound drastic, but never underestimate how relentless and cruel these scammers can be. My advice is to do the same if you're still under that 14-day trial period for the pills (and hopefully under 7-days for Fit Factory, after which they'll start charging you). Unfortunately the S&H charge goes through rather quickly, and for me it's not worth the hassle to dispute. I consider myself lucky making it out of this down only 5 bucks or so.

Now I'm just praying that my email's spam filter is tough enough to withstand the barrage that I'm sure will begin in a day or two.

After reading your comments about Acai-aSlim we checked with our credit card company and found that Acai-aSlim had charged us $34.95 for a FREE bottle of Power Tea. This was the same day that we received the FREE trial bottles in the mail...We decided to report this fraudulent activity to our card company immediately and decided the best approach to this activity was to cancel our card right away. We also called the company within the allotted 14 days and demanded the return of our money and shipped back the product to them unopened.We'll have to wait and see what happens now. Thanks for your replies and for your helpful information. You've saved us a huge headache..

This company is a real scam, charging $80 for this when it was just supposed to be a shipping fee. I called and cancelled but think I should get a new card # because I don't trust them. The rep was very nasty.

I went on the website to see what the comotion was all about and I noticed the T&C in normal sized font, just remember there is always a catch and nothing is ever for FREE. Also it is not the companies fault of your neglagence, you are all grow adults and I recomend you read the T&C when placing orders...or if you are not capable and blame your mistakes on everyone else...dont order!

It took me three months to successfully cancel the autoship and stop the charges to my credit card. I had 3 unopened bottles, which the company claimed I could return. I did (with confirmation upon receipt), and they are claiming they never received them! They also say they gave me a refund, which my bank assures me I did not get. This company is terrible, they should be shut down. All they do is steal your money, and the "customer service" is a joke.

The company that sells for them is "Just Inc. Media" there number is 888-591-2190. You will have a long wait on hold. Call them and get your money back. If not I say a class action should be looked at. This is a joke and we need to do something about it.
