Ordered DVD with no response!
Complaint Rating: 100 % with 1 votes
On 10-26-2007, I went to the PBS website to purchase Prime Suspect Series. I clicked on the DVD link on the PBS site and was routed to DVDdonkey.com. Assuming that this was a reputable site, I placed the order and my Visa statement was charged $148.12. I never received a confirmation for the order via email so I went back to the DVD website to try and initiate contact. The email support on the site sent me an email back stating "delivery failure". I then called the number as billed on my Visa statement 877-887-3743 (which showed 877-TV-Series as the biller) and the phone just rang and rang with no answer. I was able to leave a message but again, no answer or call back and no answer.

I am concerned as both 877-TV-Series and DVD Donkey, I later found, have had several complaints about failure to deliver/scam reports. I am also concerned since PBS is automatically routing customers to this site. I do not want to be ripped off!

Thank you!
Kelly.

They got us both scammed on the same day. I placed an order that very same day for the Summerland DVD set. I was billed $127.07 and never got a confirmation email. I've tried contacting them and failed just as you did. I'm sending a letter to my credit card company hoping to get the charge taken off. I wish you luck.

Do not get internet service with Net Zero. They debited money out of my account after I canceled service with them after three months of telling them I canceled service they told me it showed where I did cancel my service. But when my bank statement arrived it showed they were still taking out money. I had to send a letter to the Attorney General to get them to stop and put the money they stole over the course of three months back in my account. I don't want anyone else to get scammed like I did from this company. What a bunch of crooks!

On 12-14-07 I ordered a complete 5 season dvd set of Miami Vice from DVDDonkey and recieved a confirmation saying that my purchase would arrive in 12 to 14 business days. My checking account was debited 127.00 and the item did not arrive for 30 days. The 1st 2 dvd's of the set were ok, but the rest were very bad copies, or dvd's of other tv shows that were not even copied over. I tried unsuccessfully to reach this company, and had no luck. We were not only ripped off, we were scammed

My order #165794 was placed 11/23/07 and arrived 12/23/07 - missing disc #13 of 14 of the China Beach television series. I contacted DVD Donkey and several days later received an email stating that I should expect a new set. Never having received it, I again contacted you - to no avail. I consider $ 80 a fair price to pay for a gift, only to be embarrassed when it is not complete. Can anyone help and/or advise as to the next step?
