Placed order on 04/01/08, sent check on 04/02/08, check cleared on 04/07/08. I have called at least 15 times to check on the status of my order and they give me different answers every time. In an instance i am told the order has shipped and some times i am told the order will ship on Friday. They will not give me refund either. PLEASE HELP!

After waiting 2 months for our products or a refund, I filed a complaint with the BBB and I have finally received confirmation that my refund will be to us by the 10th of june. For those of you who got what you needed on time, congratulations, but that doesnt give you any right at all to call us assholes. this is a forum of people trying to find a solution to a problem, nothing more.

Alright everybody,

I last posted 10 days ago stating that the Better Business Bureau had given NYT 7-10 days to give us the money that we were owed. The check was deposited yesterday. WE GOT OUR REFUND!! I have come to see that it isnt a "scam" company, it is simply poorly run! When an order is being placed, we should be informed of the back order issues and given the chance to knowlegeably change our minds. You cant run any business with out product, and the fact that they were dishonest with me about my order and kept sending me to different people and not management when i asked for it is completely unexeptable! Had they been forward with us from the begining, we would have gone through the MONTH LONG refund process and had our money before now, but instead they were dishonest and greedy, not wanting to give back the money.

WHILE I DID GET THE MONEY BACK EVENTUALLY, I DO NOT RECOMEND USING THIS BUSINESS FOR YOUR ORDERS. THEY HAVE PROVEN THEMSELVES TO BE UNTRUSTWORTHY.

So, do as they ask, file for an immeadiate refund, tell them you cant wait any longer. Here on this website there is written proof that they will write you a check TODAY, they said so, so they have to do it. It might take 10 days to get to you, but you will get your money back, eventually.

and a message to NYT:
No one likes being lied to, or hung up on, or being left on hold for 45 minutes because you dont want to deal with a problem that YOU created by not telling people the whole truth. I will never do business with you again, I will never recomend any one else does, and if it were in my power, there are a few people on your staff who would have ALREADY been let go for bad business practices.

Had my questions been answered the first time i called, or maybe even by the 10th, i would not have reported you to the BBB. What you did was wrong and please be aware, everyone now has it in writing that you will issue a check today if requested, by law you have to now, so stop screwing us over and keep to your word.

NY Textiles are TOTAL scammers DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM. Everything everyone said above is telling the truth about phone calls always being on hold, they LIE to me straight in my face and when they get caught they make excuses saying SOMEONE TOLD ME TO SAY THAT, they continue to tell you its back order for this friday, then next week it's that friday, when you ask for your money back they say they'll get that to you, lie about when it was sent and you don't receive it. THey all keep lying I do not even want to type up my experience with them. If you want to no SPECIFICS I have it all documented their faxes stating they will do this and that with signatures. I'm reporting them to the BBB and FBI right now and I will keep you guys updated on this as well. Oh and the person who keeps writing that NY TEXTILES ARE GREAT is a bunch of bull. Do you guys know WHY that all the sudden came up to respond to these complaints? Because i was so fed up with them I TOLD THEM ON THE PHONE that it was all over the place saying they are scammers! haha I can only laugh at them and their way of dealing with complaints and NO SERVICE not even bad service! (excuse me for not being proper with my grammar and all in this post. I've been on the phone with them for over an hour today again since over the past month and do NOT feel like dealing with them nor talking about them again.) I'm sick and tired of this and going to let the federal government deal with them. I'm going to make sure they close this company down. I have connections with government that can help deal with this ridiculous company. I've been holding off for over a month and I'm done dealing with them!

I was in your situation and honestly, even with people in the govt. on your side, the FBI can not close them down. The NYT company may be immoral and yes, they suck, but they cant be closed down because we are unhappy with their lack of service.

As far as the people who posted the " great products great prices" comments, I believe that it was an employee pretending to be a satisfied customer. Everyone needs to know THE FBI CAN NOT HELP YOU.
Don't bother with them because that is not what they do. It is only the Better Business Bureau that will help us get our money back, and once you file your complaint with them, NYT has 2 weeks to fix the situation.

It took me 10 days to get my refund once I filed a complaint with the BBB. And really, it was quite easy to file the complaint. it can be done online or over the phone.

I recomend to everyone who still has any issues with New York Textiles to file with the BBB, and in 2 weeks or less you will have your refund.

BTW: to everyone who does file with the BBB, once NYT gets your BBB complaint they will not discuss your order with you anymore, so stop calling and simply wait. ok? TRUST ME, please, I just went through it.

This company is not a scam. I ordereed my stuff. I receieved a partial beacuse of a backorder and now i got a refund for the stuff i didnt get. How is that a scam?? Common sense people. These are genuinely nice people. Why would they have an email account for refunds if they didnt intend on giving one. If you have backordered items-- email them!!! refundofbackordereditems_nyt@yahoo.com think about what you are saying. they wouldnt even bother if they just wanted to take your money.

Why would this big company have yahoo email addresses? Think about that. Its because it is a total scam! My Mom ordered stuff months ago and she has called and called and called. Well she got ahold of an investigator in our area and he has been working on it. He spoke to the police in New York. Come to find out the company is ACTUALLY based out of Ohio. The investigator has informed us that the FBI and BBB are involved. Now I don't know what the FBI can do, but they are involved. This came directly from a police officer/investigator. And these people are SUPER rude. They hang up on you, don't answer questionis, tell you your order shipped or is shipping blah blah blah. All a load of crap! So all I can suggest is to file your complaint with the BBB and hope you get your refund. If this business is a real business they'll be out of business shortly with their terrible customer service! Everyone gets what they deserve!

After further research, i discovered that i have falsely accused the JAMESTOWN NEW YORK TEXTILES. i apologize for all the damage ive done and i hope you will not use legal action against me. I ordered with New York Textiles, the clothing manufacturer, not the hotel distributer. DO NOT DEAL WITH NEW YORK TEXTILES THE ONE THAT MAKES CLOTHES. they send defective products. please disregard my first complaint.

Hey guys, I ordered with them a month ago and still haven't received anything. Can I get any money back if I paid with a cashiers check. I ordered $500 worth of stuff and I also referred my uncle to this deal and he also placed a similar order for his motel and he never got anything yet either. Please help.

I believe everybody pays by cashiers check. Which is a bit odd, but anyway, you should still be able to get your money back. File a complaint with the better business bureau and hope for the best!
