Non-activation of SIM Card!

I took a postpaid connection from Airtel. 6 days have passed and till now they have not activated the no given to me. I'm calling customer care services and they are telling that may be my documents have not been submitted. The concerned person have submitted all the documents and Airtel persons tell that they are working on it. Do not know when will it be activated! Their service is pathetic!

I agree with all the above complaints that i have read.
Airtel customer care service is the worst worst worst. i have never seen such terrible service.
And not only customer care, but also the officials working at the aritel offices.

They have de-activated my sim for no reason, then made my sim inactive and then barred my calls and did all sorts of things possible with it.
Its been 4 weeks that ive been facing these problems and the problems never seem to end.

The customer care ppl seem to be totally clueless.

When i went to the airtel office to check up, the personal at the 100ft road, indira nagar road, b'lore office screamed at me and blamed me for the problems! Infact, they have also told me outright on my face that They will not solve my problem!!

What sort of a service is this??

I have made a complaint to the manager at that branch, but no response was recieved from her either.

It very well shows the kind of seriousness that goes into customer care.

Non-activation of SIM Card!


I took a postpaid connection from Airtel(date 28/09/2007). 9days have passed and till now they have not activated the SIM given to me. I'm calling customer care services and they are telling that may be my documents have not been submitted.

The concerned person have submitted all the documents and Airtel persons tell that they are working on it. Do not know when will it be activated. And also i donot know the mobile no of that sims, Only i got the sim, please help concerned person

Regarding Aritel service I can say they are just HELPLESS.
ppl are on helpdesk are there for making full customers, even Sr. person like supervisor giving commitment but never complete on time. Main problem is they are just liar..... I am using Airtel from last 3 years just because of my mobile number which i dont want to change.

The Service is Really Pathetic.......

If some one is looking this complain I really wann tell that "only network improvements is not enough, Customer satisfaction is also important. this is thing with which company will get some goodwill"

Other wise there are lots of options are available for mobile user.

I am also facing same prob. After 5 days of activation they have closed my incoming and outgoing without giving any prior notice. Now, Why TRI don't take action on Airtel after so many complaints. Is they both have good relationship? And customer has to suffer.

yesterday, on 31.12.2007, at 22.30 hrs., i saw that my credit balance of my prepaid connection no. 9818787800, was less by rs.30.00, i.e. rs.30.00 were deducted without any request for add on services, the same thing happened last month asd well, and later came to know that it was deducted for the jokes services, whereas i aged more than 70 yrs., why would opt for jokes services, as by profession i am an advocate, and have no xtra time for all your foolish add-on services, so, the amount deducted from my pre-paid account is totally baseless, and should be re-imbursed to me without any delay or failure.

i hope that the company made by the vision of a single person and the efforts of all its valueble resources, i.e. its employees, will take care of my complaint and take necessary action in my favour and i will get the positive response of my complaint at the earliest.

This is to inform your that I bought a SIM card from CULLULAR SHOPPE, Shyam Kunj Building, 19, Arabinda Sarani, Kolkata – 700 005, ( Phone No. 9830019908, 9339120777 ) after submitting proper documents on 14th May'2008. After 7 days the outgoing call was barred. The Airtel customer care informed me by SMS that the documents were not submitted by the dealer. After that I contacted the dealer on 27/05/2008. They told me that to whom I submitted the documents is in leave and the documents are lying with him. I was asked to submit my identity proof again otherwise my mobile connection will be disconnected after 10 days. They behaved with me very badly and in such a manner that the fault is mine. My mobile connection has already been disconnected from 28/05/2008 without giving me 10 days’ time. I am surprised to know that they are asking for documents again. Why should I suffer because of the ignorance of the authorized dealer of Airtel ?

Please do the needful and oblige. Your early action shall be highly appreciated.

I had taken postPaid sim card frm Airtel (ViJayanagar).I had prepaid connection which i was supposed to migrate to postpaid, last tuesday.the Executives over there had promised the it wud get done by saturday but it is next monday but still not being done .when i contacted they told they are processing still.

i have taken airtel demo for easy recharge on 6th september 2008 from prakash (the dealer of crpf, hakimpet, balajinagar, secunderabad A.p) he had given me demo activated it and he told me to take the MPIN number from customer care, after 8 dars i got information from customer car that the dealer had activated the number but not passed my number for easy recharge, after that i had a talk with dealer he told that the sim will not be valid for easy recharge and he had given me another demo and now also the customer care was telling the same problem
